ಯೆಶಾಯನು 10
“Woe [to] those decreeing decrees of iniquity, And writers who have prescribed perverseness,
2 ೨ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಿ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಅನಾಥರನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹೊಡೆದು, ವಿಧವೆಯರನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Of My people, That widows may be their prey, That they may spoil the fatherless.
3 ೩ ದಂಡನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ದೂರದಿಂದ ಬರುವ ನಾಶನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀವು ಏನು ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ? ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡುವಿರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯಾರ ವಶಮಾಡುವಿರಿ?
And what do you do at a day of inspection? And at desolation that comes from afar? Near whom do you flee for help? And where do you leave your glory?
4 ೪ ಕೈದಿಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಮುದುರಿಕೊಂಡು, ಹತರಾದವರ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದೇ ಇವರ ಗತಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಡೆದರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪವು ತೀರದೆ ಕೈ ಇನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿಯೇ ಇರುವುದು.
It has bowed down without Me In the place of a bound one, And they fall in the place of the slain.” With all this His anger has not turned back, And His hand is still stretched out.
“Woe [to] Asshur, a rod of My anger, And My indignation [is] a staff in their hand.
6 ೬ ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಜನರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಬೀದಿಯ ಕೆಸರನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
I send him against a profane nation, And concerning a people of My wrath I charge him, To spoil spoil, and to seize prey, And to make it a treading-place as the clay of out places.
7 ೭ ಅವನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವೋ, ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂಬುದೇ ಹೊರತು ಈ ಯೋಚನೆಯು ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
And he does not think [it] so, And his heart does not reckon [it] so, For—to destroy [is] in his heart, And to cut off nations—not a few.
For he says, Are my princes not altogether kings?
9 ೯ ಕರ್ಕೆಮೀಷಿನ ಗತಿಯು ಕಲ್ನೋವಿಗೆ ಆಯಿತಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅರ್ಪದಿಗೆ ಆದ ಪಾಡು ಹಮಾತಿಗೂ ಬಂತಲ್ಲವೇ? ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಗತಿಯು ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತಲ್ಲವೇ?
Is not Calno as Carchemish? Is not Hamath as Arpad? Is not Samaria as Damascus?
10 ೧೦ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ವಿಶೇಷ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳುಳ್ಳ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ವಶವಾಗಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಕೈಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ,
As my hand has gotten to the kingdoms of a worthless thing, and their carved images, [Greater] than Jerusalem and than Samaria,
11 ೧೧ ಸಮಾರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೆಡವಲಾರೆನೋ?” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
Do I not—as I have done to Samaria, And to her worthless things, So do to Jerusalem and to her grievous things?”
12 ೧೨ ಆದಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ನಾನು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, “ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ರಾಜನ ಹೃದಯದ ದೊಡ್ಡಸ್ತಿಕೆಯ ಫಲಕ್ಕೂ, ಅವನ ಗರ್ವದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಮೆರೆದಾಟಕ್ಕೂ ತಕ್ಕ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು.”
And it has come to pass, When the Lord fulfills all His work In Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, I see concerning the fruit of the greatness Of the heart of the king of Asshur, And concerning the glory of the height of his eyes.
13 ೧೩ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಭುಜಬಲಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನೇ ವಿವೇಕವುಳ್ಳ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು, ಅವರ ನಿಧಿನಿಕ್ಷೇಪಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿ, ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಾರೂಢರನ್ನು ಮಹಾವೀರನಂತೆ ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
For he has said, “I have worked by the power of my hand, And by my wisdom, for I have been intelligent, And I remove borders of the peoples, And I have spoiled their chief ones, And I put down the inhabitants as a mighty one,
14 ೧೪ ಜನಗಳ ಆಸ್ತಿಪಾಸ್ತಿಯು ಗೂಡಿನಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಪಕ್ಷಿಯು ಇಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಂತೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯಾಡಿಸಿ, ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆದು ಕಿಚುಗುಟ್ಟುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
And my hand gets to the wealth of the peoples as to a nest, And as a gathering of forsaken eggs I have gathered all the earth, And there has not been one moving wing, Or opening mouth, or whispering.”
15 ೧೫ ಕೊಡಲಿಯು ಕಡಿಯುವವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡೀತೇ? ಗರಗಸವು ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೀತೇ? ಕೋಲು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಬೀಸುವಂತಾಯಿತು, ಮರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾಗಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ದೊಣ್ಣೆಯು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಾಗಾಯಿತು.
Does the axe glorify itself Against him who is hewing with it? Does the saw magnify itself Against him who is shaking it? As a rod waving those lifting it up! As a staff lifting up that which is not wood!
