ಅರಸುಗಳು - ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಗ 24
1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದನು. ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನನಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾದ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದನು.
In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2 ೨ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ, ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯ ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
The LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Arameans, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the people of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servants the prophets.
3 ೩ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗಳ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸದೆ ಹೋದನು.
Surely at the commandment of the LORD this came on Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,
4 ೪ ಅವುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸದೆ ತನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and the LORD would not pardon.
5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ (ಇತಿಹಾಸ) ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers; and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.
7 ೭ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಕಣಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿವರೆಗೂ ಇದ್ದ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅನಂತರ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
The king of Egypt did not come again out of his land any more; for the king of Babylon had taken, from the Wadi of Egypt to the river Perath, all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
8 ೮ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನು ಅರಸನಾದಾಗ ಅವನು ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಳಿದನು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಎಲ್ನಾತಾನನ ಮಗಳಾದ ನೆಹುಷ್ಟಾ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯು ಇವನ ತಾಯಿ.
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned in Jerusalem three months: and his mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.
10 ೧೦ ಇವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಸೈನ್ಯದವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11 ೧೧ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಸೈನ್ಯದವರು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನೂ ಬಂದನು.
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to the city, while his servants were besieging it;
12 ೧೨ ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಪರಿವಾರದವರು, ಸೇನಾಪತಿಗಳು, ಕಂಚುಕಿಗಳು ಇವರೊಡನೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಇವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದನು.
and Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his officers, and his officers. And the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13 ೧೩ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಸನ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಭಂಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಲೆಬಾಳುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
He carried out there all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold, which Solomon king of Israel had made in the LORD's temple, as the LORD had said.
14 ೧೪ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಭಟರನ್ನೂ, ಕಮ್ಮಾರರನ್ನೂ, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು ತನ್ನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬಡವರು ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
He carried away all Jerusalem, and all the officials, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, except the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15 ೧೫ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀನನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ, ಹೆಂಡತಿ, ಕಂಚುಕಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡುಹೋದನು.
He carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16 ೧೬ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಭಟರನ್ನೂ, ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಕಮ್ಮಾರರನ್ನೂ, ಬಡಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳೂ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
All the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths one thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
17 ೧೭ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನಾದ ಮತ್ತನ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವವನನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
The king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's father's brother, king is his place, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
18 ೧೮ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಳಿದನು. ಲಿಬ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದವನಾದ, ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಹಮೂಟಲ್ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯು ಇವನ ತಾಯಿ.
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
20 ೨೦ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬೇರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಷ್ಟು ರೋಷವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಆದರೆ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದನು.
For through the anger of the LORD, it happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
