< Taitus 2 >

1 Hianagi kagrama rempi huzmisanana, tamage kema hu'nesia ke'age (doctrine) huzamasmio.
But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine:
2 Ranra vene'nea rempi huzamige'za, fru kefinti kea antemase'za ranke osu'za, knare zmavuzmava nehu'za, knare zamagu'zamagesa antahiho. Hankave zamentinti nehu'za vaheku zamesi nezmante'za, zamentintifina hanaveti'za maniho.
that aged men be temperate, grave, sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:
3 Ana zanke hunka ranra a'ne rempi huzamige'za, mikaza hanafina Anumzamofo agorga mani'ne'za, vahe agenke osu' aka timo'a zamazeri havia osanige'za knare'za rempi huzamiho.
that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;
that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
[to be] sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:
6 Anahu kna hunka nehazave nagara zamumro antege'za, kegava hu'za maniho.
the younger men likewise exhort to be sober-minded:
7 Hakare'zama hanampina knare avu'ava huzamio. Huzameri hanampina zokago vakago osunka tamage ke'age nehunka,
in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine [showing] uncorruptness, gravity,
8 tamage ke'age huzamasmigeno mago'mo'a huhaviza huoganteno. E'ina hanankeno aza'o huhaviza hugantesimo'a agzegu hugahie. Na'ankure zamagra havigema hurante zankura hakregahaze.
sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.
[Exhort] servants to be in subjection to their own masters, [and] to be well-pleasing [to them] in all things; not gainsaying;
10 mago'zazamia kumzafa oseho. Hagi eri'zana tamage kazigati erifatgo nehanageno, e'i anazamo Anumza tzahu ne'mofo mani'za huzamerisage'za nege'za, mono nontahisaza kva vahe'mo'zane, megi'a vahe'mo'za zamagu'a rukrahe hugahaze.
not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 Na'ankure Anumzamofo asunku zamo vahe avare'zana hakare vahete erino efore hu'ne.
For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
12 Tagri rempi huramino mono ontahi avu'ava'zane, ama mopafi zanku avesi'zanena atreho nehuno, hagi tamufa kva huta, fatgo huta Anumzamofo (godly) avu'avate ama kna'afina maniho. (aiōn g165)
instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world; (aiōn g165)
13 Hagi ana knama esigu avega anteneta muse nehune, tusi'a masa'afi efore hanigu, Ra Anumzantima, Tazahu ne' Krais Jisasi esigu avega ante'none.
looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Tagriku huno Agra'a avufga atreno kefo'zampinti miza seranteno tvare atre'ne, Agri'a vahere huno sese huranteno, tvare Agrarega tante'negu, muse nehuta knare zanke hanune.
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.
These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
