1 Ra Anumzamo'a ama nanekema Zefanaiama ami'neana, Amoni nemofo Josia'ma Juda vahe kinima mani'nea knafi ami'ne. Hagi Zefanaia nefa'a Kusiki, Kusi nefa'a Gedaliaki, Gedalia nefa'a Amariaki, Amaria nefa'a Hezekaia'e.

The word of Jehovah that came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

2 Nagra ama mopamofo agofetu'ma me'nea zantamina maka eri harafi hutregahue huno Ra Anumzamo'a hu'ne.

I will utterly take away everything from off the face of the ground, saith Jehovah:

3 Maka vahe'ene zagagafanena ruharafi hutre vaganere'na, anamifima hare'za vanoma nehaza namaramine, hagerimpi nozameraminena ruharafi hutre vagaregahue. Havi avu'ava zama nehaza vahera zamahe vagarete'na magopi zmamavufga'a erinte hihi hanuge'za tetemukna nehanagena, ama mopamofo agofetutira maka vahera zamahe vagaregahue huno Ra Anumzamo'a hu'ne.

I will take away man and beast; I will take away the fowl of the heavens and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling-blocks with the wicked, and I will cut off mankind from off the face of the ground, saith Jehovah.

4 Juda mopafima nemaniza vahete'ene Jerusalemi ran kumapima nemaniza vahetera nazana rusute'na zamazeri haviza hugahue. Bali havi anumzante'ma mono'ma hunentaza vahe'ma, ama ana mopa'afima osi'ama manisazama'a maka zamahe vaganere'na, ana havi anumzaraminte'ma pristi eri'zama e'neriza vahe'enena zamahe vagarenugeno zamagia omanegahie.

And I will stretch forth my hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, the name of the Chemarim with the priests;

and them that bow down to the host of the heavens upon the housetops; and them that bow down to Jehovah, that swear by [him], and swear by Malcham;

6 Ko'ma Ra Anumzamo'na namage'ma antete'za natre'naza vahe'mo'za, kegavama hunezamante'na asomuma huzmante'sanugura nantahia nonkaze.

and them that turn back from after Jehovah, and that do not seek Jehovah, nor inquire for him.

7 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'ma vahe'ma refko hunezamanteno keagama huzmantesania knamo'a hago kofta nehianki, Agri avurera keaga osu akoheta emaniho. Zgagafama aheno kresramnama viaza huno Ra Anumzamo'a, Agra vahe'a zamahenaku trotra nehie. Ana nehuno zamagri'ma zamazeri havizama hanaza vahera ko zamagi hu'ne.

Be silent at the presence of the Lord Jehovah; for the day of Jehovah is at hand; for Jehovah hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath hallowed his guests.

8 Ra Anumzamo'a huno, anama zamahe'nua kna knazupa, Juda vahe'mofo kva vahetamine, kini vahe'mokizmi mofavre naga'ene, ru vahe'mokizmi zamavu'zamavama nevaririza vahe'enena knazana zamina zamazeri haviza hugahue.

And it shall come to pass in the day of Jehovah's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's sons, and all such as are clothed with foreign apparel.

9 Megi'a vahe'mokizmi havi anumzante'ma mono'ma hunentaza vahe'ene vahe'mokizmi fenozama zamahe'za nehanare'za, havigema hu'za fenozama eri'za kva ne' zamimofo nompima eme nentaza vahe'enena ana zupa zamazeri haviza hugahue.

And in that day will I punish all those that leap over the threshold, who fill their master's house with violence and deceit.

10 Ra Anumzamo'a huno ana zupa, ran kumamofona nozame kafanteti mago ran krafage hugahie. Ana hanigeno zamasunku'ma huza zavi'ma atesaza krafagemo'a ran kumapina vuno eno hugahie. Ana'ma nehanigeno'a agonaramimpintira ra agasasa neranigeta antahigahaze.

And in that day, saith Jehovah, there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish-gate, and a howling from the second [quarter], and a great crashing from the hills.

11 Maketi kumapima mani'naza vahe'mota tamazana kofita zaviteho. Na'ankure maka zama zagore'ma eme netraza vahe'ene zagoma rezahe'ma nehaza vahe'enena fanane hugahaze.

Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh; for all the people of Canaan are cut down, all they that are laden with silver are cut off.

12 Ana knafina Jerusalemi kumapima hanima hu'nea ma'afima mani'nezama kumi avu'ava'ma nehu'za, oku'a nehune hu'za nehu'za zamagrama antahi'zana, Ra Anumzamo'a mago knare zano mago havizana osugahie hu'za nehaza vahe'mokizmia, ramu tavi'ni'a tagina hakre'na zamazeri haviza hugahue.

And it shall come to pass at that time, [that] I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men that are settled on their lees, that say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, neither will he do evil.

And their wealth shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation; and they shall build houses, and not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and not drink the wine thereof.

14 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'ma vahe'ma keaga hunezamanteno refko'ma huzmantesania knamo'a hago kofta nehiankino, ame huno ana knamo'a efore hugahie. Ana knama efore'ma hania knazupa, hankave sondia vahe'mo'za tusi zavi krafa hugahaze.

The great day of Jehovah is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly. The voice of the day of Jehovah: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

15 E'i ana kna Anumzamofo arimpa ahekna efore hugahiankino, vahe'mo'a hazenkezampi manino nomaniza mani so'ea nosanigeno, tusi'a hazenkeza fore hina maka zamo'a havizantfa nehanigeno, hanima haniana tusi hani huno rentrako hugahie. Ana nehanigeno hampomo'a kintrako hanigeno hanintiri hugahie.

That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of ruin and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and gross darkness,

16 Ana knafina ufe krafamo'a tusiza nehanigeno, sondia vahe'mo'za ibimo agazamo nehu'za erintagu hu'za hankave vihu kegina me'negeno, kuma kegava nehaza za'za nontamima me'nea ranra kumatamintega vugahaze.

a day of the trumpet and alarm, against the fenced cities and against the high battlements.

17 Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Nagri navufima kumi'ma hu'nazagu hu'na hazenke zana atrenugeno eno eme tamazeri haviza hanigeta, zamavu suhu vahe'mo'zama nehazaza huta rege'rege huta vano hugahaze. Tamagri koramo'a kugusopafi tagi neramisanigeno, tamavufgamo'a mopafi me'neno kasrino rifagna huno hi'mna vugahie.

And I will bring distress upon men, and they shall walk like blind men; for they have sinned against Jehovah; and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as dung:

18 Ra Anumzamofo arimpa ahe' zamo'ma esania knazupa, silvane golinema ante'naza zamo'a tamagura ovazigahie. Na'ankure Anumzamofo arimpa ahe'zamo'a, tevegna huno ama mopa teno erihana hugahie. Tamagerfa huno, maka ama mopafima nemaniza vahe'mo'za, antri hanazaza huno zamahe vagaregahie.

their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them, in the day of Jehovah's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for a full end, yea, a sudden [end], shall he make of all them that dwell in the land.
