1 Korapa'ma keaga refakohu vahe'mo'za (jasi) mopa kva hu'naza knafi, tusi'a zamagate'za Juda mopare fore higeno, mago nera Betlehemu, Juda mopareti ne'mo, osi'agna Moapu umaniku nenarone, tare ne'ane zamavareno vu'ne.
And it comes to pass, in [the] days [when] the ones judging judge, that there is a famine in the land, and there goes a man from Beth-Lehem-Judah to sojourn in the fields of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.
2 Ana ne'mofo agi'a, Elimeleki'e, nenaro agi'a Naomi'e, hagi tare ne'amokizni znagi'a, Maloni'ene, Kilionike. Efrata naga nofipintira Betlehemu Juda mopafinti Moab mopare e'za emani'naze.
And the name of the man [is] Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephraimites from Beth-Lehem-Judah; and they come into the fields of Moab, and are there.
3 Ana mopare mani'nageno, Naomi neve, Elimeleki'a frigeno, Naomi'a tare ne'mofavre'ane zamagraku mani'naze.
And Elimelech husband of Naomi dies, and she is left, she and her two sons;
4 Higeno tare ne'amokea Moapu mopareti mofatre ara eri'na'e. Mago'mofo agi'a, Opa'e, hanki mago'mofo agi'a Ruti'e. Ana nehu'za 10i'a Zagegafu naza anantega mani'naze.
and they take to them wives, Moabitesses: the name of the first [is] Orpah, and the name of the second Ruth; and they dwell there about ten years.
5 Anante mani'nageno Naomina, tare mofavre'a Maloni'ene, Kilionikea anazanke hu'ne fri'na'e. Ana hzageno, Naomina, tare mofavre'ane, neve'ene, fri'zageno, zavi neteno agraku mani'ne!
And they die also, both of them—Mahlon and Chilion—and the woman is left of her two children and of her husband.
6 Moapuma mani'neno antahiama Ramo'a asomu huntegeno, agri'a vahepina ne'zamo'a avitema higeno'a, Naomi'a mopa'are vunaku retro nehigeno, nenoferokea, agrane vunaku tro hu'na'e.
And she rises, she and her daughters-in-law, and turns back from the fields of Moab, for she has heard in the fields of Moab that God has looked after His people—to give to them bread.
7 Nenofero a'trene, agrane (Naomi) nemaniza mopa atre'za vu'za Judama nevaza kante uhanati'naze.
And she goes out from the place where she has been, and her two daughters-in-law with her, and they go in the way to return to the land of Judah.
8 Anante Naomi'a tarega nenoferokiznigu anage hu'ne, Taregamotna'a kama antahi'o, antatani'amofo nontega vi'o. Fri'naza nagate'ene, nagrite'enema tanagrama ha'a avu'ava zantera, Anumzamo'a tanagrira ana huno knare avu'ava huranantesie.
And Naomi says to her two daughters-in-law, “Go, return, each to the house of her mother; YHWH does with you kindness as you have done with the dead, and with me;
9 Kasefa ve eritna nonkuma huta manisapina Anumzamo'a knare'za huno kegava huranantegahie huno neznasmino, zanagi antako nehige'za krafa hu'za zavi ate'naze.
YHWH grants to you, and you find rest each in the house of her husband”; and she kisses them, and they lift up their voice and weep.
10 Hianagi zanagra anage hu'na'e. O'e, tagra kagri vahetega kagrane vugahu'e, huke asmi'na'e.
And they say to her, “Surely with you we go back to your people.”
11 Hu'neanagi, Naomi'a kenonazni'a anage hu'ne, Kuma tani'arega etetna vi'o, mofa'nimotna'a, Judama nagranema vana'a zamofona knare kegafa omane'ne. Nagra knare osu'noanki'na, mofavrea kasentesnugeno, ana mofavremo'a nernave zana osugahie.
And Naomi says, “Turn back, my daughters; why do you go with me? Are there yet to me sons in my bowels that they have been to you for husbands?
