< Mani'zanti Mofo Nanekee 25 >

1 Ama'i Solomoni knare antahi'zamofo naneke, Juda vahe kini ne' Hezekia eriza vahe'mo'za eri'za krente'naza naneke.
These are the miscellaneous instructions of Solomon, which the friends of Ezekias king of Judea copied out.
2 Ra Anumzamo'a rama'a zama antahizama'afi erifrakinegu, ra agi nemune. Hagi kinimo'a anama fraki'nea zama hakeno erifore nehigeta, agrira ra agi'a amita husga nehune.
The glory of God conceals a matter: but the glory of a king honours business.
3 Monamo onagamu me'geno, mopamo'a ufenkamu megeta antahita keta nosunankino, e'inahukna kante kini vahe'mokizmi antahintahizmia tagra antahita keta osugahune.
Heaven is high, and earth is deep, and a king's heart is unsearchable.
4 Silvama kre'za eri avusese hazageno, knare'ma hige'za anantetira zago'amo mareri zantamina tro nehaze.
Beat the drossy silver, and it shall be made entirely pure.
5 Kefo avu'ava'ma hanaza vahe'ma kini ne'mofo kumapinti'ma zamahenati atresazana, agrama kegavama hu'nea kuma'mo'a, hanavetino fatgo huno megahie.
Slay the ungodly from before the king, and his throne shall prosper in righteousness.
6 Kini ne' avure'ma emanisunka, nagra ra vahe'mani'noe hunka kavufga ra nosunka, zamagine vahe'mokizmi tratera eomanio.
Be not boastful in the presence of the king, and remain not in the places of princes;
7 Akoheno mani'nenkeno kema huno avrenagamute zamo knarera hu'neanki, agine vahe'mofo avufima hugantesigenka anama mani'nenana tra'ma atrenka urami zamo'a kagaze hugahianki, antahinka kenka huntenka fatgoza huo.
for [it is] better for thee that it should be said, Come up to me, than that [one] should humble thee in the presence of the prince; speak of that which thine eyes have seen.
8 Ame hunka naneke hu tratera magomofona avrentenka kehara huonto. Na'ankure tava'onkare'ma mani'naza vahe'mo'za, ana nanekeka'ama eriama hu'za kazeri kagazema hanazana, atuparega na'a kagra hugahane?
Get not suddenly into a quarrel, lest thou repent at last.
9 Kagrama tava'onkare'ma nemanisimo'enema ke ha'ma nehanunka, mago'mofo oku'a avu'ava'amofo nanekea hu amara osuo.
Whenever thy friend shall reproach thee, retreat backward, despise [him] not;
10 Henka'ama vahe'mo'za antahisu'za, fraki'za hazankea kagra franokine huge, kazeri kagaze nehu'za mika zupa antahi haviza hugante vava hugahaze.
lest thy friend continue to reproach thee, so thy quarrel and enmity shall not depart, but shall be to thee like death. Favour and friendship set [a man] free, which do thou keep for thyself, lest thou be made liable to reproach; but take heed to thy ways peaceably.
11 Hagi vahe'mo'ma knare antahi'zama kna fatgo'are'ma hu'ama'ma hanigeno'a, ana ke'mo'a golire tro hunte'naza epoli zafa ragamo silva zuompafi meankna hu'ne.
[As] a golden apple in a necklace of sardius, so [is it] to speak a [wise] word.
12 Knare antahi'zanteti'ma azeri fatgoma nehanigeno agesa anteno antahisimo'a, golire tro hunte'naza avasaseza agesafi anteankna hu'ne.
In an ear-ring of gold a precious sardius is also set; [so is] a wise word to an obedient ear.
13 Kema erino esia ne'mo'ma, ome huo huno huntesigeno esia kema eme fatgo huno anankema hu ne'mo'a, hozafinti neza hamare knare ata ko'mo rufru hiankna nehigeno, kva'amofo agu'amo'a fru nehie.
As a fall of snow in the time of harvest is good against heat, so a faithful messenger [refreshes] those that send him; for he helps the souls of his employers.
