1 Waini tima nenea vahe'mofona azeri neginagi higeno, vahe'ma huhaviza hu kea nehigeno, aka timo'a vahe'mofona azeri negi nenkeno ke huhaviza nehuno hara hugahie. Waini ti neno neginagi hu vahe'mofona, agripina ama' antahi'zana omanegahie.
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is noisy; and whosoever indulgeth therein will never be wise.
2 Kinimofo arimpa akahe zamo'a, laionimo rankrafa hiankna hu'ne. Kini vahe'mofo azeri arimpa ahe'simofona, ahe frigahie.
Like the roaring of a young lion is the dread of a king: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul.
3 Haframa hu'zanku'ma mani kore huno agatere'zamo'a, ra agi erigahie. Hianagi neginagi vahe'mo'za ame hu'za hafra nehaze.

Most men will proclaim every one his own kindness; but who can find a faithful man?
7 Fatgo avu'ava'ene ne'mo'a, mani fatgo huno nemanie. Agri mofavre zagamo'za, asomu erigahaze.
The righteous walketh in his integrity: happy will be his children after him.
8 Kini vahe'mo'ma keagama refako hunakura trate mani'neno, keaga refko huno havi avu'ava zana ke fore nehie.
A king that sitteth on the throne of justice scattereth away with his eyes all evil.
9 Nagu'amo'a fatgo higena, nagra agru hu'noankino nagripina kumira omane'ne huno iza hugahie?
Who can say, I have made my heart pure, I am cleansed from my sin.
10 Havige hu'za maka'zama refko hu'za kna'ama ke'zane, havige hu'za avamente refkoma osu'zanena Ra Anumzamo'a avesra huno agote'nezmante.
Divers weights, and divers measures, are both of them alike an abomination of the Lord.
11 Mofavremofona avu'avate negenka, agri avu'avamo'a agru hu'neanki, fatgo mofavre mani'neanki hugahane.
Even a child maketh himself known by his doings, whether his work will be pure, and whether it will be upright.
12 Tagesama me'neana keaga antahi'zane, tavuragama me'neana tavuma ke'za me'neankino, tarega'zana Ra Anumzamo museza tami'ne.

16 Onke'nenana vahe'mo'ma nofi'ma nehinkeno magomo apasegahue hanigenka, anamofo anakreku'a huvame hunka eri'negeno, ana nofi'ma hu'neazana eme apaseno. Savri a'mo'ma nofi'ma hanigeno'ma mago'mo apasegahuema hanigenka, aza hu'na apasentegahue huno kaminia zana erio.
Take away his garment, because he hath become surety for a stranger; and on account of a strange woman take a pledge from him.

Plans are established by counsel; and with wise reflection conduct war.
19 Vahe zamagenkema hu vahe'mokizmi oku'zana hu ama nehaze. E'ina hu'negu vahe zamagenkema hu vahe enena tragotenka omanio.
He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that enticeth with his lips.
20 Nerera nefama huhaviza huntesia vahe'mofona tavi'amo asu hanigeno kumazu hanimpi maniankna huno frigahie.
Whoso curseth his father or his mother—his lamp shall be quenched in obscure darkness.
21 Arera afama ofri mani'nesigeno'ma erisinti haregahanema hu'nesia zama ame'ama huno erisia mofavremo'a, atuparega asimu'a omanegosie.
An inheritance hastily gotten at the beginning will at its end not be blessed,
22 Kefo avu'ava'ma hugante'sagenka anahukna hu'na nona huzamantegahue osuo. Hagi avega antenegeno Ra Anumzamo kaza huno ana knazana erino.
Do not say, I will recompense evil; [but] wait on the Lord, and he will help thee.
23 Mago'azama mizaseku'ma hanigeno kna'ama refako huno kezama (skel) erinteno refako hu so'e osu avu'ava zana, Ra Anumzamo'a avesra huno agonete.
Divers weights are an abomination of the Lord; and a deceitful balance is not good.
24 Vahe'mo'ma mika zama hiazana, Ra Anumzamoke azeri ante fatgo nehie. Inankna huno mago'a vahe'mo'a agra'ma nehia zana keno antahino hugahie?
From the Lord are the steps of man [ordained]; but man— how can he understand his own way?
25 Kagesa antahi ankeretenka Anumzamofontera huvempa huo. Ame'ama hunka huvempama hutesunka, henka'a anama hu'nesana kegu kagesa antahintahi nehunka kagraka'a kazeri haviza hugahane.
It is a snare to a man to sanctify things hastily, and to make inquiry only after having made vows.
26 Ama' antahi'zane kini ne'mo'a kefo zamavu'zamava nehaza vahera witi hona'a hareno eriherahe hianka huno rezaganeno ke ama huteno, henka knanentake havenu witi'a refuzafupeankna huno knazana zamigahie.
A wise king scattereth the wicked, and turneth over them the threshing-wheel.
27 Ra Anumzamofo lampe tavi'mo'a, vahe'mofo kantu agu'afi ufreno mika kefo agu'agesama me'neana hakeno eri ama nehie.
A lamp of the Lord is the soul of man, searching all the inner chambers of the body.
28 Kini ne'mo'ma vahe'mokizmima avesi nezamanteno knare avu'ava huzamantesiana, agra knare huno mani'neno, za'za kna kva eri'zantera manino vugahie.
Kindness and truth will watch over a king, and he will prop up through kindness his throne.
29 Nehazave ramimofona hanave zamimo ra zamagia nezamie. Hianagi ranra vahera efe'zmazoka nege'za vahe'mo'za husga hunezmantaze.
The ornament of young men is their strength; and the glory of old men is a hoary head.
30 Hazenkema hania vahe'ma knokeve'ma ami'zamo, kefo avu'ava zana ahenati netreno, agu'a azeri agru hugahie.
The bruises of a wound are cleansing means for the bad, and stripes [will reach] the inner chambers of the body.
