< Mani'zanti Mofo Nanekee 8 >
1 Knare antahintahi'zamo'ene antahi amahu antahi'zamo'a mago a'kna hu'neankino agerura eri antesga huno kezana netie.
Behold, wisdom calleth, and understanding sendeth forth her voice,
2 Agra kamofo tavaonte me'nea agonare, ka hatana hu'nefi oti'neno,
On the top of high places, by the wayside, at the house where there are [many] paths doth she place herself.
3 rankumapi ufre'nea kante ene kampi otineno ranke huno kezana netie.
Alongside of gates, at the opening of the city, at the entrance of the town[-doors] doth she call loudly,
4 Ana miko vahe'motmagu kezankea nehue. Vahe'motagu kezankea nehue.
Unto you, O men, I call, and my voice [goeth forth] to the sons of men,
5 Antahi'zantmi omane vahe'motma eta knare'ma huno refakomahu antahi'zana emeriho. Neginagi antahi'zane vahe'motma, eta antahi amahu antahi'zana emeriho.
Learn, O ye simple, to understand prudence: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Kama antahiho kema nehuana, na'ankure mareri agatere'nea zanku nehue, maka nanekema hanua kemo'a, fatgo huno tamage kege tamasamigahue.
Hear! for of noble things will I speak; and the opening of my lips shall be of what is equitable.
7 Nagra tamage kege nehu'na, havi kegagama nagipinti'ma hu'zankura nagonete.
For truth uttereth my palate ever, and the abomination of my lips is wickedness.
8 Maka nanekenimo'a tamage huno fatgo higeno, krunagene kazaki kema hu'zana omane'neanki,
In righteousness are all the sayings of my mouth, there is in them nothing crooked or perverse.
9 ana maka kemo'a antahi'zane vahetera fatgo hu'ne. Ana antahi'zama erinaku'ma hakaza vahetera, fatgo hu'ne.
They are all evident to the man of understanding, and correct to those that have obtained knowledge.
10 Nagrama hiho hu'nama rempima huneramua kemo'a, silva agateregeno, antahi'zama eri'zamo'a, goli'a agatere'neanki eriho.
Accept my correction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
11 Na'ankure knare antahi'zamo'a mareri agatere'nea havea agatereno, kavesi kavesima nehunka razane hunka nehanazana agatere'ne.
For wisdom is better than pearls; and all the things that men wish for are not equal to her.
12 Nagra knare antahi'zamo'na knare huno refakohu avu'ava'zane nemanue, Nagripi antahi'zana me'neanki'na miko zana nagrake refko hu'na negoe.
I wisdom dwell with prudence, and the knowledge of discreet thoughts do I discover.
13 Ra Anumzamofonku'ma koro'ma hunte'zana kefo avu'ava'ma huzankura kagotegahie. Agra'a agima erisga nehuno, avufga ra nehuno, havi avu'ava nehuno, akrahe akrehe ageru'ma aru'zana navesra hunentoe.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, pride and arrogance, and the evil way: and the mouth of perverseness do I hate.
14 Knare antahi'zama ami'zane, refakoma hu'zana nagripi me'ne. Nagra antahi ama'ma hu'zane hanavenena nagri zane.
Mine are counsel and sound wisdom: I am understanding; mine is might.
15 Nagra mani'noge'za kini vahe'mo'za kegava nehazageno, ugota kva vahe'mo'za fatgo hu'nea kasegea retro nehaze.
Through me do kings reign, and chieftains give decrees [in] righteousness.
16 Kva vahe'mo'za nagra zamaza nehuge'za, vahera zamavare fatgo hu'za nevazageno, trakere kva vahe'mo'za fatgo hu'za refkoa nehaze.
Through me do princes rule, and the nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
17 Iza'o nagri'ma avesi nentemofona, nagra avesi nentoe. Hagi nagriku'ma hakre'nimo'a, nagrira nagefore hugahie.
I indeed love those that love me: and those that seek me earnestly shall find me.
