1 Rempima huramisua zana vahe'nimota antahiho, nanekema tamasmisuana tamagesa ante'neta antahiho.
A contemplation by Asaph. Hear my teaching, my people. Turn your ears to the words of my mouth.
2 Na'ankure nagra mago fronka ke tamasamigahue. Rempima huramiga zantamima korapama oku'ama me'nea zantmi rempi huramigahue.
I will open my mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old,
which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
4 Hagi ama ana tamage nanekea, mofavretirera frara okigosunanki, Ra Anumzamo'ma hihamu hankave'anuti'ma ruzahu ruzahu kaguva zantmima erifore'ma hu'nea zantamina, menima fore'ma nehaza vahetmina zamasamigahune.
We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, his strength, and his wondrous deeds that he has done.
For he established a covenant in Jacob, and appointed a teaching in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;
that the generation to come might know, even the children who should be born; who should arise and tell their children,
that they might set their hope in God, and not forget God’s deeds, but keep his commandments,
8 E'ina nehu'za zamagehemo'zama zamagu'ama eri hanavemati'naza zana nosu'za, hara renonte'za, kea antahi'za avarari fatgo nosu'za, zamagu'a Anumzamofona omi'nazanknara osugahaze.
and might not be as their fathers— a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that didn’t make their hearts loyal, whose spirit was not steadfast with God.
The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
10 Zamagrama huhagerafi huvempa kema Anumzanema hu'nazankea runetagre'za, kasege'ama avarari zankura zamavaresra hu'naze.
They didn’t keep God’s covenant, and refused to walk in his law.
11 Anumzamo'ma maka ruzahu ruzahu zama zamaveri'ma hu'nea zankura zamagenekani'za, kagu'vazama hu'nea zankura zamagesa ontahi'naze.
They forgot his doings, his wondrous deeds that he had shown them.
12 Hagi Zoani kaziga Isipi mopafina zamafahe'mofo zamavufina, Agra ruzahukna kaguvaza erifore hu'ne.
He did marvellous things in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
13 Na'ankure Agra hagerina amu'nompinti eri ataneno, kana eri fore huno zamavreno kantu kaziga vigeno, timo'a emare hihi huno mareri'ne.
He split the sea, and caused them to pass through. He made the waters stand as a heap.
14 Hagi masafi'na hamponteti kana zamaveri huno zamavareno nevuno, maka hanimpina teve anefanu remsa huzmanteno zamavareno vu'ne.
In the daytime he also led them with a cloud, and all night with a light of fire.
15 Ka'ma kopina Agra havea rutaneno tina zamigeno, timo'a krohupeno ege'za ne'naze.
He split rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink abundantly as out of the depths.
16 Hagi Agra neone tintamina erifore higeno, havefintira hanatino tirantima eviaza huno enevie.
He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.
Yet they still went on to sin against him, to rebel against the Most High in the desert.
18 Zamagra zamagu'areti hu'za Anumzamofona rehe'za nege'za, zamavesi zmavesima nehia nezankura Anumzamofona antahige'naze.
They tempted God in their heart by asking food according to their desire.
Yes, they spoke against God. They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?
20 Tamage Agra havea rutanegeno timo'a krohupeno evuno aviteno megahianagi, Agra bretine ame'anena vahe'a zamigahifi?
Behold, he struck the rock, so that waters gushed out, and streams overflowed. Can he give bread also? Will he provide meat for his people?”
21 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'ma ana nanekema nentahigeno'a, arimpama ahe'zamo'a teveregeno Jekopu nagara teve krenerasegeno, mago'a Israeli vahe'mokizmia tevereti krerasage'ne.
Therefore the LORD heard, and was angry. A fire was kindled against Jacob, anger also went up against Israel,
because they didn’t believe in God, and didn’t trust in his salvation.
23 Hianagi Agra monamofonkura kafana anagio, higeno monamo'a kafana anagino erihagro hu'ne.
Yet he commanded the skies above, and opened the doors of heaven.
He rained down manna on them to eat, and gave them food from the sky.
Man ate the bread of angels. He sent them food to the full.
26 Zage hanati kaziga zahora huntegeno monafina zahora erino enevigeno, Agra'a hihamu'areti sauti kaziga zahora azeri fatgo higeno Agra antahia kantera nevie.
He caused the east wind to blow in the sky. By his power he guided the south wind.
27 Agra monafinti ame'a atregeno eramino mopafina kugusopamo hihi huno mareriankna nehigeno, namama zmi'neana namaramimo'a rama'a hu'za hagerinkena kasepagna hu'naze.
