ಸಮುವೇಲನು - ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಗ 13
1 ೧ ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೆ ತಾಮಾರಳೆಂಬ ಬಹು ಸುಂದರಿಯಾದ ಒಬ್ಬಳು ತಂಗಿಯಿದ್ದಳು. ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮೋಹಿಸಿದನು.
Now after this so it was, that Absalom the sonne of Dauid hauing a fayre sister, whose name was Tamar, Amnon the sonne of Dauid loued her.
2 ೨ ಅವನು ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮೋಹದಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದನು. ತಾಮಾರಳು ಕನ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ತಿಳಿದನು.
And Amnon was so sore vexed, that he fell sicke for his sister Tamar: for she was a virgin, and it seemed hard to Amnon to doe any thing to her.
But Amnon had a friend called Ionadab, the sonne of Shimeah Dauids brother: and Ionadab was a very subtile man.
4 ೪ ಬಹು ಯುಕ್ತಿವಂತನಾದ ಇವನು ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಅಮ್ನೋನನನ್ನು, “ರಾಜಪುತ್ರನೇ ನೀನು ದಿನೇ ದಿನೇ ಕ್ಷೀಣನಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬರುವುದೇಕೆ? ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವನು, “ನನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ತಂಗಿ ತಾಮಾರಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನನಗೆ ಮೋಹ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Who sayde vnto him, Why art thou the Kings sonne so leane from day to day? wilt thou not tell me? Then Amnon answered him, I loue Tamar my brother Absaloms sister.
5 ೫ ಆಗ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದವನಂತೆ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿಕೋ. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ, ‘ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಆಹಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸು. ಆಕೆ ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ, ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೇ ಊಟಮಾಡಿಸಲಿ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು” ಎಂದನು.
And Ionadab sayd vnto him, Lie downe on thy bed, and make thy selfe sicke: and when thy father shall come to see thee, say vnto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and giue me meate, and let her dresse meate in my sight, that I may see it, and eate it of her hand.
6 ೬ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದವನಂತೆ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅರಸನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸು. ಆಕೆ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವುದಾದರೆ ಊಟಮಾಡುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
So Amnon lay downe, and made himselfe sicke: and when the King came to see him, Amnon sayde vnto the King, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may receiue meate at her hand.
7 ೭ ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Then Dauid sent home to Tamar, saying, Goe now to thy brother Amnons house, and dresse him meate.
8 ೮ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದಳು. ಅವನು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದನು. ಆಕೆಯು ಹೋಗಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಾದಿ, ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಳು.
So Tamar went to her brother Amnons house, and he lay downe: and she tooke floure, and knead it, and made cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes.
9 ೯ ಅನಂತರ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು, ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಳು. ಅವನು ಊಟಮಾಡದೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
And she tooke a pan, and powred them out before him, but he would not eat. Then Amnon saide, Cause ye euery man to goe out from me: so euery man went out from him.
10 ೧೦ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ತಾಮಾರಳಿಗೆ, “ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಈ ಕೋಣೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ; ನೀನಾಗಿ ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ತಾಮಾರಳು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನಿದ್ದ ಕೋಣೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಳು.
Then Amnon said vnto Tamar, Bring the meate into the chamber, that I may eate of thine hand. And Tamar tooke the cakes which shee had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.
And when she had set them before him to eate, he tooke her, and sayd vnto her, Come, lye with me, my sister.
12 ೧೨ ಆಕೆಯು; “ಅಣ್ಣನೇ, ಬೇಡ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪಮಾನಪಡಿಸಬೇಡ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥ ನೀಚಕಾರ್ಯವು ನಡೆಯಬಾರದು. ಇಂಥ ಅವಮಾನಕರವಾದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಡ.
But shee answered him, Nay, my brother, doe not force me: for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: commit not this follie.
13 ೧೩ ಈ ಅಪಮಾನವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುವುದಾದರೂ ಹೇಗೆ? ನಿನಗಂತೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಚನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ತಪ್ಪದು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡದಿರಲಾರನು” ಎಂದಳು.
And I, whither shall I cause my shame to goe? and thou shalt be as one of the fooles in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, speake to the King, for he will not denie me vnto thee.
Howbeit he would not hearken vnto her voyce, but being stronger then she, forced her, and lay with her.
15 ೧೫ ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದ್ವೇಷಹುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಅವಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗಿಂತ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ದ್ವೇಷವೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಯಿತು.
Then Amnon hated her exceedingly, so that the hatred wherewith he hated her, was greater then the loue, wherewith hee had loued her: and Amnon sayde vnto her, Vp, get thee hence.
16 ೧೬ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, “ಎದ್ದು ಹೋಗು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು, “ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ” ಅಂದಳು.
And she answered him, There is no cause: this euill (to put mee away) is greater then the other that thou diddest vnto me: but he would not heare her,
17 ೧೭ ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಆಕೆಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ, ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಇವಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿ ಕದವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
But called his seruant that serued him, and sayd, Put this woman now out from me, and locke the doore after her.
18 ೧೮ ಆಕೆಯು ನಾನಾ ವರ್ಣವುಳ್ಳ ಒಂದು ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು. ಕನ್ಯೆಯರಾದ ರಾಜಪುತ್ರಿಯರು ಇದೇ ತರಹದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆತನ ಸೇವಕರು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಕದವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದನು.
(And she had a garment of diuers coulours vpon her: for with such garments were the Kings daughters that were virgins, apparelled) Then his seruant brought her out, and locked the doore after her.
19 ೧೯ ತಾಮಾರಳು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೂದಿ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ಗೋಳಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದಳು.
