7 ೭ ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಲ ಹೊಂದಿದರು. ಆ ದೇಶವು ಅವರಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಹೋಯಿತು.

9 ೯ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮಗಿಂತ ಬಹಳ ಬಲಶಾಲಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನೋಡಿರಿ.
and to say to(wards) people his behold people son: descendant/people Israel many and mighty from us
10 ೧೦ ನಮಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧವೇನಾದರೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು, ನಮಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದಾರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನಾವು ಉಪಾಯ ಮಾಡೋಣ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ

11 ೧೧ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟೀ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಬಿಟ್ಟೀಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಫರೋಹನನಿಗೆ ಪಿತೋಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮ್ಸೇಸ್ ಎಂಬ ಉಗ್ರಾಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
and to set: appoint upon him ruler taskworker because to afflict him in/on/with burden their and to build city storage to/for Pharaoh [obj] Pithom and [obj] Raamses
12 ೧೨ ಐಗುಪ್ತರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಉಪದ್ರವಪಡಿಸಿದಷ್ಟೂ, ಅವರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಐಗುಪ್ತರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾದರು.

14 ೧೪ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ವ್ಯವಸಾಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧವಾದ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ದುಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಜೀವಿತವನ್ನೇ ಬೇಸರಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಐಗುಪ್ತರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.

15 ೧೫ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನು “ಶಿಪ್ರಾ” ಮತ್ತು “ಪೂಗಾ” ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಸೂಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
and to say king Egypt to/for to beget [the] Hebrew which name [the] one Shiphrah and name [the] second Puah
16 ೧೬ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಹೆಂಗಸರಿಗೆ ಹೆರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಸುವಾಗ ಅವರು ಹೆರುವ ಮಗುವು ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿರಿ, ಹೆಣ್ಣಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಬದುಕಲು ಬಿಡಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

17 ೧೭ ಆದರೆ ಸೂಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯರು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಐಗುಪ್ತರ ಅರಸನ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಉಳಿಸಿದರು.
and to fear: revere [the] to beget [obj] [the] God and not to make: do like/as as which to speak: speak to(wards) them king Egypt and to live [obj] [the] youth
18 ೧೮ ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನು ಸೂಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, “ನೀವು ಅವರ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇನು? ಹೀಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
and to call: call to king Egypt to/for to beget and to say to/for them why? to make: do [the] word: thing [the] this and to live [obj] [the] youth
19 ೧೯ ಸೂಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯರು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ, “ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅವರು ಬಹು ಚುರುಕು ಬುದ್ಧಿಯವರು. ಸೂಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯು ಅವರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೆರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

20 ೨೦ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಆ ಸೂಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಬಹಳ ಬಲಗೊಂಡರು.
and be good God to/for to beget and to multiply [the] people and be vast much
21 ೨೧ ಸೂಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯರು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಂಶಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ಬಲಗೊಂಡರು.
and to be for to fear: revere [the] to beget [obj] [the] God and to make: offer to/for them house: household
22 ೨೨ ತರುವಾಯ ಫರೋಹನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ, “ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ಗಂಡು ಕೂಸುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು, ಹೆಣ್ಣುಕೂಸುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉಳಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
and to command Pharaoh to/for all people his to/for to say all [the] son: child [the] born [the] Nile [to] to throw him and all [the] daughter to live [emph?]
