ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 15

1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,

And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,

2 ೨ “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗಿಡವು ಉಳಿದ ಗಿಡಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಎಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚು? ವನವೃಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯ ವಿಶೇಷವೇನು?

“Son of man, What is the vine-tree more than any tree? The vine-branch that has been, Among trees of the forest?

3 ೩ ಜನರು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡುವರೋ ಅಥವಾ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನಾದರೂ ನೇತು ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅದರಿಂದ ಗೂಟವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ?

Is wood taken from it to use for work? Do they take a pin of it to hang any vessel on it?

4 ೪ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸೌದೆಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವರು; ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅದರ ಎರಡು ಕೊನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದು, ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗವು ಇದ್ದಲಾಗಿ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

Behold, it has been given to the fire for fuel, The fire has eaten its two ends, And its midst has been scorched! Is it profitable for work?

5 ೫ ಅದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಇದ್ದಲಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೀತು?”

Behold, in its being perfect it is not used for work, How much less when fire has eaten of it, And it is scorched, Has it been used yet for work?”

6 ೬ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ವನ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗಿಡವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ಸೌದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರನ್ನು ವಿನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: “As the vine-tree among trees of the forest, That I have given to the fire for fuel, So I have given the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

7 ೭ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನಿಡುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದು; ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನಿಡುವಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.

And I have set My face against them, They have gone forth from the fire, And the fire consumes them, And you have known that I [am] YHWH, In My setting My face against them.

8 ೮ ಅವರು ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವೆನು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.

And I have made the land a desolation, Because they have committed a trespass,” A declaration of Lord YHWH!
