ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 3

1 ೧ ಆದರೆ ಸಹೋದರರೇ ನಾನಂತೂ ಆತ್ಮೀಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳೆಗೂಸುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿರುವವರ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.

And I, my brethren, could not speak to you, as to spiritual persons, but as to carnal ones, even as to babes in Christ.

2 ೨ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಾಲು ಕುಡಿಸಿದೆನು ಆಹಾರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗಲೂ ನೀವು ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat; for ye were not hitherto able to bear it, nor yet are ye even now able.

3 ೩ ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚು ಜಗಳಗಳು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ, ನೀವು ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕೇವಲ ಬೇರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲವೆ?

Because ye are still carnal: for while there is among you envy and strife and divisions, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk as men?

4 ೪ ಒಬ್ಬನು, “ನಾನು ಪೌಲನವನು” ಎಂದು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು, “ನಾನು ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೇವಲ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲವೇ?

For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos, are ye not carnal?

5 ೫ ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನು ಯಾರು? ಪೌಲನು ಯಾರು? ಅವರ ಸೇವೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವವರಾದಿರಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರು ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whose means ye embraced the faith, even as the Lord gave success to each of them?

6 ೬ ನಾನು ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟೆನು. ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನು ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ಯಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದವನು ದೇವರೇ.

I have planted, Apollos watered: but God gave the increase.

7 ೭ ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನೆಡುವವನಾಗಲಿ, ನೀರುಹೊಯ್ಯುವವನಾಗಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದವನಲ್ಲ. ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ದೇವರೇ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯವಾದಾತನು.

So that neither he that planteth is any thing, nor he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase.

8 ೮ ನೆಡುವವನೂ, ನೀರು ಹೊಯ್ಯುವವನೂ ಸರಿಸಮಾನರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಶಮ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಕೂಲಿಯು ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.

And he that planteth, and he that watereth, are as one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

9 ೯ ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಜೊತೆಕೆಲಸದವರು. ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಹೊಲವೂ. ದೇವರ ಮಂದಿರವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

For we are fellow-laborers, the servants of God: and ye are the husbandry of God, ye are the building of God.

10 ೧೦ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಜಾಣ್ಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪ್ರವೀಣನಾದ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯಂತೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದೆನು. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ತಾನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.

According to the grace of God given to me, as a wise architect I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon: but let every one see to it how he buildeth thereon.

11 ೧೧ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂಬ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಹಾಕಲಾರರಷ್ಟೆ.

For no one can lay any other foundation, but that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ: and if any build upon this foundation gold,

12 ೧೨ ಆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ರತ್ನಗಳು, ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ, ಹುಲ್ಲು, ಆಪು ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದರಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರೂ,

silver, precious stones, or wood, hay, stubble;

13 ೧೩ ಅವನವನ ಕೆಲಸವು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವುದು. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಬರುವ ದಿನವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಡನೆ ಉದಯವಾಗಿ ಆ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸುವುದು. ಅವನವನ ಕೆಲಸವೆಂಥದೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಶೋಧಿಸುವುದು.

every man's work shall be made manifest. For the great day will shew it; because it will be discovered by fire, and the fire will prove every man's work of what sort it is.

14 ೧೪ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಉಳಿದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದು.

If any man's work abide, which he hath built upon it, he shall receive a reward:

15 ೧೫ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗುವುದು. ತಾನಾದರೋ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನ ಹಾಗಿರುವನು.

but if any man's work be burnt, he will be damaged; though he himself shall be saved, but, as it were out of fire.

16 ೧೬ ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದೂ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆಂದೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

Do ye not know that ye are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 ೧೭ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವನು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವು ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದದ್ದು ಆ ಆಲಯವು ನೀವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

If any one destroy the temple of God, him will God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, and this temple are ye.

18 ೧೮ ಯಾವನೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಲೋಕಸಂಬಂಧವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ “ಮೂರ್ಖನಾಗಲಿ” (aiōn g165)

Let no one deceive himself: if any among you seem to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be truly wise. (aiōn g165)

19 ೧೯ ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಹಲೋಕದ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವಾಗಿದೆ. “ಆತನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಂತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೆ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂತಲೂ,”

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written, "He taketh the wise in their own craftiness:"

20 ೨೦ “ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿಷ್ಫಲವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂತಲೂ” ಬರೆದದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ

and again, "The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain."

21 ೨೧ ಆದಕಾರಣ ಮನುಷ್ಯಮಾತ್ರದವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರಲಿ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದೆ.

Therefore let no one glory in men: for all things are yours;

22 ೨೨ ಪೌಲನಾಗಲಿ, ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನಾಗಲಿ, ಕೇಫನಾಗಲಿ ಲೋಕವಾಗಲಿ, ಜೀವವಾಗಲಿ ಮರಣವಾಗಲಿ ಈಗಿನ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಮುಂದಣ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮದೇ.

whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or future, all are yours;

23 ೨೩ ನೀವಂತೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನವರು, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ದೇವರಿನವನು.

and ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
