< Roma 7 >

1 Hagi nenfugatane nasaraheta, tamagra ko kasegea antahita keta hu'nazanki ontahi'nazo, asimu'ma erino mani'nea vahera kasegemo kegava huntegeno mani'ne. Hagi frisigeno'a kasegemo'a kegava huontegahie.
Are ye ignorant, brethren, (for I speak to those knowing law, ) that law rules over a man as long as he lives?
2 Hu'neanagi avame kema hunte'na hanuana, mago a'mo'ma vema erisigeno'a, ana a'mofona kasegemo kina rentesigeno, neve'ma asimu'ma erinoma mani'nesigeno'a neve'ene manigahie. Hianagi neve'ma frisigeno'a, ana kasegemofo kinafina omanigahie.
For the married woman is bound by law to her husband so long as he is alive; but if the husband should die, she is clear from the law of the husband:
3 Hagi neve'ma ofri mani'nesnigeno'ma ru vema erisiana agra monko avu'avaza hugahie. Hagi neve'ma frisigeno'a kasegemo'a kina reontegahiankino, ru vema erisaniana monko avu'ava zana osugahie.
so then, the husband being alive, she shall be called an adulteress if she be to another man; but if the husband should die, she is free from the law, so as not to be an adulteress, though she be to another man.
4 E'ina hu'negu, nafuhetane nasaraheta tamagra Jisasi'ene tragotaza zamo'a ko Jisasi'ene frita, kasegemofo agorga omani'naze. Hagi menina Jisasima ko fripinti'ma azeri otinemo'ene erimago huta Anumzamo'ma ave'nesia avu'ava zana hugahune.
So that, my brethren, ye also have been made dead to the law by the body of the Christ, to be to another, who has been raised up from among [the] dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.
5 Kumi tavutavamo kegava hurantenegeno'a, kumima hu' tavesizamo'a tagu'afina efore nehie. Hagi kasegemo'a havi tavutvamofo avesiza azeri otigeta, kumira hunkeno frizana avreno ne-e.
For when we were in the flesh the passions of sins, which [were] by the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit to death;
6 Hu'neanagi tagra ko kasegemofo kinafintira katuferantegeta fru huta mani'none. Na'ankure Kraisi'ene frunkeno mago'ene kasegemofo kinafintira tavre'ne. Hianagi menina amne Anumzamofo erizana erinenteta, korapa tavutva huta kasegefima krente'naza kemofo amage' ante'zanompage, Avamumofo kasefa kante vugahune.
but now we are clear from the law, having died in that in which we were held, so that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter.
7 Hagi na'ane hugahune, nagra kasegemo'a kumi me'ne nehufi? I'o. Tamage kasegea kumira omnene. Hianagi kasegemo kumira tamaveri nehie. Nagrama rumofo zanku'ma kenunu hu'zana, kumire hu'na antahi amara osuanagi, kasegemo eriama hige'na keama nehue.
What shall we say then? [is] the law sin? Far be the thought. But I had not known sin, unless by law: for I had not had conscience also of lust unless the law had said, Thou shalt not lust;
8 Hianagi kumimo'a ama ana kasegefinti kankamunku keno tavu masevemahu tavesizana, tagu'afina erifore nehie. Kasegema omanesigeno'a kumimo'a hankave'a omanesigeno frigahie.
but sin, getting a point of attack by the commandment, wrought in me every lust; for without law sin [was] dead.
9 Kasegema ontahinorera nasimu erina mani'noane. Hianagi kasegema egeno'a kumimo'a asimu erino mani'gena nagra fri'noe.
But I was alive without law once; but the commandment having come, sin revived, but I died.
10 Ana kasegemofo eri'zana vahe'mofo asimu ami'zanagi, nagra kasegefintira nasimura e'noruanki, kasegemo'a nahenefrie.
And the commandment, which [was] for life, was found, [as] to me, itself [to be] unto death:
11 Na'ankure kumimo'a kasegefinti kankamuma'a keno erifore huno renavatga higeno kumimo'a nahe fri'ne.
for sin, getting a point of attack by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew [me].
12 Hianagi kasegemo'a ruotge higeno, kasegema hunte'neana ruotage huno fatgo huno knare hu'ne.
So that the law indeed [is] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Hianagi inankna hugahie, kasegema knarezane nehuazamo nahe nefrifi? I'o, kumi'mo'a knare zampinti frizana erifore nehie. Hu'negu kumi'mo'a haviza hu'ne huno Anumzamo'a kasegea eri taveri higeta negone.
Did then that which is good become death to me? Far be the thought. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death to me by that which is good; in order that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14 Hu'negu kasegefina hazenkea omane'ne, na'ankure mopare navufga eri'na mani'nogu kumimofo kazokzo eri'za vahe' mizante atreankna nehue.
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am fleshly, sold under sin.
15 Nagra'ama nehua navunavara kena antahina nosue. Na'ankure nagra fatgo zama hunakurema huazana nosue. Hianagi navesarama hunte'na osugahue hu'na huaza nehue.
For that which I do, I do not own: for not what I will, this I do; but what I hate, this I practise.
16 Hianagi nagri'ma navenosia zama hanuna, Anumzamofo kasegemo knare hu'ne hugahue.
But if what I do not will, this I practise, I consent to the law that [it is] right.
17 E'ina hu'negu nagrani'a kefozana nosuanki, kumimo nagu'afi me'neno ana kefozana nehie.
Now then [it is] no longer I [that] do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
18 Higena nagra antahi'noe, knare zana nagu'afina omane'ne. Knare zana hu'nakure hu'na nentahuanagi, anazana hugara nosue.
For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, good does not dwell: for to will is there with me, but to do right [I find] not.
19 Nagrama knare'zama hugahuema huazana nosue, hagi havizama osugahue huaza nehue.
For I do not practise the good that I will; but the evil I do not will, that I do.
20 Hagi menima osnuema huazama nehuana, e'i nagrani'a nosue. Hianagi nagu'afina kumi'mo me'neno, anazana erifore nehie.
But if what I do not will, this I practise, [it is] no longer I [that] do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
21 E'ina hu'negu nagrama koana, e'inahu avu'avamo'a nagrira nagu'afina me'neankina fatgo zama hunakure hua zana nosue.
I find then the law upon me who will to practise what is right, that with me evil is there.
22 Nagra Anumzamofo kasegea ana miko nagu'areti navesinentoe.
For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man:
23 Hianagi nagu'afina ru kasege me'nea zamo antahintahini'anena hara nehie, e'i ana kasegemo nagu'afi me'neno nazeri kumi'mofo kasegere kina vahe'nenante.
but I see another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members.
24 Nagra haviza hu'na keforenoanki, iza ama fri navufga naza hugahie?
O wretched man that I [am]! who shall deliver me out of this body of death?
25 Nagra Jisas Kraisi Rantimofompi Anumzamofona muse huntoe, Anumzamofo kasegea antahintahini'areti amage nentuanagi, amega navufgamo'a kumimofo kazokzo eri'za e'nerie.
I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I myself with the mind serve God's law; but with the flesh sin's law.
