< Mani'zanti Mofo Nanekee 7 >
1 Mofavre'nimoke, Keni'a nentahinka, kasegeni'a eri kagu'afi antegeno raza segantena kva huo.
My son, observe my sayings, and my commandments must thou treasure up with thee.
2 Kasegeni'ama amage antesanana kagra kasefa hunka nemaninka, rempima hugamisua zana kavurgama kegava nehanankna hunka kegava huo.
Observe my commandments, and live: and my teaching as the apple of thy eyes.
3 Kazeri kagesa hanigu rini kazampi antaniankna hunka kantu kagu'afi tumoka'are krento.
Bind them around thy fingers, write them upon the table of thy heart.
4 Knare antahintahigura nensaro'e nehunka, antahi amahu antahintahigura nenafu'e hunka huo.
Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:
5 Ve'ama mani'nesia a'mo'ma kazeri savri'ma hu'zama nehinkeno'a, ana kemo'a kaza nehina rugazigati a'mo'ma kazeri savri hunaku'ma masavenkema nehanigeno'a, anankemo'a kagu'vazigahie.
That they may keep thee from an adulterous woman, from an alien that useth flattering speeches.
6 Mago zupa mani'ne'na noniamofona zaho eri kampinti negogeno,
For through the window of my house, through my lattice did I [once] look out,
7 mago'a nehazave enevazafina kogeno amuno zamifina, mago nehaza ne'kanora, knare antahi'zama'a omane'nea ne' ke'noe.
And I beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a lad void of sense;
8 Agra monko'amofo nontava'onte vu'nea nonkaranka nevuno, ana a'mofo nonte vu'nea kampi ufreno vu'ne.
He was passing through the market-place near her corner; and he stepped along on the way to her house,
9 Hanima huku'ma nehigeno hanimo'ma rentrako huzahifi anara hu'ne.
In the twilight, in the evening of the day, in the depth of the night and when it was dark:
10 Ana a'mo'ma kukenama hu'neana monko a'nemo'za nehazankna kukena hu'neno, ana ne'ma masavenkema asamino azeri savri'ma hanigura e'ne.
And, behold, a woman came to meet him with the attire of a harlot, and obdurate of heart.
11 Ana a'mo'a kehagra hagra nehuno, nontera manirava oheno kankekanke nehige'za, rama vahe'mo'za ke'za antahi'za hu'naza are.
(She is noisy and ungovernable; in her house her feet never rest;
12 Ana a'mo'a hakarea zupa kampine, maketi kumapine, maka kaziga mani'neno vene'nema evazageno'a rezamaheno zamavazuma hanigu negea akino,
At one time she is in the street, at another in the open places, and near every corner doth she lurk, )
13 ana nehaza nera azeri anukiazamo antako hunenteno, avufga azeri oti'are avunutira negeno anage hu'ne,
And she caught hold of him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face she said to him,
14 Nagra menina narimpa fruma eri kresramana vugeno, huvempama hunte'noa kemo'a raga re'ne.
“I had bound myself to bring peace-offerings; this day have I paid my vows:
15 Hu'negu kagriku hakare'na kagenaku oregati hago eme kage'na eri forehue.
Therefore am I come forth to meet thee, to seek thy presence diligently, and I have found thee.
16 Isipi vahe'mokizmi pse'ane tavravereti mase tafera hunte'noe.
With tapestry coverings have I decked my bed, with embroidered coverlids of the fine linen of Egypt.
17 Hago knare manama vuzantamina miama, aloima, sinamoninu mase tafepina rutri hu'na ahemna vunte'noe.
I have sprinkled my couch with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
18 Hagi egeta umaseneta, zokagora nereta musena nehanukeno ko'aturanteno.
Come, let us indulge in love until the morning: let us delight ourselves with dalliances.
19 Nenave'a nontera omani'neanki, hago afete ka vu'ne.
For the man is not in his house, he is gone on a journey a great way off:
20 Zgomo'a ku'afina avite'negeno vu'neankino kora omegosianki ama ikamofona amu'nontega esia kante vu'ne.
The bag of money hath he taken with him, by the day of the new-moon festival only will he come home.”
21 Ana a'mo'a masavenkema asamino avresia nanekea, rama'a naneke asami'ne.
She seduced him by the abundance of her reasoning: by the flattery of her lips she misguided him.
22 Ana ne'mo'a ame huno ve bulimakao afu aheku avazu hu'za nevazankna huno ana a'mofona avaririno vu'ne.
He followed after her suddenly, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, and as in fetters to his correction, the fool:
23 Kevemo'ma tumo'ruragino ahesnia zankura agesa ana ne'mo'a nontahino, agra namamo hareno krifu anagintepi ufreankna nehuno, ahe frisia zankura nontahie.
Till an arrow cleaveth through his liver; as a bird hasteneth into the snare, and knoweth not that it is done to take his life.
24 Hanki mofavre'nimote, tamagesa anteso'e hutma nanekeni'a antahiho,
And now, O children, hearken unto me, and listen to the sayings of my mouth.
25 Atrenkeno tamagu'amo'a ana a'mofo kerera amagera ontege, kavareno agri kantera ovino.
Let not thy heart turn aside to her ways, do not go astray on her paths.
26 Na'ankure ana a'mo'a rama'a vene'ne zamazeri haviza nehuno, zamahe fri'ne.
For many deadly wounded hath she caused to fall: yea, very numerous are all those slain by her.
27 Hagi ana a'mofo nona fri vahe kerimofo ranka me'neankino, ana kamo'a fri vahe kumapi urami'ne. (Sheol )
The ways to the nether world is her house leading down to the chambers of death. (Sheol )