16 ೧೬ ಆದಕಾರಣ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಯವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವನು. ದಹಿಸುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಂತಿರುವ ಉರಿಯೊಂದು ಅವನ ವೈಭವದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
Therefore the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, Sends leanness among his fat ones, And under his glory He kindles a burning As the burning of a fire.
17 ೧೭ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪರಂಜ್ಯೋತಿಯು ದಹಿಸುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಾಗುವುದು. ಅವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನು ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಂತಿರುವನು. ಅದು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಿಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದು.
And the light of Israel has been for a fire, And his Holy One for a flame, And it has burned, and devoured his thorn And his brier in one day.
18 ೧೮ ಅದು ದೇಹಾತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸದೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ವನದ ಮತ್ತು ತೋಟದ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವುದು. ದೇಶವೋ ರೋಗಿಯಂತೆ ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದು.
And the glory of his forest, and his fruitful field, He consumes from soul even to flesh, And it has been as the fainting of a standard-bearer.
And the rest of the trees of his forest [are] few, And a youth writes them.
20 ೨೦ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಳಗೆ ಉಳಿದವರು, ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದವನ ಆಧಾರವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸದಮಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾಗಿ ಆಧಾರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
And it has come to pass in that day, The remnant of Israel, And the escaped of the house of Jacob, Do not add anymore to lean on its striker, And have leaned on YHWH, The Holy One of Israel, in truth.
A remnant returns—a remnant of Jacob, To the Mighty God.
22 ೨೨ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಉಸುಬಿನಂತೆ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು, ನ್ಯಾಯನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುವುದು.
For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, A remnant of it returns, A consumption determined, Overflowing [with] righteousness.
For a consumption that is determined, The Lord, YHWH of Hosts, Is making in the midst of all the land.
24 ೨೪ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ, ಐಗುಪ್ತರು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ದೊಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುವ ಅಶ್ಶೂರರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Therefore, thus said the Lord, YHWH of Hosts: “Do not be afraid, My people, inhabiting Zion, because of Asshur, He strikes you with a rod, And his staff lifts up against you, in the way of Egypt.
For yet a very little [while], And the indignation has been completed, And My anger by their wearing out.”
26 ೨೬ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಓರೇಬ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹತಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ, ಆತನು ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಾಚಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎತ್ತಿದಂತೆ ಎತ್ತುವನು.
And YHWH of Hosts is awaking for him, A scourge like the striking of Midian at the rock Oreb, And his rod [is] over the sea, And he has lifted it in the way of Egypt.
27 ೨೭ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ಹೊರಿಸಿದ ಹೊರೆಯು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆನ್ನಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಹೂಡಿದ ನೊಗವು ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ತೊಲಗುವುದು, ಮತ್ತು ನೀವು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಕಾರಣ ನೊಗವು ಮುರಿದು ಹೋಗುವುದು.
And it has come to pass in that day, His burden is turned from off your shoulder, And his yoke from off your neck, And the yoke has been destroyed, because of prosperity.
28 ೨೮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅಯ್ಯಾಥಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಂಡೆತ್ತಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಮಿಗ್ರೋನನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಮಿಕ್ಮಾಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
He has come in against Aiath, He has passed over into Migron, At Michmash he looks after his vessels.
29 ೨೯ ಕಣಿವೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಗೆಬದಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿಸುವ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ರಾಮಾ ನಡುಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಸೌಲನ ಗಿಬೆಯು ಓಡಿಹೋಯಿತು.
They have gone over the passage, They have made Geba a lodging place, Rama has trembled, Gibeah of Saul fled.
Cry aloud [with] your voice, daughter of Gallim, Give attention, Laish! Answer her, Anathoth.
Madmenah has fled away, The inhabitants of the high places have hardened themselves.
32 ೩೨ ಇದೇ ದಿನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನೋಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಡುಬಿಡುವರು. ಚೀಯೋನ್ ನಗರಿಯ ಪರ್ವತದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೈ ಬೀಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Yet today to remain in Nob, The mountain of the daughter of Zion waves its hand, The hill of Jerusalem.
33 ೩೩ ಆಹಾ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನು ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವನು. ಅವು ಧಡಮ್ಮನೆ ಬೀಳುವವು. ಉನ್ನತವಾದ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳು ಕಡಿದು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವವು. ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಮರಗಳು ನೆಲದ ಪಾಲಾಗುವವು.
Behold, the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, Is lopping a branch with violence, And the high of stature are cut down, And the lofty have become low,
34 ೩೪ ಆತನು ಅಡವಿಯ ಪೊದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೊಡಲಿಯಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವನು. ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ವನವು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವುದು.
And He has gone around the thickets of the forest with iron, And Lebanon falls by a mighty one!