He also rained meat on them as the dust, winged birds as the sand of the seas.
28 Ana namaramina Anumzamo'a higeno seli noma ki'za mani'naza amu'nompine, seli noma ki'zama nemanizafinena erami erami hu'naze.
He let them fall in the middle of their camp, around their habitations.
So they ate, and were well filled. He gave them their own desire.
30 Hianagi ana ne'zana nevaga orenazageno, ana ne'zamo'a zahufa zamagipi me'nege'no,
They didn’t turn from their cravings. Their food was yet in their mouths,
31 Anumzamo'a ana vahetamina tusi arimpa ahe'zmanteno hankavenentake vahezmia zamahehna hu'ne. Hagi hankavenentake Israeli nehazaveramina zamahehna hu'ne.
when the anger of God went up against them, killed some of their strongest, and struck down the young men of Israel.
For all this they still sinned, and didn’t believe in his wondrous works.
33 E'ina hazageno ame' huno zamazeri haviza hige'za amne zankna nehazageno, zamazeri koro hige'za koro hu'naze.
Therefore he consumed their days in vanity, and their years in terror.
When he killed them, then they enquired after him. They returned and sought God earnestly.
They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God, their redeemer.
36 Hianagi ana maka zama hu'nazana zamagiteti hu'nazanki tamage hu'za zamagu'a omi'naze. Zamagra amne zamagiteti havige hu'naze.
But they flattered him with their mouth, and lied to him with their tongue.
37 Zmagu'amo'a tamagea huno Anumzamofontera hankvetino omnene. Ana hige'za Anumzanema huhagerafi'naza huvempa kea kegava osu'za ru hantagi'naze.
For their heart was not right with him, neither were they faithful in his covenant.
38 Hianagi Anumzamo'a asunku Anumzankino kumizmia atrenezmanteno, zamahe fri vagaore'ne. Rama'a knafi rimpahe'zana azenerino, zamahe vaga ore'ne.
But he, being merciful, forgave iniquity, and didn’t destroy them. Yes, many times he turned his anger away, and didn’t stir up all his wrath.
39 Ana nehuno vahekura amne vahetfa mani'naze huno agesa antahi'ne.
He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes away, and doesn’t come again.
40 Hagi hagage kokampima mani'neza rama'a zupa Ra Anumzamofona hararenentazageno arimpa knanena mani'ne.
How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness, and grieved him in the desert!
41 Hagi mago'ane Ra Anumzamofona rehe'za nege'za Israeli vahe ruotge Anumzamofona rimpagna erimi vava hu'za vu'naze.
They turned again and tempted God, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.
They didn’t remember his hand, nor the day when he redeemed them from the adversary;
43 Isipi mopafima ruzahu ruzahu kaguvazama erifore nehuno, Zoani kazigama knare huno mareri agatere'nea ruzahu ruzahu kaguvazama eri fore'ma hu'nea zankura zamagesa nontahizageno,
how he set his signs in Egypt, his wonders in the field of Zoan,
44 Agra tirazmia eri rukrahe higeno korasege'za ana tintetira tina one'naze.
he turned their rivers into blood, and their streams, so that they could not drink.
45 Agra tusi'a kosintami huzmantege'za kregre hu'za nezamampri'zageno, hogatmi huntege'za rama'a hazenkea zami'naze.
He sent amongst them swarms of flies, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
He also gave their increase to the caterpillar, and their labour to the locust.
47 Agra ranra komopa ko atregeno waini zafa zamia ahe haviza nehigeno, neonse komopa ko atregeno, sikamo zafazmia ahe haviza hu'ne.
He destroyed their vines with hail, their sycamore fig trees with frost.
48 Hagi Agra bulimakao afuzmia ranra komopa ko atregeno zamahe nefrigeno, kopsina atregeno trazama nenaza afuzagama kegavama hu'nazana zamaheno eri vagare'ne.
He also gave over their livestock to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
49 Agra tusi'a arimpa ahe'nezmanteno, vahe'ma zamazeri haviza hu ankero vahetamina mago'a huzmantege'za, zamazeri haviza nehu'za zamahe fri'nagura e'naze.
He threw on them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, indignation, and trouble, and a band of angels of evil.
50 Agra arimpa ahezamofo kana retro huno magore huno Isipi vahetmina zamagura ovazi'neanki, knazana zamino zamazeri haviza hu'ne.
He made a path for his anger. He didn’t spare their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence,
51 Isipi vahetmimofo nompintira ese ne' mofavreramina Agra zamahe fri'ne. Hamu nagamokizmi zamagonesa mofavreramina agra zamahe fri'ne.
and struck all the firstborn in Egypt, the chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.