14 Mago vaheku'ma museza kamigahue huno'ma avufga ra hu kazigati huvempa hunteteno, anazama omisia vahe'mo'a, ko aruku zaho e'nerino hampo ko atuno hanintiri huteno, kora oriankna nehie.
As winds and clouds and rains are most evident [objects], so is he that boasts of a false gift.
15 Hagi ame hunka krimpama ohe'zamo'a, kva vahera rimpa azerifru hunka, kagrarega avrentegahane. Ante fru hunka hukemo'a, ha' frama hu'zana mika azeri agateregahane.
In long-suffering is prosperity to kings, and a soft tongue breaks the bones.
16 Tume'mofo tima'amo'a haga hu'neanki, nenenunka avamente no, rama'a nesanana amu'atigahane.
Having found honey, eat [only] what is enough, lest haply thou be filled, and vomit it up.
17 Tava'onkare'ma nemanisimofo nontera hakare zupa vuvava osuo, anama hanankeno'a musema huno'ma negavreanknara osugosianki, avesra hugantegahie.
Enter sparingly into thy friend's house, lest he be satiated with thy company, and hate thee.
18 Tava'onkarema nemanisimofoma havigema huntenka, agenkema hanana zamo'a, kumpa knonu aheankna nehunka, kazinteti avufgama akafriankna nehunka, keve aheankna hugahane.
[As] a club, and a dagger, and a pointed arrow, so also is a man who bears false witness against his friend.
19 Kagrama kaza osuga vahe'ma antahinemisankeno havi knama esigeno'a, naza hugahiema hananana, ave'neneno ata negrifi ne'zama neankna nehunka, agamo haviza hu'nea ne'mo revazamu revazamu huno viankna hugahane.
The way of the wicked and the foot of the transgressor shall perish in an evil day.
20 Vahe'mo'ma asunku zampima mani'nenigenka muse zagamema hananana, ana asunku zampi mani'nea vahe'mofona, zasi knafi nakreku'a zafi atreankna nehunka, aka tinu avufga taga hu'nefi tagi atreankna hugahane.
As vinegar is bad for a sore, so trouble befalling the body afflicts the heart. As a moth in a garment, and a worm in wood, so the grief of a man hurts the heart.
21 Ha' vahekamofoma aga'zanku'ma nehanigenka ne'zama nesia zana neminka, tinku'ma avenesinigenka tina amigeno neno.
If thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink;
22 E'inahu'ma hanankeno'a, teve tankanuza asenifi hampagenteankna hanankeno, agra'a havi avu'ava zama'agura agaze nehanigeno, Ra Anumzamo'a mizana kamigahie.
for so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee [with] good.
23 Vahe'ma amefiga ke'ma hu kemo'a, noti (north) kazigati zaho'mo ko atufeno eankna huno, ana vahe'mofontera arimpa ahe'za erino esigeno, avugosamo'a zahe hugahie.
The north wind raises clouds; so an impudent face provokes the tongue.
24 Fegi'a anaga nomote kagraku manizamo'a, nogu'afima kehakarema nehia a'enema manizana agaterene.
[It is] better to dwell on a corner of the roof, than with a railing woman in an open house.
25 Afete kumateti knare'zamofo agenkema egeno antahizamo'a, tinku avesinere zasi ti amigeno neankna nehie.
As cold water is agreeable to a thirsting soul, so is a good message from a land far off.
26 Fatgo ne'mo'ma kefo avu'ava ene ne'ma, avaririno kefo avu'ava'ma ome haniana, knare tinkerifi agamunke timo ufreno eri haviza hiankna hugahie.
As if one should stop a well, and corrupt a spring of water, so [is it] unseemly for a righteous man to fall before an ungodly man.
27 Vahe'mo'ma ra'ma'a tumerima ne'zamo'a, knarera osu'ne. Vahe'mo'ma agra'a ra agima eri'zanku'ma mraguzamati'zamo'a, knarera osu'ne.
[It is] not good to eat much honey; but it is right to honour venerable sayings.
28 Iza'o, rimpa aka he'zama azeri aravama ohesiana, mago ra kuma'mofo have keginamo fragu vaziramiankna hugahie.
As a city whose walls are broken down, and which is unfortified, so is a man who does anything without counsel.
