1 Maka kenagera tafeni'are mase'nena, navesima nentoa ne'mofonkura tusiza hu'na antahintahia nehu'na, ava'nafina agrikura hakena vano hu'noanagi onke'noe.
On my bed by night, I sought him whom my soul has loved; I sought him, and I did not find him!
2 Anama onke'na amanage hu'na hu'noe, menina oti'na rankumapine neone kampi vano nehu'na, nagu'aretima hu'na navesima nentoa ne'mofonkura hakena vano hugahue. Anage nehu'na otina hakena vano hu'noanagi onke'noe.
Now let me rise, and go around the city, In the streets and in the broad places, I seek him whom my soul has loved! I sought him, and I did not find him.
3 Anante kumama kegava hu'za vanoma nehaza vahe'mo'za eme nage'za eri fore hazage'na, navesima nentoa nera ke'nazo hu'na zamantahige'noe.
The watchmen have found me (Who are going around the city), “Have you seen him whom my soul has loved?”
4 Kuma'ma kegavama nehaza vahetmima zamagate'ma nere'na, nagu'areti'ma hu'na navesi navesima nehua nera ome ke'na erifore hutena, ome agazafe'na anukinena avre'na nenrera nontega vu'na agrama amu'enema huno kasenante'nefinka vu'noe.

5 Vemo'a huno, Jerusalemi mofaneramimota gazeliema nehaza afu'ene, afi diamo'ma nehia zante tamagesa nentahita, navesizana azeri ora otigosune huta huvempa hunenkeno vuno kna fatgore vino.
I have adjured you, daughters of Jerusalem, By the roes or by the does of the field, Do not stir up nor wake the love until she pleases!

9 Hanki Lebanoni mopafinti'ma eri'za e'naza zafanu kini ne' Solomoni'ma manisia trara tro hu'naze.
A palanquin King Solomon made for himself, Of the wood of Lebanon,
10 Ana sesenkumofo noma antesgama hu zafa Silvareti tro nehu'za, amagenama ante kaziga golireti eri fagaginente'za, fitunke tavravereti tafera masinte'naze. Jerusalemi mofanemo'za ana konararia tro huntenazankino, tusiza hu'za ana konararigura zamavesinte'naze.
Its pillars he made of silver, Its bottom of gold, its seat of purple, Its midst lined [with] love, By the daughters of Jerusalem.
11 Atiramita kini ne' Solomonina eme keho. A'ma masimigeno tusi musema hia knare'ma, nerera'ma ami'nea kini fetori antanino ne-e.
Go forth, and look, you daughters of Zion, On King Solomon, with the crown, With which his mother crowned him, In the day of his espousals, And in the day of the joy of his heart!
