ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 12
Then spake Yahweh, unto Moses and unto Aaron, in the land of Egypt saying—
This month, is, to you, a beginning of months, —the first, it is, to you, of the months of the year.
3 ೩ ಇದರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೀಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ‘ಈ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಯವರು ಒಂದೊಂದು ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಆಡುಮರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
Speak ye unto all the assembly of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month, then let them take to them, each man a lamb for his ancestral household, a lamb for a household.
4 ೪ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಒಂದು ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗದೆ ಹೋದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ಎಷ್ಟೆಷ್ಟು ತಿನ್ನುವನೆಂದು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜನಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾನುಸಾರ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
But if the household be too small for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbour that is near unto his house take one, according to the number of souls, —each man according to his eating, shall ye number for the lamb.
5 ೫ ಆ ಮರಿಯು ಊನವಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಗಂಡುಮರಿಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ನೀವು ಕುರಿಗಳಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಆಡುಗಳಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
A lamb without defect a male a year old, shall yours be, —from the sheep or from the goats, shall ye take it.
6 ೬ ಈ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಆ ದಿನದ ಸಂಜೆ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಬೇಕು.
So shall it be yours, to keep, until the fourteenth day of this month, —then shall all the convocation of the assembly of Israel slay it between the two evenings.
7 ೭ ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ತಾವು ಆ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಮನೆಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಎರಡು ನಿಲುವುಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿಗೂ, ಮೇಲಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಹಚ್ಚಬೇಕು.
And they shall take of the blood, and put upon the two door-posts and upon the upper-beam, —upon the houses wherein they are to eat it.
8 ೮ ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಭೋಜನಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಕಹಿಯಾದ ಸೊಪ್ಪಿನ ಪಲ್ಯಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
Then shall they eat the flesh, in the same night, —roast with fire, and with unleavened cakes, with bitter herbs, shall they eat it.
9 ೯ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಸಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಯಿಸಿಯೂ ತಿನ್ನಕೂಡದು. ಅದರ ತಲೆ, ತೊಡೆ, ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ, ಇವುಗಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಸುಟ್ಟು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.
Do not eat of it underdone, nor cooked by boiling in water, —but roast with fire, its head with its legs, and with its inward parts.
10 ೧೦ ಮರುದಿನದ ಬೆಳಗಿನವರೆಗೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವನ್ನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಸಕೂಡದು, ಬೆಳಗಿನವರೆಗೆ ಉಳಿದದ್ದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕು.
And ye shall let nothing thereof remain until morning, —but that which is left remaining until morning, in the fire shall ye consume.
11 ೧೧ ಆ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಕ್ರಮ ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ: ನೀವು ನಡುವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕೆರವನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕೋಲುಹಿಡಿದು, ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಪಸ್ಕಹಬ್ಬವು.
And, thus, shall ye eat it, —your loins, girded, your sandals, on your feet, and, your staff, in your hand, —so shall ye eat it in haste, it is Yahweh’s, passing over.
12 ೧೨ ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆನು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು.
I will pass along, therefore, throughout the land of Egypt this night, and will smite every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from man even to beast, —and against all the gods of Egypt, will I execute judgments—I, Yahweh.
13 ೧೩ ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆಗಳ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿರುವ ರಕ್ತವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುವಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ನಷ್ಟವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದೇ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯದವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ಹಾನಿಯೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Then shall the blood serve you for a sign, on the houses wherein ye are, then will I behold the blood, and will pass over you, —and there shall be among you no plague to destroy, when I smite the land of Egypt.
14 ೧೪ ಈ ದಿನವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಘನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತನಿಯಮವೆಂದು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.
So shall this day serve you for a memorial, and ye shall celebrate it, as a festival to Yahweh, —to your generations—as an age-abiding statute, shall ye celebrate it.
15 ೧೫ “‘ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹುಳಿಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಹುಳಿರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
Seven days, unleavened cakes, shall ye eat, surely, on the first day, shall ye put away leaven, out of your houses, —for whosoever eateth what is leavened, then shall that soul be cut off out of Israel, from the first day, unto the seventh day.
