ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 24
1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನೀನು, ಆರೋನ್, ನಾದಾಬ್, ಅಬೀಹೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು.
And he said to Moses, Go up to Jehovah, thou and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship afar off.
2 ೨ ಮೋಶೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬಾರದು. ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಜನರು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಲೇಬಾರದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And let Moses alone come near Jehovah; but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.
3 ೩ ಮೋಶೆ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುವೆವು” ಎಂದು ಒಕ್ಕೊರಳಿನಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
And Moses came and told the people all the words of Jehovah, and all the judgments; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words that Jehovah has said will we do!
4 ೪ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೆದಿಟ್ಟನು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತಪ್ಪಲಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕುಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
And Moses wrote all the words of Jehovah, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 ೫ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
And he sent the youths of the children of Israel, and they offered up burnt-offerings, and sacrificed sacrifices of peace-offering of bullocks to Jehovah.
6 ೬ ಅನಂತರ ಮೋಶೆ ಆ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಟ್ಟಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
And Moses took half the blood, and put [it] in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7 ೭ ತರುವಾಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಓದಿದನು. ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿ, “ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾವು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವೆವು” ಅಂದರು.
And he took the book of the covenant, and read [it] in the ears of the people; and they said, All that Jehovah has said will we do, and obey!
8 ೮ ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿ, “ಇಗೋ ಈ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತವು ಇದೇ” ಅಂದನು.
And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant that Jehovah has made with you concerning all these words.
And Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up;
10 ೧೦ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು. ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರು. ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದಂತೆ ಅತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದ ಇಂದ್ರನೀಲಮಣಿಯ ನೆಲಗಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಪಾದಪೀಠವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
and they saw the God of Israel; and there was under his feet as it were work of transparent sapphire, and as it were the form of heaven for clearness.
And on the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: they saw God, and ate and drank.
12 ೧೨ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರು. ನೀನು ಆ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಶಿಲಾಶಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Come up to me into the mountain, and be there; and I will give thee the tables of stone, and the law, and the commandment that I have written, for their instruction.
And Moses rose up, and Joshua his attendant; and Moses went up to the mountain of God.
14 ೧೪ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಅವನು ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ತಿರುಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಿ. ಆರೋನನು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂರನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವರು. ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಿದ್ದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And he said to the elders, Wait here for us, until we return to you; and behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matter, let him come before them.
And Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
16 ೧೬ ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಸೀನಾಯಿಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಮೇಘವು ಆರು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೇಘದೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿ ಕರೆದನು.
And the glory of Jehovah abode on mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days; and on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain, before the eyes of the children of Israel.
18 ೧೮ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ಮೇಘದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿದನು. ಅವನು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿನ ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದನು.
And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and ascended the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
