1 Ra Anumzamo'a nagri tavi mani'neno, nagu'vazi ne' mani'neankina, nagra na'anku korora hugahue? Ra Anumzamo'a nagrira hankave vihuni'a mani'neanki'na, na'anku nagra nahirahikura hugahue?
“Of David.” The Lord is my light and my salvation; of whom shall I be afraid? the Lord is the fortress of my life; of whom shall I have dread?
2 Hanki havi avu'ava zama nehaza vahe'mo'zama nazeri haviza hunaku erava'o nehanageno, ha' vahe'nimo'za nahenaku egahazanagi, ana vahe'mo'za traka hu'za masegahaze.
When evil-doers come near against me to eat up my flesh, my assailants and my enemies at me: then do they stumble and fall.
3 Rama'a sondia vahe kerafamo'za nahenaku kafo eme ante'za navazagi kagigahazanagi, nagra korora osugahue. Ha' vahenimo'za hara agafa hu'za eme hunantegahazanagi, Ra Anumzamofonku amuhara hugahue.
If an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: if war should arise against me, even then will I have trust.
4 Ra Anumzamofona mago zanku antahigesue, Knare nagrira natresanigena kasefa'ma hu'nama manisnua kna'afina, Agri nompina manivava nehu'na, knare avu'ava'a nege'na, musena hunente'na Agri mono nompi mani'nena kama naverima hanigura kegahue.
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that I will seek for: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the loveliness of the Lord, and to be every morning early in his temple.
5 Hanki hazenke zama esania knafina, Agra'a navre franekino, Agra'a seli mono nompi navre frakigahie. Ana nehuno navresga huno onagamu'a have agofetu nantesige'na knare hu'na manigahue.
For he will hide me in his pavilion on the day of evil; he will conceal me in the secret of his tabernacle; upon a rock will he place me high.
6 Anama hanige'na nagri'ma nazeri kagi'naza ha' vaheni'a naza hanige'na hara huzmagetenerena, ranke hu'na musenkase nehu'na, Ra Anumzamofo mono nompina ofa kresramna vugahue. Ana nehu'na zavena ahe'na zagamera Ra Anumzamofontega hugahue.
And now will my head be lifted up above my enemies all round about me; and I will sacrifice in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy: I will sing, and I will triumphantly play unto the Lord.
7 Ra Anumzamoka naza huogu'ma kagritegama nunamuma nehanugenka, kasunku hunantenka nunamuni'a antahinamio.
Hear, O Lord, my voice, [when] I call, and be gracious unto me, and answer me.
8 Nagu'amo'a agritega nunamu hunka agriku hako huno hige'na, nagra Ra Anumzamokarega nunamuna nehue.
Of thee, said my heart, “Seek ye my presence”: thy presence, Lord, will I seek.
9 Ra Anumzamoka kamefira hunaminka kavugosa rukrahera nehunka, eri'za vahekamo'na krimpa aheonanto. Na'ankure kagra ko'ma nagu'vazinka e'nana Anumza mani'nananki, kamefira hunaminka onatrenka, nagu'vazinka nazahuo.
Hide [then] not thy face from me; reject not in anger thy servant, thou [who] hast been my help: cast me not off, nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 Nenfa'ene nenrera'enena zanamefira hunamigaha'anagi, Ra Anumzamo'a navareno kegava hunantegahie.
For my father and my mother have forsaken me; but the Lord will take me up.
11 Ra Anumzamoka Kagra'a kavukvara rempi hunamio. Ha' vaheni'amo'za kafonte'za mani'nazanki, kegava hunantenka navrenka knare huno fatgo hu'nea kantera vuo.
Point me out thy way, O Lord! and guide me on a level path, because of those that regard me enviously.
12 Nagrira natrege'na ha' vahe'nimofo zamazampina va'nenkeno zamagri'ma zamavesi'niaza hu'za nazeri havizana osiho. Na'ankure ana vahe'mo'za nagrira havige hunante'za e'za nazeri koro nehaze.
Give me not up to the [revengeful] desire of my assailants; for there are risen up against me false witnesses, and such as utter violence.
13 Tamagerfa hu'na namentintima huana, henka'a Ra Anumzamofo knare'zana, nagrama mani'nama vanua knafina kegahue.
Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of life—
14 Ra Anumzamofonku avega antenka mani'nenka, oti hankavetinenka atregeno kagu'amo'a hankave enerisnigenka, Ra Anumzamo'ma kazama hanigu akohenka mani'nenka aveganto.
Wait on the Lord; be strong, and let thy heart be of good courage; and only wait on the Lord.
