ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 27
1 ೧ ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಹಿತ ಜನರಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀವು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು.
Moses and the Israelite elders of Israel gave these instructions to the people: Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.
2 ೨ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಾಗ ನೀವು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಿಲಾವು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
The day you cross the Jordan into the country the Lord your God is giving you, set up some large stones and paint them with whitewash.
3 ೩ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಾನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಾಗ ಈ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆಯಿಸಬೇಕು.
Then write all these laws on them once you've crossed over to enter the country that the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your forefathers, promised you.
4 ೪ ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದ ನಂತರ ನಾನು ಈಗ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಏಬಾಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಿಲಾವು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
After you've crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, having painted them with whitewash, as I've ordered you to do today.
Also build a stone altar there to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Don't use any stone tools in its construction.
Build the altar of the Lord your God with uncut stones and sacrifice burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God.
7 ೭ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಸಹಭೋಜನಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕು.
That is also where you are to sacrifice and eat your peace offerings, celebrating in the presence of the Lord your God.
Write all these laws clearly on the stones.
9 ೯ ಮೋಶೆ, ಯಾಜಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರೊಡನೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ, ನಿಶ್ಯಬ್ದವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ನೀವು ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಷ್ಟೆ.
Moses and the Levitical priests gave these orders to all the Israelites: “Be quiet, people of Israel, and listen! Today you have become the people of the Lord your God.
10 ೧೦ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
So obey what the Lord your God tells you, and follow commandments and regulations that I'm giving you today.”
That day Moses gave these orders to the people:
12 ೧೨ “ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದಾಗ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್, ಲೇವಿ, ಯೆಹೂದ, ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್, ಯೋಸೇಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಕುಲಗಳವರು ಗೆರಿಜ್ಜೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.
After you've crossed the Jordan, the following tribes are to stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
13 ೧೩ ರೂಬೇನ್, ಗಾದ್, ಆಶೇರ್, ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್, ದಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಕುಲಗಳವರು ಏಬಾಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಶಾಪೋಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.
The following tribes are to stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
Then the Levites will shout in a loud voice so Israelite can hear:
15 ೧೫ ‘ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯ ಕೆಲಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಮರದ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಹವಿಗ್ರಹ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದುದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, ‘ಆಮೆನ್’” ಅನ್ನಬೇಕು.
“A curse on anyone who makes a carved image or a metal idol and worships it in secret. It's only an object that someone made, and it's offensive to the Lord!” Everyone says “Amen!”
“A curse on anyone who dishonors their father or mother.” Everyone says “Amen!”
“A curse on anyone who moves their neighbor's boundary stone!” Everyone says “Amen!”
“A curse on anyone who allows a blind man to wander in the road!” Everyone says “Amen!”
19 ೧೯ “ಅವರು, ಪರದೇಶಿ, ಅನಾಥ, ಇವರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತೀರ್ಪುಹೇಳಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್” ಅನ್ನಬೇಕು.
“A curse on anyone who doesn't treat foreigners, the orphans, and widows fairly!” Everyone says “Amen!”
20 ೨೦ “ಅವರು, ಮಲತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಗಮಿಸಿ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್” ಅನ್ನಬೇಕು.
“A curse on any man who sleeps with his father's wife, for he has disgraced his father!” Everyone says “Amen!”
“A curse on anyone who has sex with any animal!” Everyone says “Amen!”
22 ೨೨ “ಅವರು, ತಂದೆಯ ಮಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಸಂಗಮಿಸಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್” ಅನ್ನಬೇಕು.
“A curse on any man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother!” Everyone says “Amen!”
“A curse on any man who sleeps with his mother-in-law!” Everyone says “Amen!”
“A curse on anyone who secretly attacks his neighbor!” Everyone says “Amen!”
25 ೨೫ “ಅವರು, ಹಣ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು” ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್” ಅನ್ನಬೇಕು.
“A curse on anyone who accepts a bribe to kill someone who's innocent!” Everyone says “Amen!”
26 ೨೬ “ಅವರು, ಈ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವಾಕ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಡಂಬಟ್ಟು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುವವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್” ಅನ್ನಬೇಕು.
“A curse on anyone who doesn't carefully obey all these laws by keeping them!” Everyone says “Amen!”