18 Nagripi fenozane, ra agima eri'zana me'ne. Hanavetino za'zate'ma meno vu fenozane, fatgo avu'ava zana nagripi me'ne.
Riches and honor are with me, yea, enduring wealth and righteousness.
19 Nagrama nezamua zamo'a, golia agatenereno knare silvama mizama nesazazana agatere'ne.
My fruit is better than gold, and than fine gold; and my products, than choice silver.
20 Nagra fatgo avu'ava zamofo kante nevu'na, fatgo huno refakoma hu'zamofo kantamimpi nevue.
On the road of righteousness do I walk firmly, in the midst the paths of justice:
21 Iza'zo nagri'ma zamavesi nantesaza naga'mo'za, fenona erisanti neharesage'na, nagra feno nozamifina zago'amo'ma mareri zantamina antevi tezamantegahue.
That I may cause those that love me to inherit a lasting possession; and their treasures will I fill
22 Ra Anumzamo'a pusazana nagri nazeri fore huteno, mika'zana henka tro hu'ne.
The Lord created me as the beginning of his way, the first of his works from the commencement,
23 Korapara ama mopama tro osu'neno ese zana nagri huhamprinante'ne.
From eternity was I appointed chief, from the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth.
24 Nagra fore hutogeno henka hagerina tro higeno, kampui tintamimo'a hanatino vu'ne.
When there were yet no depths, was I brought forth; when there were yet no springs laden heavily with water.
25 Ranra agonane, onensa agona forera huno menima antenerera omanenege'na, nagra pusante fore hu'noe.
Before the mountains were yet sunk down, before the hills was I brought forth:
26 Miko mopane, hofa kokama ama mopafi me'neane, kugusopa nazana henka tro hu'ne.
While as yet he had not made the land and open fields, nor the chief of the dust of the world.
27 Nagra korapa mani'nogeno monarera mika'zana tro hunenteno, hagerina tro huntegeno, tavumo'ma ometre emetre'ma hutera evu'ne.
When he prepared the heavens, I was there; when he drew a circle over the face of the deep;
28 Nagra ko mani'nogeno anagamua hampona tro hunenteno, tinkampu'ima hanatino tiru'ma umarenia keria tro hu'ne.
When he fastened the skies above; when the springs of the deep became strong;
29 Nagra korapa mani'nogeno hagerinkura, e'i avamente tirura marenka emetro huno kase hunenteno, tiru'ma maresia mopa trohu'ne.
When he assigned to the sea his decree, that the waters should not transgress his order: when he established firmly the foundations of the earth:
30 Nagra maka'zama tro'ma hu'nea Ne'mofo tavaonte mani'ne'na, aza nehugeno muse nehige'na maka kna nagranena rama'a muse nehue.
Then was I near him, as a nursling: and I was day by day [his] delights, playing before him at all times;
31 Maka kokama tro'ma hu'nea zanku'ene vahe'ma anampima mani'nea zankura, nagra tusi'a muse nehue.
Playing in the world, his earth; and having my delights with the sons of men.
32 E'ina hu'negu mofavre'nimoka ke'ni'a antahinamio, na'ankure nagri navu'nava zama avaririsaza vahe'mo'za muse hugahaze.
And now, O children [of men], hearken unto me! for happy those that observe my ways.
33 Kavumro'ma antesua kea nentahinka, ama antahi'zana e'nerinka kavesra huontenka amage anto.
Hear correction, and be wise, and reject it not.
34 Ke'ni'ama nentahi'za, kumanimofo atirami kante'ma knane knanema naveganente'za, kahani'are'ma navegama nentaza vahe'mo'za, tusi muse hugahaze.
Happy is the man that hearkeneth unto me, watching day by day at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 Na'ankure nagriku'ma hakremo'a, nomaniza hakeno erifore nehigeno, Ra Anumzamo'a avesinente.
For he who findeth me findeth life, and he obtaineth favor from the Lord.
36 Hianagi ha'marenanteno kumi'ma nehimo'a, agra'a hazenke enerie. Iza'o avesrama hunantemo'a, fri'zamofo avesinente.
But he that sinneth against me doth violence to his own soul: all those that hate me love death.
