< Mani'zanti Mofo Nanekee 1 >
1 Ama avontafera knare nomanizamofo ke Israeli vahe'mokizmi kini ne' Solomoni, Deviti nemofo krente'ne.
The proverbs of Solomon [Peaceable, Recompense], the son of David [Beloved], king of Israel [God prevails]:
2 Ama knare nomanizamofo ke'mo'a, knare antahi'za neramino, tavumro ante ke nerasmino, taza hinketa oku'ama me'nea kea keta antahita hugahune.
to know wisdom and instruction; to discern the words of understanding;
3 Knare antahintahi neramino, tazeri fatgo nehanigeta, fatgo avu'ava nehuta, fatgo huta refko nehuta, maka vahe'mofona mago avamente knare avu'avara huzmantegahune.
to receive instruction in wisdom, in righteousness, mishpat ·justice·, and equity;
4 Hagi ama ana nanekemo'a, antahi'zama'a omane'nesia vahera knare antahintahi nezamino, ne'mofara antahiza nezaminke'za knare hu'za maka zana refko hugahaze.
to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young man:
5 Knare antahintahima eri'nesimo'a, ama nanekea nentahinkeno rempi hunemina, mago'ane ama' antahi'zana e'nerinkeno, antahi ama'ma hania ne'mo'a, avumro kea erigahie.
that the wise man may sh'ma ·hear obey·, and increase in learning; that the man of understanding may attain to sound counsel:
6 Ama nanekemo'a zamaza hina, knare antahintahima eri kene, avame kea antahi ama' nehuta, antahi'zane vahe'mo'zama hu'naza kene, ruzahu ruzahu fraki kea erigahaze.
to understand a proverb, and parables, the words and riddles of the wise.
7 Anumzamofonku kore hunteno agorga'a manizana, antahi'zama eri'zamofo agafa'a me'ne. Hu'neanagi neginagi vahe'mo'za knare antahi'zane avumro kegura zamagena humigahaze.
The fear of Adonai is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.
8 Mofavre'nimoke, negafa'ma kavumro kema hania kea amage nentenka, negrerama rempima hugamisia kea ha'ontagio.
My son, sh'ma ·hear obey· your father’s instruction, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching:
9 Ana kavumro kemo'a, avasase zanu anunte fetori anteankna nehuno, anankempi pasesu nofi anteankna hugantegahie.
for they will be a garland to chen ·grace· your head, and chains around your neck.
10 Mofavre'nimoke, kumi vahe'mo'za kefoza huogu kavazuma hanazana, ana kefozana osutfa huo.
My son, if sinners entice you, don’t consent.
11 Tagrane egeta frakineta hazenkezmi omne vaheku ome zmahamneno hnagenka, ovutfa huo.
If they say, “Come with us, Let’s lay in wait for blood; let’s lurk secretly for the innocent without cause;
12 Fri vahe kumamo'ma vahe'ma zamasgahu nevaziankna huta, zamasimuma eri'za mani'naza vahera zamahe frisune. (Sheol )
let’s swallow them up alive like Sheol ·Place of the dead·, and whole, like those who go down into the pit (of Abbadon, the unrighteous side of Sheol). (Sheol )
13 Mika zago'amo mareri zantamima zamaheta hanaresuna zantamina refko huta nontifi eri antevi'neteta,
We’ll find all valuable wealth. We’ll fill our houses with plunder.
14 musufama erisuna zagoa refko hugamigahunanki, tagrane enoma hanagenka,
You shall cast your lot among us. We’ll all have one purse.”
15 mofavre'nimoke, zamagranena ovutfa huo, zamagrama vanarega ovuo.
My son, don’t walk on the path with them. Keep your foot from their path,
16 Na'ankure ame hu'za kumira nehu'za, vahera zamahe'za korana eri neragize.
for their feet run to evil. They hurry to shed blood.
17 Namamo'ma negesigenka krifu anaginte'sanana, ana namamo'a krifufina ohenigeno, krifumo'a amnezankna hugahie.
For in vain is the net spread in the sight of any bird:
18 Anahu kna hu'za, vahe'mo'za ruvahe zamahe'naku hazanagi, zamagra'a zamahe nefrize.
but these lay wait for their own blood. They lurk secretly for their own lives.
19 E'inahu kanteti'ma musufama fenoma erizamo'a, kahe frigahie.
So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain. It takes away the life of its owners.
20 Knare antahintahizamo'a mago a'kna hu'neankino, kama vu'za e'za nehazafi oti'neno kezanetino, vahe atru hu'za nemanizafi ranke huno kezatino kea nehie.
Wisdom calls aloud in the street. She utters her voice in the public squares.
21 Ana a'mo'a tusi kereso nehaza kamofo atuparegati kezatino, rankumapi ufre kafante mani'neno kea nehie.
She calls at the head of noisy places. At the entrance of the city gates, she utters her words:
22 Antahiza omane vahe'motma nama'a zupa musena hutma antahizantmi omane vahera manigahaze? Kiza zokago kema knare antahizanku'ma nehzazana, taganetma omanigahafi?
“How long, you simple ones, will you 'ahav ·affectionately love· thoughtless living? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Nagrama i'oma hugantoa kema amage'ma antesanke'na, nagu'a neramina, knare antahi'zani'a rempi huramigahue.
Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you.
24 Hianagi kema nehugenka antahi nonaminka, kagrite etragote'za nehugenka antahi nonamine.
Because I have called, and you have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention;
25 Kavumro'ma negantogenka, keni'a nontahinka, osuo huazama nehanku,
but you have ignored all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof;
26 ana nona'a kagrite'ma esia hazenkegura, kagiza regahue. Tusi'a hazenke zamo kazeri kagateresige'na, Nagra kagiza regahue.
I also will laugh at your disaster. I will mock when calamity overtakes you;
27 Zahoko'mo hiaza huno hazenke zamo'ma tamazeri agaterenkeno, hankro zaho'mo hiaza huno tinko'mo refitege, hazenke'zamo ene kore'zamo tmagritera egahie.
when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when your disaster comes on like a whirlwind; when distress and anguish come on you.
28 Ana hanige'za zamagra zamazama hanugura kezatigahazanagi, nagra kenona huozamigahue. Zamagra nagrikura hakresnazanagi, onagegahaze.
Then will they call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me;
29 Na'ankure zamagra antahi'zama erizankura zamesra hunente'za, Ra Anumzamofona kore hunte zamagesa ontahi'naze.
because they hated knowledge, and didn’t choose the fear of Adonai.
30 Nagrama zamavumro antoankea erinetre'za, zamazeri fatgo huankea amage onte'naze.
They wanted none of my counsel. They despised all my reproof.
31 E'ina hu'negu zamagrama hu'nesaza zamuzmamofona raga'a nesageno, oku'ma hu'naku retroma hu'nesaza zamavu'zmavamofo nona'a havi miza erigahaze.
Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own schemes.
32 Antahintahizmi omane vahe'mokizmia, neginagi zamavu'zmavamo zamahe nefrinkeno, knare hu'none hu'zama hanaza zamo, zamahe frigahie.
For the backsliding of the simple will kill them. The careless ease of fools will destroy them.
33 Hianagi aza'o nagri kema antahisimo'a, hazenke e'ori knare huno nemanino, havizankura korora osu mani fru huno manigahie.
But whoever sh'ma ·hears obeys· me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm.”