52 Hianagi Anumzamo'a Agra'a vahetmina sipisipi afutmima vugoteno avreno'ma viankna huno hagege kokampina kegve huzmante so'e huno zamavareno vu'ne.
But he led out his own people like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
53 Agra'a kegava huzamanteno zamavareno vige'za zamagra korora osu'naze. Hianagi ha' vahe'zmimo'za hagerimpina ti nakri'naze.
He led them safely, so that they weren’t afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
He brought them to the border of his sanctuary, to this mountain, which his right hand had taken.
He also drove out the nations before them, allotted them for an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.
56 Hianagi zamagra Anumzamofona rehe'za nege'za, Marerirfa Anumzana ha' renente'za, kasege'a ovarari'naze.
Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, and didn’t keep his testimonies,
57 Zamagra Anumzamofona zmagena hunemi'za, zamagehemo'zama hu'nazaza hu'za Anumzamofona avarari fatgo osazageno, ati amagenamo'ma kazakiankna huno zmavu'zamava zmimo'a kazaki'naze.
but turned back, and dealt treacherously like their fathers. They were twisted like a deceitful bow.
For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their engraved images.
59 Hanki Anumzamo'ma ana nanekema nentahino'a tusi arimpa ahegeno, Israeli vahera amefi huzamino zamatre vagare'ne.
When God heard this, he was angry, and greatly abhorred Israel,
60 Ana nehuno Silo kumate'ma seli mono noma'afima nemaniretira atreno vu'ne. Vahe amu'nompima seli noma'afima nemaniretira atreno vu'ne.
so that he abandoned the tent of Shiloh, the tent which he placed amongst men,
61 Agra huhagerafi huvempage vogisia ha' vahe zamazampi antege'za eri'za kumazmirega vu'naze. Agri hihamu hankvema huvame huno me'nea zana ha' vahemoza eri'za ome antene'za ana zamofona ke amne zankna hu'naze.
and delivered his strength into captivity, his glory into the adversary’s hand.
He also gave his people over to the sword, and was angry with his inheritance.
63 Kasefa nehazaveramina tevemofo neza nesazageno, kasefa mofaneramimo'zama vema erisaza vene'nea omanige'za, masinezmante'zama nehaza zagamera osu'naze.
Fire devoured their young men. Their virgins had no wedding song.
64 Hagi pristi vahera bainati kazinteti zamahe vagarazage'za, ana pristi vahe'mokizmi kento aneramimo'za zamasunkura hu'za zavira ote'naze.
Their priests fell by the sword, and their widows couldn’t weep.
65 Vahe'mo'zama mase'nazafinti'ma otizaza huno Ra Anumzamo'a oti'ne. Hanave sondia ne'mo'ma hanave waini tima neteno, neginagima huno mase'nereti'ma otiankna huno oti'ne.
Then the Lord awakened as one out of sleep, like a mighty man who shouts by reason of wine.
66 Ha' vahe'aramina Agra zamahe panani hige'za ete freza nevazageno, zamagazema huvavama hu'are zamazeri haviza hu'ne.
He struck his adversaries backward. He put them to a perpetual reproach.
67 Hianagi Josefe nagara avesra huzmanteno nezmatreno, Efraemi naga nofi'enema mani'zankura avresra hu'ne.
Moreover he rejected the tent of Joseph, and didn’t choose the tribe of Ephraim,
68 Hianagi Juda naga huhamprino zamagrane umani'ne. Na'ankure Agra Saioni agonagu avesi'ne.
But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.
69 E'i anante ruotgema hu'nea mono noma'a Agra kisga huno kintegeno, anagamu marerino monarega mareri'ne. Ana nehuno ana nomofo tra'ama ante'neana mopamo'ma hanavetiankna huno hanaveti'neankino mevava hugahie.
He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he has established forever.
70 Agra eri'za vahe'a Deviti huhamprinteno, sipisipi afu keginafinti ke higeno e'ne.
He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;
71 Anumzamo'a Devitima avre'neana a sipisipine amima nenea anenta'aramima kegavama nehia eri'zampinti avreno Jekopu agehemofo, Ra Anumzamo'a Agra'a feno zama'agna huno huhampri'nea Israeli vahe'a kegava hu eri'zana ami'ne.
from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.
72 Hagi Deviti'a maka agu'areti'ene maka zama tro'ma hu'are'ma antahi ani'ma hu'nea ne'kino, Israeli vahera kegava hu'ne.
So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.
