Mani'zanti Mofo Nanekee 26
1 Neginagi vahe'ma ragima amizamo'a, zage knafi ko' ariankna nehigeno, ne'zamo afure knafi ko' ariankna huno knarera nosie.
As dew in harvest, and as rain in summer, so honour is not [seemly] for a fool.
2 Mago'mo'ma hazenkema osu'nenigeno kazusi hunte kema hanigeno'a, ana kazusi kemo'a kisave namamo mika zupa manigsa osuno hareno vano vano nehiankna huno, vahetera ana kazusi kemo'a forera osugahie.
As birds and sparrows fly, so a curse shall not come upon any one without a cause.
3 Hosi afura sefu knonu ahe'za azeri ante fatgo nehazageno, donki afumofona aeni zamagipina rente'naza zante zamavazu hu'za zamazeri fatgo nehaze. Hagi neginagi vahera kanonteti zamagumpi zamahe'za zamazeri fatgo hugahaze.
As a whip for a horse, and a goad for an ass, so [is] a rod for a simple nation.
4 Neginagi vahe'mofona neginagi naneke zamirera kenona huozamanto, anama hananana zamagri kna hunka neginagi vahe manigahane.
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you become like him.
5 Antahiso'e hutenka neginagi vahe'mo'za, neginagi nanekema hanaza nanekerera, kenona zmia huzamanto, ru zamagra antahisazana knare antahiza eri'none hugahaze.
Yet answer a fool according to his folly, lest he seem wise in his own conceit.
6 Neginagi vahe'mofoma katogema huntesankeno kema erino vaniazamo'a, mago kaga akafri atreankna nehuno, avuatga ti neankna hugahane.
He that sends a message by a foolish messenger procures for himself a reproach from his own ways.
7 Neginagi vahe'mo'ma knare nomanizamofo nanekema hu'zamo'a, vahe'mofoma frino sti'nea agamo eri'za e'oriankna huno, ana naneke'amo'a erizana e'origahie.
[As well] take away the motion of the legs, as transgression from the mouth of fools.
8 Neginagi antahi'zane vahe'ma ra zamagima zmizamo'a, kumi'atifima have erinteno ahe atrenaku anteankna nehie.
He that binds up a stone in a sling, is like one that gives glory to a fool.
9 Neginagi antahi'zane vahe'mo'zama knare nomanizamofo naneke hanazana, negi ti neno neginagi hu'nea vahe'mo, ave'ave nofi azampi azerineno traka truku huno vano hiankna nehie.
Thorns grow in the hand of a drunkard, and servitude in the hand of fools.
10 Neginagi antahi'zane vahe'ene karankama enevanaza vahe'ma zagore'ma eri'za erisazegu'ma zamavaresia zamo'a, keve ome ahetre emehetre huno rama'a vahe zamaheankna hugahie.
All the flesh of fools endures much hardship; for their fury is brought to nothing.
11 Kramo'ma amu'ma atitrenere'ma eteno viaza hu'za neginagi vahe'mo'za koma nehaza neginagi zamavu'zmavara hutere nehaze.
As when a dog goes to his own vomit, and becomes abominable, so is fool who returns in his wickedness to his own sin. [There is a shame that brings sin: and there is a shame [that is] glory and grace.]
12 Neginagi vahe'mo'za amuhama hazazamo'a, ama' antahi'zane vahe'ma mani'none hu'za antahiza vahera zamagateneraze.
I have seen a man who seemed to himself to be wise; but a fool had more hope than he.
13 Kampine ra kumamofo kantamimpina ha' zaga laioni manine hu'za feru vahe'mo'za nehaze!
A sluggard when sent on a journey says, [There is] a lion in the ways, and [there are] murderers in the streets.
14 Kafamo'ma hantintenare'ma me'neno anagino erigino hiankna hu'za, feru vahe'mo'za nemasaza tafe zamire, rukrahe rukrahe nehaze.
As a door turns on the hinge, so does a sluggard on his bed.
15 Feru vahe'mo'a ne'zama ante tafepintira ne'zana erigahianagi, agipina erinteno nezankura avesra hugahie.
A sluggard having hid his hand in his bosom, will not be able to bring it up to his mouth.
16 Feru vahe'mo'a agragu'ma antahiana, 7nia knare antahi'zane vahera, nagra zamagetere'noe huno nentahie.
A sluggard seems to himself wiser than one who most satisfactorily brings back a message.
17 Rumozama ha' frama nehazafima, anintaka huno kema hu'zamo'a, kramofo agesare avazu huno viankna nehie.
As he that lays hold of a dog's tail, so is he that makes himself the champion of another's cause.
18 Tava'oma'are nemanimofoma revatga nehuno, kiza zokago ke hugantoe huno'ma nehimo'a, negi ne'mo teve nerea keve ome ahetre eme ahetre hiankna nehie.
As those who need correction put forth [fair] words to men, and he that first falls in with the proposal will be overthrown;
so are all that lay wait for their own friends, and when they are discovered, say, I did it in jest.
20 Hagege teve rampama omanesigeno'a, tevea rukru huno ontegahie. Hagi vahe zamefi kema hu'zama omanesigeno'a, ha' frama hu'zana omanegosie.
With much wood fire increases; but where there is not a double-minded man, strife ceases.
21 Tevemo'a tanknuzare tevea nereno hagage teve rampare rukru huno tevea nereankna hu'za keframa vazi vahe'mo'za, ha'ma hu'zana eri agafa nehaze.
A hearth for coals, and wood for fire; and railing man for the tumult of strife.
22 Vahe'ma amefi agenke hu kemo'a, haganentake ne'zankna hu'neankino, vahe'mofo agu'afinka unefre.
The words of cunning knaves are soft; but they strike [even] to the inmost parts of the bowels.
23 Vahe'ma azeri havizahu antahi'zama kagu'afima me'negenka, amne kagiteti'ma fru kema humisanana, mopa kavomofo amega'a silva masave frenteno eri knare hiankna hugahane.
Silver dishonestly given is to be considered as a potsherd: smooth lips cover a grievous heart.
24 Mago'mo'ma avesra hunentesia vahe'mofoma amega agiteti avurera so'e ke humigahianagi, agu'afina antahi muginente.
A weeping enemy promises all things with his lips, but in his heart he contrives deceit.
25 Knare kema hanigenka ana kegura tamage hunka antahiomio, na'ankure agu'afina 7ni'a kasrino agote'zamo avite'ne.
Though [your] enemy entreat you with a loud voice, consent not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.
26 E'i ana kefo antahi'zana frakigahianagi, mika veamo'za, kefo avu'ava'afi eama hanige'za kegahaze.
He that hides enmity frames deceit: but being easily discerned, exposes his own sins in the public assemblies.
27 Iza'o kerima asentesimo'a, anama asentesia kerifi agra'a tamisigeno, iza'o havema rezahe huno marenerinimofona, ana havemo'a ete eramino havema retufeno marerino nevanimofona eme rehapatigahie.
He that digs a pit for his neighbour shall fall into it: and he that rolls a stone, rolls it upon himself.
28 Havi kema hu vahe'mo'a, avesrama hunentea vahera, havige huno azeri havizahu ke hunente. Rumofo zante ke'neno masave kema hu'zamo'a, ruga'a vahera azeri haviza nehie.
A lying tongue hates the truth; and an unguarded mouth causes tumults.