12 Kuma taniarega etetna vi'o, mofa'nimotna'a! Nagra ko tavava te'noanki'na ete'na aravea osugahue. Hagi nagrama meni kenage'ma ve eri'na mofavre zaga kasezamantegahue huasina,
Turn back, my daughters, go, for I am too aged to be to a husband; though I had said, There is for me hope, also, I have been tonight to a husband, and also I have borne sons:
13 tanagra knare zanavega ante'nesanke'ne, arave huga kantera ra hate'sino? Tanagra knare vea e'oritna ana kna'afina amnea mani'tesino? O'e, mofa'trenimotna'e, nagranena ovu tfaza hugaha'e. Na'ankure tanagrama eri'a knazana agtere'na nagra eri'noe, Ramo'a nagrira nazeri haviza hu'ne.
do you wait for them until they grow up? Do you shut yourselves up for them, not to be to a husband? No, my daughters, for more bitter to me than to you, for the hand of YHWH has gone out against me.”
14 Tusi krafa hu'za mago'ene zavira ate'naze. Anante Opa'a nenoferona azerino antako nehuno ete vu'ne. Hianagi ana huo huno huma nenteana, Ruti'a tusi'za huno Naomina agzafeno anuki hampo'na hu'ne.
And they lift up their voice, and weep again, and Orpah kisses her mother-in-law, and Ruth has cleaved to her.
15 Naomi'a anage hu'ne, Ko, neganunkna'a, vahe'ane, anumzama'a nehirega eteno nevie. Neganunkna amage antenka kumaka'arega vuo, huno asmi'ne.
And she says, “Behold, your sister-in-law has turned back to her people, and to her god, turn back after your sister-in-law.”
16 Hianagi Ruti'a ke'arera amanage hu'ne, Natrenka vuo hunka kagra tutura huonanto. Na'ankure, kagrama inantega vusanana, anantega nagra vugahue. Inante manisanana, nagra anante umanigahu'e. Kagri vahe'mo'za, nagri vahe manigahaze. Kagri Anumzamo'a, nagri Anumza segahie.
And Ruth says, “Do not urge me to leave you—to turn back from after you; for to where you go I go, and where you lodge I lodge; your people [is] my people, and your God my God.
17 Inante'ma kagrama fri snantera, anante nagra frisnuge'za ase nantegahaze. Anumzamo'a nagrira tusi'a kna namigahie, nagrama nehua kema amage'ma osnugeno'a, magoke'zana fri'zamoke tazeri pasegahie.
Where you die I die, and there I am buried; thus does YHWH to me, and thus He adds—for death itself parts between me and you.”
18 Naomi'ma kegeno Ruti'ma hampo'natino agrane vugahue'ma higeno'a, tutu'ma huno'ma huma nenteretira anante atre'ne.
And she sees that she is strengthening herself to go with her, and she ceases to speak to her;
19 Higeke ana tarega'moke vuvava hu'ne Betlehem uhanatina'e. Betlehemi ufrake'za, ana kumapi miko vahe'mo'za uma hnatina'a zankura tusi muse hu'naze. Ana nehu'za kumate a'ne zagamo'za anage hu'naze, Ama ara Naomio?
and the two of them go until their coming to Beth-Lehem; and it comes to pass at their coming to Beth-Lehem, that all the city is moved at them, and they say, “Is this Naomi?”
20 Hianagi, Naomi'a ke nonazmi huno, Naomi'e (knaremo'e) hutma nagia ohetma, Mara'e (aka he'ne) huta nagia aheho, na'ankure Miko'zante Kva Hu'nea Hanave Anumzamo (Sovren) knare'zana huonante'ne.
And she says to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly to me,
21 Amareti'ma atre'na vu'noana maka'zampina avite'na vu'noe, hianagi Ramo'a nazampi omane kno eteno navareno e'ne. Na'a higetma Naomi'e huta nagia nehaze, negazo Ramo'ma nagri'ma ha'ma renenanteno, Miko'zante Kva Hu'nea Hanave Anumzamo (Sovren) nagri'ma nasuzane, natazama nenamiana?
I went out full, and YHWH has brought me back empty, why do you call me Naomi, and YHWH has testified against me, and the Almighty has done evil to me?”
22 E'ina higeno, Naomi'a nenofero Moabuti a' Ruti'e. Moabuti'ma Betlehemima ehanati na'ana, bali hoza agafa hu'za traga nehaza knafi e'na'e.
And Naomi turns back, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter-in-law, with her, who has turned back from the fields of Moab, and they have come to Beth-Lehem at the commencement of barley-harvest.
