ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 5
1 ೧ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ರೂಬೇನನ ವಂಶಾವಳಿ. ರೂಬೇನನು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಗಮಿಸಿ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹಕ್ಕು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
And the sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel—for he was the first-born; but, when the defiled his father's bed, was his birthright given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: so that the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the first-birth.
2 ೨ ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೂದನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದುದರಿಂದಲೂ, ರಾಜಾಧಿಕಾರವು ಇವನ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದುದರಿಂದಲೂ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನೆಂದು ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕತಕ್ಕ ಪಾಲು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು.
For Judah became the mightiest of his brothers, and the prince descended from him: while the first-birthright belonged to Joseph, —
The sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel were, Chanoch, and Pallu, Chezron, and Carmi.
The sons of Joel: Shema'yah his son, Gog his son, Shim'i his son,
Michah his son, Reayah his son, Ba'al his son,
6 ೬ ಬಾಳನ ಮಗ ಬೇರ. ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಇವನನ್ನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ ಫಿಲ್ನೇಸರನು ಸೆರೆಯೊಯ್ದನು.
Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneesser the king of Assyria carried into exile: he was the prince of the Reubenites.
7 ೭ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನ ಗೋತ್ರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಲಿಖಿತರಾದವರು ನಾಯಕನಾದ ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲ್, ಜೆಕರ್ಯ, ಬೆಳ ಇವರೇ. ಬೆಳನು ಅಜಾಜನ ಮಗ.
And his brethren by their families, according to their genealogy after their generations, were, the chief, Je'iel, and Zecharyahu,
8 ೮ ಬೆಳನು ಅಜಾಜನ ಮಗ. ಅಜಾಜನು ಶೆಮಯನ ಮಗ. ಶೆಮಯನು ಯೋವೇಲನ ಮಗ. ಯೋವೇಲ್ಯರು ಅರೋಯೇರಿನಿಂದ ನೆಬೋ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಳ್ಮೆಯೋನ್ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳವರೆಗೂ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
And Bela' the son of 'Azaz, the son of Shema', the son of Joel, who dwelt in 'Aro'er, and as far as Nebo and Ba'al-me'on;
9 ೯ ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿಯ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಣ್ಯವು ಇವರ ಮೇರೆ. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ದನ ಕುರಿಹಿಂಡುಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
And to the eastward he dwelt as far as the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates; because their cattle were numerous in the land of Gil'ad.
10 ೧೦ ಇವರು ಸೌಲನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗ್ರೀಯರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಡೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡ ತೊಡಗಿದನು.
And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarenes, who fell by their hand; and they dwelt in their tents in the whole front of the land to the east of Gil'ad.
And the children of Gad dwelt alongside of them, in the land of Bashan as far as Salchah.
Joel the chief, and Shapham the next, and Ja'nai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
And their brethren according to their family divisions were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba', and Jorai, and Ya'kan, and Zia', and 'Eber, seven.
14 ೧೪ ಇವರು ಅಬೀಹೈಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಅಬೀಹೈಲನು ಹೂರೀಯ ಮಗ, ಇವನು ಯಾರೋಹನ ಮಗ. ಯಾರೋಹನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ ಮಗ, ಇವನು ಮೀಕಾಯೇಲನ ಮಗ. ಮೀಕಾಯೇಲನು ಯೆಷೀಷೈಯನ ಮಗ, ಇವನು ಯಹ್ದೋವಿನ ಮಗ, ಇವನು ಅಹೀಬೂಜನ ಮಗ.
These are the children of Abichayil the son of Churi, the son of Jaroach, the son of Gil'ad, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jachdo, the son of Buz:
Achi the son of Abdiel the son of Guni, the chief of their family division.
16 ೧೬ ಗಾದ್ಯರು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅದರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಶಾರೋನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
And they dwelt in Gil'ad, in Bashan, and in its minor towns, and in all the open districts of Sharon, as far as their terminations.
17 ೧೭ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
All these were recorded by their genealogies in the days of Jotham the king of Judah, and in the days of Jerobo'am the king of Israel.
18 ೧೮ ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರು, ಗಾದ್ಯರು, ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ರಣವೀರರೂ ಗುರಾಣಿ ಖಡ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವವರೂ, ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸುವವರೂ, ಯುದ್ಧ ನಿಪುಣರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಲ್ವತ್ತನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳು ನೂರ ಅರವತ್ತು ಸೈನಿಕರಿದ್ದರು.
The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear shield and sword, and to draw the bow, and practised in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and sixty, that went out to the army.
And they made war with the Hagarenes, and Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab.
20 ೨೦ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದನು. ಹಗ್ರೀಯರೂ ಇವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೂ ಅವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
And they obtained help against them, and the Hagarenes were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them; for to God they cried in the battle, and he was entreated by them; because they put their trust in him.
21 ೨೧ ಈ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಹಿಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ, ಐವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳು, ಎರಡು ಲಕ್ಷದ ಐವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ, ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹಿಡಿದರು.
And they led away captive their cattle: of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of human beings one hundred thousand.
22 ೨೨ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ವೈರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ತಿವಿದು ಕೊಂದದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ, ತಾವು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಅವರ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.
For there fell down many slain; because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their stead until the exile.
23 ೨೩ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಅರ್ಧಜನರು ಬಾಷಾನಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಳ್ ಹೆರ್ಮೋನ್, ಸೆನೀರ್, ಹೆರ್ಮೋನ್ ಗಿರಿ ಇವುಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.
And the children of the half tribe of Menasseh dwelt in the land: from Bashan unto Ba'al-chermon and Senir and mount Chermon were they numerous.
24 ೨೪ ಇವರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಪುರುಷರು ಏಫೆರ್, ಇಷ್ಷೀ, ಎಲೀಯೇಲ್, ಅಜ್ರೀಯೇಲ್, ಯೆರೆಮೀಯ, ಹೋದವ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹ್ತೀಯೇಲ್. ಇವರು ರಣವೀರರೂ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವರು ಗೋತ್ರಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
And these were the heads of their family divisions: namely, 'Epher, and Yish'i, and Eliel, and 'Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodavyah, and Jachdiel, mighty men of valor, famous men, [and] heads of their family divisions.
25 ೨೫ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾಗಿದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ಆ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸತೊಡಗಿದರು.
But they trespassed against the God of their fathers, and went astray after the gods of the people of the land, whom God had destroyed from before them.
26 ೨೬ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೂಲ್, ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸರ್ ಎಂಬವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದು ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರು, ಗಾದ್ಯರು, ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರು ಇವರನ್ನು ಹಲಹ, ಹಾಬೋರ್, ಹಾರ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ, ಗೋಜಾನ್ ನದಿಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೂ ಸೆರೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನೆಲೆಸುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul the king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath-pilnesser the king of Assyria, and he carried them into exile, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, and brought them unto Chalach, and Chabor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, even until this day.