And Tamar put ashes on her head and rent the garment of diuers colours which was on her, and layde her hand on her head, and went her way crying.
20 ೨೦ ಆಕೆಯ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, “ನಿನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂಗಮಿಸಿದನೋ? ತಂಗಿ, ಈಗ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು. ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಲ್ಲವೋ? ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ತಾಮಾರಳು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದಳು.
And Absalom her brother sayd vnto her, Hath Amnon thy brother bene with thee? Now yet be still, my sister: he is thy brother: let not this thing grieue thine heart. So Tamar remayned desolate in her brother Absaloms house.
But when King Dauid heard all these things, he was very wroth.
22 ೨೨ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಆಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತನ್ನ ತಂಗಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಅಮ್ನೋನನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿದನು.
And Absalom sayde vnto his brother Amnon neither good nor bad: for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.
23 ೨೩ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾದ ನಂತರ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಳ್ ಹಾಚೋರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುರಿಗಳ ಉಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಪುತ್ರರನ್ನು ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದನು.
And after the time of two yeeres, Absalom had sheepesherers in Baal-hazor, which is beside Ephraim, and Absalom called all the Kings sonnes.
24 ೨೪ ಅವನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು, “ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಕುರಿಗಳ ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರೊಡನೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And Absalom came to the King and sayd, Beholde now, thy seruant hath sheepesherers: I pray thee, that the King with his seruants would goe with thy seruant.
25 ೨೫ ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಮಗನೇ ಬೇಡ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಭಾರವಾದೀತು” ಅನ್ನಲು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೂ ಅರಸನು ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು ಅಷ್ಟೇ.
But the King answered Absalom, Nay my sonne, I pray thee, let vs not goe all, lest we be chargeable vnto thee. Yet Absalom lay sore vpon him: howbeit he would not go, but thanked him.
26 ೨೬ ಆಗ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು, “ನೀನು ಬಾರದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು” ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು, “ಅವನೇಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
Then sayd Absalom, But, I pray thee, shall not my brother Amnon goe with vs? And the king answered him, Why should he go with thee?
27 ೨೭ ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನು ಅಮ್ನೋನನನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಬೇರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
But Absalom was instant vpon him, and he sent Amnon with him, and all the Kings children.
28 ೨೮ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳುಗಳಿಗೆ, “ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಕುಡಿದು ಮತ್ತನಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಹೊಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದವನು ನಾನಲ್ಲವೇ? ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶೂರರಾಗಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Now had Absalom commanded his seruants, saying, Marke now when Amnons heart is merry with wine, and when I say vnto you, Smite Amnon, kill him, feare not, for haue not I commanded you? be bold therefore, and play the men.
29 ೨೯ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಆಳುಗಳು ಅವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರು. ರಾಜಪುತ್ರರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೇಸರಗತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
And the seruantes of Absalom did vnto Amnon, as Absalom had commanded: and al the Kings sonnes arose, and euery man gate him vp vpon his mule, and fled.
30 ೩೦ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ, “ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ರಾಜಪುತ್ರರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದನು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು.
And while they were in the way, tydings came to Dauid, saying, Absalom hath slaine al the Kings sonnes, and there is not one of them left.
31 ೩೧ ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿಂತರು.
Then the King arose, and tare his garments, and lay on the ground, and all his seruants stoode by with their clothes rent.
32 ೩೨ ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಶಿಮ್ಮನ ಮಗ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ, “ರಾಜಪುತ್ರರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ನೆನಸದಿರಲಿ. ಅಮ್ನೋನನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಸತ್ತಿರಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ತಂಗಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಹೀಗಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮುಖದಿಂದಲೇ ತೋರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
And Ionadab the sonne of Shimeah Dauids brother answered and sayde, Let not my lord suppose that they haue slayne all the yong men the Kings sonnes: for Amnon onely is dead, because Absalom had reported so, since hee forced his sister Tamar.
33 ೩೩ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ರಾಜಪುತ್ರರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸತ್ತರೆಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೆ ಅರಸನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕೊಡದಿರಲಿ. ಅಮ್ನೋನನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನಷ್ಟೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಸಂತೈಸಿದನು.
Nowe therefore let not my lord the King take the thing so grieuously, to thinke that all ye Kings sonnes are dead: for Amnon only is dead.
34 ೩೪ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಓಡಿಹೋದನು. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ದಾರಿನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು, ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪು ಹೋರೋನಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಗುಡ್ಡ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
Then Absalom fled: and the yong man that kept the watch, lift vp his eyes, and looked, and behold, there came much people by the way of the hill side behinde him.
35 ೩೫ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ಇಗೋ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರರು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆಯೆ ಆಯಿತಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಮುಗಿಸುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ,
And Ionadab said vnto the King, Behold, ye Kings sonnes come: as thy seruant sayd, so it is.
And assoone as hee had left speaking, behold, the Kings sonnes came, and lift vp their voyces, and wept: and the King also and all his seruants wept exceedingly sore.
But Absalom fled away, and went to Talmai the sonne of Ammihur King of Geshur: and Dauid mourned for his sonne euery day.
38 ೩೮ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಗೆಷೂರಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಅಮ್ಮೀಹೂದನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ತಲ್ಮೈಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷ ಇದ್ದನು.
So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three yeeres.
39 ೩೯ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮರಣದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆದರಣೆಹೊಂದಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಹಳ ಆಸೆಪಟ್ಟನು.
And King Dauid desired to go forth vnto Absalom, because he was pacified concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.
