< Roma 9 >

1 Hagi havigea nosuanki, Kraisimpi tamage hu'na nehue. Ruotage Avamumo'ene nagu'a kenege'na ama' nagu'nagesareti ama kea tamage nehue.
I am speaking the truth in Christ. My conscience confirms through the Holy Spirit that I am not lying when I say
2 Tusi'a nasuza enerugeno, tumo niamo'a nata krivava nehie.
that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart.
3 Na'ankure, nagrima navesiana Anumzamo'a Jekopu nagara zmavresiegu navenesie, Kraisima nagri navesima avaririnigena, nagra nunamuna hanenkeno Agra'a vahepintira nahe natitrena, nenafu'za nagri nona erigahaze.
For I could wish that I myself were accursed, cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.
4 Zamagra Israeli vahera Anumzamo'a zamavarege'za Agri mofavregna hu'naze. Anumzamo zamagripi masazama'a eri ama hu'ne. Agra'a huvempa huno, Agrane zamazeri hagenerefino kasege'a zami'ne. Agra'a mono'ma huntesaza kankmuna neramino, knare zama erisuna zanku'ma huvempa hurantenea tamine.
They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption as sons, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple service, and the promises.
5 Zamagri nezmagehoma zamagima me'nea nagapinti Kraisi'a efore hu'ne. Kraisi'a, Agra Anumza mani'neno makazamofo aseni mani'negu maka knafina, Agrike agi'a hentesga huvava hugahune! Tamage. (aiōn g165)
To them belong the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, came the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Anumzamo'ma Israeli vaheku'ma huvempa huzamante'nea kea eri raga orenefi? I'o. Na'ankure maka'ma Israeli vahepima fore hu'naza vahe'mo'za Anumzamofo vahekera omani'naze!
It is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all Israelites truly belong to Israel,
7 Abrahamumpinti fore hu'naza vahe mani'nazanagi, e'i ana zamo'a zamazeri tamage Abrahamu mofavrea nose. Na'ankure avontafemo huno, Abrahamu'a mago'a mofavre'zaga zamante'neanagi, Mofavreka'a Aisakimpinti kagri vahera fore hugahaze huno hu'ne. (Jen-Agf 21:12)
and not all of Abraham's children are his true descendants, but, “Through Isaac yoʋr descendants will be counted.”
8 E'i vahe'mota kasenentona kna huno Abrahamu'ma kasezmante'nea mofavremo'za, ana miko Anumzamofo mofavregera omani'naze. Hagi Anumzamoma huvempama huzmante'nemo'za, Abrahamu mofavrea mani'naze.
That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God; rather, the children of the promise are counted as descendants.
9 Na'ankure Anumzamo'a huvempa huno, Ama ana knare'ma anaga'a kafure'ma esuana, Sera'a ne'mofavre kasentegahie hu'ne. (Jen-Agf 18:10)
For this is what God promised: “About this time next year I will come, and Sarah will have a son.”
10 E'i ana mofavrea nerageho Aisakie. Hagi Aisaki'a, Rebeka ara erigeno, kugave'za mofavre kasezanante'ne.
Not only that, but when Rebecca had conceived by one man, our father Isaac,
11 Zanagrira kase ozanantenegeke, havizane knare zanena osu'nakeno, ko Anumzamo'a nezanrerana kea asmine. (E'i ana kemo huama huno, Anumzamo agra'a eri'za kante vahe'mokizimia ko huhamprizmantene.
though her sons were not yet born and had done nothing good or evil, in order for the purpose of God's choice to stand (not because of works but because of him who calls),
12 Hianagi knare avu'ava zante keno kea osu'ne.) Neznarerana Anumzamo asmino, Nempuamo'a nagana'amofo katoza humigahie huno hu'ne. (Jen-Agf 25:23)
she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”
13 Anumzamofo avontafepi krente'nea kante, Jekopuna navesinentuanagi, Isona navesra hunentoe hu'ne. (Mal 1:2-3)
As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”
14 Hagi na'ane hugahune? Anumzamo'a fatgozana nosie huta hugahuno? I'o anara osugahie!
What then shall we say? Is there injustice with God? Certainly not!
15 Na'ankure Anumzamo'a amanage huno Mosesena asmi'ne, Izano narimpa fru huntenaku hanumofona, narimpa fru hunentena, izano nasurgintenaku hanufona nasuragintegahue hu'ne. (Eks-Ati 33:19)
For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
16 E'ina hu'negu Anumzamo'a vahe'mota tavesite'ene erizanterompge, Agra'a avesizante asuragirante'ne.
So then, it does not depend on human will or effort, but on God's mercy.
17 Na'ankure Anumzamofo Avontafepina Anumzamo'a Feronkura anage huno asamine, Nagrama huhamprigantogenka kagrama mani'nanana, agafa'a me'nerere. Na'ankure Nagri hankavemo'a kagripi eama nehanigeno, Nagri nagimofona huama hu'za kokankoka vanageno, ra huno vuno'eno hugahie hu'ne. (Eks-Ati 9:16)
For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “I have raised yoʋ up for the very purpose of showing my power in yoʋ, so that my name might be declared in all the earth.”
