ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಗ 11
1 ೧ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದ ನಂತರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ತನ್ನ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಕುಲಗಳಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷದ ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದನು.
And he came Rehoboam Jerusalem and he called together [the] house of Judah and Benjamin one hundred and eighty thousand chosen [man] maker[s] of war to do battle with Israel to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Shemaiah [the] man of God saying.
Say to Rehoboam [the] son of Solomon [the] king of Judah and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin saying.
4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಾರದು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು’” ಎಂಬ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯವುಂಟಾಗಲು ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡದೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದರು.
Thus he says Yahweh not you must go up and not you must do battle with countrymen your return everyone to own house his for from with me it has occurred the thing this and they obeyed [the] words of Yahweh and they turned back from going against Jeroboam.
And he dwelt Rehoboam in Jerusalem and he built cities to fortification in Judah.
And he built Beth-lehem and Etam and Tekoa.
And Beth Zur and Socoh and Adullam.
And Gath and Mareshah and Ziph.
And Adoraim and Lachish and Azekah.
And Zorah and Aijalon and Hebron which [were] in Judah and in Benjamin cities of fortifications.
11 ೧೧ ಅವನು ಈ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿ, ನಾಯಕರ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಪ್ರತಿ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹಾರಪದಾರ್ಥ, ಎಣ್ಣೆ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಟ್ಟನು. ಗುರಾಣಿ ಬರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಟ್ಟನು.
And he strengthened the fortifications and he put in them commanders and supplies of food and oil and wine.
12 ೧೨ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರಾಣಿ ಬರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಕುಲಗಳು ಅವನ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವು.
And [were] in every city and a city body shields and spears and he made strong them to abundance exceedingly and it belonged to him Judah and Benjamin.
And the priests and the Levites who [were] in all Israel they took their stand at him from all territory their.
14 ೧೪ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಜಕ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳಿದ್ದ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಬಂದರು.
For they forsook the Levites pasture lands their and property their and they went to Judah and to Jerusalem for he had rejected them Jeroboam and sons his from serving as priests to Yahweh.
15 ೧೫ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ತಾನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ ಪೂಜಾ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೋರಿಕುರಿಗಳ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಪೂಜೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆ ಪೂಜಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
And he appointed for himself priests for the high places and for the goats and for the calves which he had made.
16 ೧೬ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
And after them from all [the] tribes of Israel those [who] set heart their to seek Yahweh [the] God of Israel they came Jerusalem to sacrifice to Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.
17 ೧೭ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದ ಹಾಗು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಆ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ, ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಬಲಗೊಂಡನು.
And they strengthened [the] kingdom of Judah and they strengthened Rehoboam [the] son of Solomon for years three for they walked in [the] way of David and Solomon for years three.
18 ೧೮ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆರೀಮೋತನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮಹ್ಲತ್ತಳನ್ನು, ಇಷಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗಳೂ ಎಲೀಯಾಬನ ಮಗಳೂ ಆದ ಅಬೀಹೈಲಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And he took for himself Rehoboam a wife Mahalath ([the] daughter of *Q(K)*) Jerimoth [the] son of David Abihail [the] daughter of Eliab [the] son of Jesse.
And she bore to him sons Jeush and Shemariah and Zaham.
20 ೨೦ ಅನಂತರ ಅವನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮಾಕ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು; ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಂದ ಅಬೀಯ, ಅತ್ತೈ, ಜೀಜ, ಶೆಲೋಮೀತ್ ಎಂಬುವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
And after her he took Maacah [the] daughter of Absalom and she bore to him Abijah and Attai and Ziza and Shelomith.
21 ೨೧ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪತ್ನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮಾಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಪತ್ನಿಯರೂ, ಅರುವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯರೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅರುವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And he loved Rehoboam Maacah [the] daughter of Absalom more than all wives his and concubines his for wives eight-teen he had taken and concubines sixty and he fathered twenty and eight sons and sixty daughters.
22 ೨೨ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಮಾಕಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀಯನನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಅಣ್ಣ ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಭುವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
And he appointed to the chief Rehoboam Abijah [the] son of Maacah to leader among brothers his for to make king him.
23 ೨೩ ತನ್ನ ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಜಾಣತನದಿಂದ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಿ, ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕೋಟೆಕೊತ್ತಲುಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಆಯಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ, ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಗೊತ್ತು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
And he acted wisely and he distributed some of all sons his to all [the] lands of Judah and Benjamin to all [the] cities of fortifications and he gave to them food to abundance and he sought a multitude of wives.