16 ೧೬ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವಾರಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಸಭೆ ಸೇರಬೇಕು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇವಾರಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಸಭೆ ಸೇರಬೇಕು. ಈ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಕೂಡದು. ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡಬಹುದೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
Both on the first day, a holy convocation, and on the seventh day—a holy convocation, shall there be to you, —no work, shall be done therein, save only what must be eaten by every soul, that alone, shall be done by you.
17 ೧೭ ನೀವು ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೂ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿದೆ.
So then ye shall observe the unleavened cakes, because on this self-same day, brought I forth your hosts out of the land of Egypt, —so then ye shall observe this day to your generations, as a statute age-abiding,
18 ೧೮ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ದಿನದ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅದೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂದನೆಯ ದಿನದ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದವರೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೇ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, shall ye eat unleavened cakes, —until the one-and-twentieth day of the month in the evening,
19 ೧೯ ಆ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿಹಿಟ್ಟು ಇರಬಾರದು. ಹುಳಿ ಬೆರಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತಿನ್ನುವರೋ ಅವನು ಪರದೇಶದವನಾಗಲಿ, ಸ್ವದೇಶದವನಾಗಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ ಸಮೂಹದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
For seven days, leaven, shall not be found in your houses, —for, whosoever eateth what is leavened, then shall that soul be cut off out of the assembly of Israel, whether sojourner or native of the land.
20 ೨೦ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕೇ ಹೊರತು, ಹುಳಿಕಲಸಿದ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನಕೂಡದು’” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
Nothing leavened, shall ye eat, —in all your dwellings, shall ye eat unleavened cakes.
21 ೨೧ ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪಸ್ಕಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಯ್ಯಿರಿ.
So then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, —Proceed and take for yourselves one of the flock according to your families, and slay the passover.
22 ೨೨ ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪ್ ಗಿಡದ ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬೋಗುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅದ್ದಿ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅಡ್ಡಪಟ್ಟಿಗೂ, ಅದರ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎರಡು ನಿಲುವುಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಹಚ್ಚಬೇಕು. ತರುವಾಯ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಬೆಳಗಾಗುವವರೆಗೆ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಬಾರದು.
Then shall ye take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and strike the upper beam and the two door-posts, with the blood which is in the basin, —and, ye, shall not go forth any man out of the entrance of his house, until morning,
23 ೨೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹತಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಶದ ನಡುವೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವನು. ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಮೇಲಣ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಎರಡು ನಿಲುವು ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗುವನು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣ ತೆಗೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಹಾರಕನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
And Yahweh will pass along to plague the Egyptians, and when he beholdeth the blood upon the upper beam and upon the two door-posts, then will Yahweh pass over the entrance, and not suffer the destroyer to enter into your houses to inflict on you the plague.
And ye shall observe this thing, —for a statute to thee and to thy sons unto times age-abiding.
And so it shall come to pass when ye shall enter into the land which Yahweh will give you as he hath spoken, —and ye shall observe this service;
and it shall come to pass that your sons shall say unto you, —What is this your service?
27 ೨೭ ನೀವು ಅವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಯೆಹೋವನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸದೆ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಟಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಪಸ್ಕವೆಂಬ ಈ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು’” ಎಂದನು. ಆಗ ಜನರು ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು.
Then shall ye say—A passover sacrifice, it is to Yahweh, who passed-over the houses of the sons of Israel, in Egypt, when he plagued the Egyptians but our houses, he delivered. Then did the people bend their heads and bow themselves down.
And the sons of Israel went their way and did, —as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so, did they.
29 ೨೯ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫರೋಹನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಗನು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸೆರೆಯವನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಗನವರೆಗೂ, ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಪಶುಗಳ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹಾರಮಾಡಿದನು.
And it came to pass, at midnight, that Yahweh, smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat upon his throne, unto the firstborn of the captive who was in the pit of his prison, —and every firstborn of beasts.
30 ೩೦ ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋಹನೂ, ಅವನ ಪರಿವಾರದವರೂ, ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಎದ್ದು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಸಾವಿಲ್ಲದ ಮನೆ ಒಂದೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗೋಳಾಟವಾಯಿತು.
Then rose up Pharaoh by night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians, and there arose a great outcry throughout Egypt, —for there was not a house, where there was not one dead.
31 ೩೧ ಫರೋಹನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಎದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿರಿ.
So he called for Moses and for Aaron by night and said—Rise ye, go forth out of the midst of my people, both ye and the sons of Israel, —and go serve Yahweh according to your word;
32 ೩೨ ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿದನಗಳ ಹಿಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿರಿ. ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿರಿ” ಎಂದನು.
also, your flocks and your herds, take ye, as ye spake and go your way, —so shall ye bless, even me.
33 ೩೩ ಐಗುಪ್ತರು, “ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬೇಗನೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತಮಾಡಿದರು.
And the Egyptians became urgent with the people, to send them in haste out of the land, —for they said—We all, are dying.
34 ೩೪ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಹಿಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹುಳಿಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ನಾದುವ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಕಣಕದ ಮುದ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಂಟುಕಟ್ಟಿ ಹೆಗಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.
So the people took up their dough, ere yet it was leavened, —with their kneading-bowls, bound up in their mantles on their shoulders,
35 ೩೫ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮಾತಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಂದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಒಡವೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
And the sons of Israel, did according to the word of Moses, —and asked of the Egyptians, articles of silver and articles of gold and mantles.
36 ೩೬ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತರು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
And Yahweh, gave the people favour in the eyes of the Egyptians and they gave them gladly, —so they spoiled the Egyptians.
37 ೩೭ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ರಾಮ್ಸೇಸ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಸುಕ್ಕೋತಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಹೆಂಗಸರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಂಡಸರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸುಮಾರು ಆರುಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದರು.
Then did the sons of Israel break up from Rameses, towards Succoth, —about six hundred thousand foot of men grown, besides little ones.
Moreover also, a mixed multitude, came up with them, —flocks also, and herds, exceeding much cattle,
39 ೩೯ ಅವರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ತಂದ ನಾದಿದ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದರೂ ಸಮಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕದೆ ಹೋದದರಿಂದ ಕಣಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Then baked they the dough which they had brought out of Egypt—into round unleavened cakes for it had not been leavened, —for they had been driven out of Egypt and could not tarry, and indeed no provisions, had they made ready for themselves.
Now, the time during which the sons of Israel dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
41 ೪೧ ನಾನೂರಮೂವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಳೆದನಂತರ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದವು.
And it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, yea it came to pass, on this self-same day, that all the hosts of Yahweh had come forth out of the land of Egypt.
42 ೪೨ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಈ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಘನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜಾಗರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಜಾಗರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಇದೇ ಆಗಿದೆ.
A night of solemn observances, it is unto Yahweh, for bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt, —this same night, pertaineth to Yahweh, for solemn observances by all the sons of Israel to their generations.
43 ೪೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಕ್ರಮ ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ಅನ್ಯನೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭೋಜನ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
And Yahweh said unto Moses and Aaron: This, is the statute of the passover, —No stranger, shall eat thereof;
but, every man’s servant bought with silver, —when thou hast circumcised him, then, shall he eat thereof:
An alien or a hireling, shall not eat thereof.
46 ೪೬ ಅವರವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು. ಆ ಪಶುವಿನ ಒಂದು ಎಲುಬನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುರಿಯಬಾರದು.
In one house, shall it be eaten, thou shalt not take forth out of the house any of the flesh outside; and a, bone thereof, shalt thou not break.
All the assembly of Israel, shall keep it.
48 ೪೮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರದೇಶದವನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಈ ಪಸ್ಕಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನೂ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿರುವ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮೀಪ ಬರಲಿ. ಅಂಥವನು ಸ್ವದೇಶದವನಂತೆಯೇ ಇರುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದವನು ಆ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
And when there may sojourn with thee a sojourner who may wish to keep a passover to Yahweh, there must be circumcised to him every male and then, may he draw near to keep it, so shall he be as a native of the land, —but no uncircumcised male, shall eat thereof.
One law, shall there be for the native, and for the sojourner that sojourneth in your midst.
Thus did all the sons of Israel, —as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so, did they.
And it came to pass, on this self-same day, that Yahweh brought forth the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, by their hosts.