18 E'ina hu'negu Anumzamo'a izano asuraginte'naku himofona asuraginenteno, izano rimpama eriginaku'ma himofona erinegie.
So then, God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
19 Hagi tamagra anage huta nagrikura hugahaze. Na'a higeno Anumzamo'a tamagrikura keontahi vahere huno nehie? Agra hugahaze huno hiazana tamagra nehazafi?
Yoʋ will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?”
20 I'o, e'i anahukna kea osiho. Tamagra izagata, vahetafamota Anumzamofona tro huhaviza hurantenane huta nehaze? Tro'ma huntenesia zamo'a, tro'ma huntenesimofona, nahigenka amanahuknara hunka trohunantenane huno huntegahifi?
On the contrary, O man, who are yoʋ to answer back to God? Shall the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why did yoʋ make me like this?”
21 Mopa kavoma tro nehanimo'ma, mopareti'ma kavoma troma hunaku'ma hanuno'a, amane magoke moparetira konariri zama ante kavoa tro nehuno, havizama haniazana ante kavo tro osugahifi?
Does the potter not have a right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?
22 E'i ana kanteke Anumzamo'a, rimpa hezana eriama nehuno, hankave'a eriama hugahie. Hianagi Agra ra zampi akoheno mani'neno zamazeri haviza hania vahekura za'za knafina zamaveganente.
What if God, although willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath fitted for destruction,
23 E'i ana zama hu'neana, Agri'a mareri'nea masazama eriama huno asunku'ma huzmante'nea vahetera eriama hu'ne. E'i anazana ko Agra'a retro huzmante'nemo'za erigahaze.
in order to make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy that he has prepared in advance for glory,
24 Jiu vahepinti'ene, megi'a vahepintima zmavaretere hunefina, tagranena anampina mani'none.
namely us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?
25 Hosea'ma kasnampa kema hu'nefina, Ru vahekura Nagri vahere nehu'na, navesi'ozmante'nesua vahekura navesizmantegahue huno hu'ne. (Hos 2:1, 23)
As he says in Hosea, “Those who were ‘not my people’ I will call ‘my people,’ and those who were ‘not beloved’ I will call ‘beloved.’
26 E'ina hanugeno, tamagra Nagri vahera omani'naze huno zamasmi'nesia kumatera, kasefa huno mani'nea Anumzamofo mofavreramine hu'za hugahaze. (Hos 1:10)
And in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”
27 Kasnampa ne' Aisaia'a Israeli vaheku huno, Israeli vahe'mo'za rama'a hu'za hagerinkenafi kasepankna hu'nazanagi, anampinti osi'amokizmi Anumzamo'a zamagu'vazigahie.
And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved.
28 Na'ankure Ramo'a fatgo avu'ava huno ame huno maka mopafi vahera refko huzmantegahie. (Ais 10:22, 23)
For the Lord will settle the matter swiftly and justly; his sentence will be executed upon the earth without delay.”
29 Ko'ma Aisaia hu'nea kante, Hihamu'ane Ramo tagehe'mokizmia zamahokeno osi'a zamatrege'za mani'naze. Anama osuneresina Sodomune Komora kumate vahe'mo'za fanane huvagare'naza kna huta fanane huvagarontesine. (Ais 1:9)
And just as Isaiah foretold, “If the Lord of hosts had not left us any descendants, we would have been like Sodom and become like Gomorrah.”
30 Hagi na'ane huta hugahune? Megi'a vahe'mo'za Anumzamofo avufi fatgo vahe mani'zankura nohakazanagi, zamentinti hazageno Anumzamo'a fatgo vahe mani'naze nehie.
What then shall we say? That Gentiles who were not pursuing righteousness have obtained righteousness, that is, the righteousness that is by faith.
31 Hu'neanagi Israeli vahe'mo'za fatgo vahe manisunegu maraguzati'za kasegemofo nevaririzanagi, ana zamofona nena'a eriforera osu'naze.
But Israel, although they pursued a law of righteousness, did not attain a law of righteousness.
32 Na'a hige'za anara osu'naze? Na'ankure zamagra zmentintia osu'naze. Hianagi eri'zama erisaza zanteti fatgo vahera Anumzamofo avurera manigahune nehu'za, agigozmi havereti tanafa nehaze.
Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stone of stumbling,
33 Anumzamofo avontafepi krente'neana anage hu'ne, Keho, Saionia vahe'mokizmi zamagigozmi have ante'noankino, vahe'mo'za zamagigo zamite'za tanafa hugahaze. Hagi iza'o Agrite amentinti hanimo'a agazegura osugosie hu'ne. (Ais 8:14, 28:16)
as it is written, “Behold, I am placing in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, yet no one who believes in him will be put to shame.”
