And YHWH speaks to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year of their going out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2 Kagrane Aroni'enena maka Israeli vahe'mokizmi zamagi'a nagate nofite kognare huta maka venenemokizmi zamagi'a krente'o.

“Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names—every male by their counted heads;

from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host in Israel, you number them by their hosts, you and Aaron;

and with you there is a man for a tribe, each is a head of the house of his fathers.

And these [are] the names of the men who stand with you: for Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;

6 Simeon nagapintira, Zurisadai nemofo Selumieli'e,

for Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;

7 Juda nagapintira, Aminadab nemofo Nasoni'e,

for Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;

8 Isaka nagapintira, Zuari nemofo Netaneli'e,

for Issachar, Nathaneel son of Zuar;

9 Zebulun nagapintira, Helon nemofo Eliabu'e,

for Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;

10 Josefe amohe'i Efraemi nagapintira, Amihud nemofo Elisama'e. Manase nagapintira Pedasuri nemofo Gamalieli'e,

for the sons of Joseph: for Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud; for Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;

11 Benjamen nagapintira, Gideoni nemofo Abidani'e.

for Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;

12 Dani nagapintira, Amisadai nemofo Ahieza'e.

for Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;

13 Aseli nagapintira, Okran nemofo Pagieli'e,

for Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran;

14 Gati nagapintira, Deuel nemofo Eleasafi'e.

for Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;

15 Nafatali nagapintira, Enan nemofo Ahira'e.

for Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.”

16 Amama zamagima fore hu'nemo'za, naga'zmire kva hutere hu'naza vaheki'za, Israeli vahepi vugote'za kevu'zmire kegava hutere hu'naze.

These [are] those called of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers; they [are] heads of the thousands of Israel.

17 Hige'ne Moseseke Aronikea Ra Anumzamo'ma zamagi ahe zanasmia kante anteke zamavare atru hu'na'e.

And Moses takes—Aaron also—these men, who were defined by name,

and they assembled all the congregation on the first of the second month, and they declare their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names from a son of twenty years and upward, by their counted heads,

19 Hagi Ra Anumzamo Mosesema asami'nea kante anteno Sainai ka'ma mopafi hamprino zamagi'a kre'ne.

as YHWH has commanded Moses; and he numbers them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20 Israeli agonesa mofavre Rubeni, ne' mofavre nagara agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'ne.

And the sons of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, by their counted heads, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

21 Rubeni nagapintima venenema hamprino kre'nea vahera 46 tausen 500'a vahere.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Reuben, are forty-six thousand and five hundred.

22 Simeoni, ne'mofavre agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Simeon—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, its numbered ones in the number of names, by their counted heads, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

23 maka Simeon naga'ma hampri'nazana 59 tausen 300ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Simeon, [are] fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

24 Gati ne'mofavrea agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke vahe'ma hate'ma vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Gad—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

25 maka Gati naga'ma hampri'nazana 45tausen 650ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Gad, [are] forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

26 Juda ne'mofavrea agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke vahe'ma hate'ma vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Judah—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

27 maka Juda naga'ma hampri'nazana 74 tausen 600ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Judah, [are] seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

28 Isakar ne'mofavre age'hontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke vahe'ma hate'ma vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Issachar—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

29 maka Isakar naga'ma hampri'nazana 54 tausen 400ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Issachar, [are] fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

30 Zebuluni nemofavre nagama agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20retima mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Zebulun—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

31 maka Zebuluni naga'ma hampri'nazana 57tausen 400ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Zebulun, [are] fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

32 Josefe ne'mofavre Efraemi naga'ma agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti'ma mreri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Joseph: of the sons of Ephraim—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

33 maka Efraemi naga'ma hampri'nazana 40tausen 500ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Ephraim, [are] forty thousand and five hundred.

34 Josefe ne' mofavre Manase naga'ma age'honteti'ma eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana, 32 tausen 200ti'e.

Of the sons of Manasseh—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

35 Maka Manase naga'ma hampri'nazana 32 tausen 200ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Manasseh, [are] thirty-two thousand and two hundred.

36 Benzameni naga'ma agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke vahe'ma hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti'ma mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Benjamin—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

37 maka Benjamen naga'ma hampri'nazana 35tausen 400ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Benjamin, [are] thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

38 Dani nagama agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke vahe'ma hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti'ma mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Dan—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

39 maka Dani naga'ma hampri'nazana 62tausen 700ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Dan, [are] sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.

40 Aseli naga'ma age'hontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke vahe'ma hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti'ma mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Asher—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

41 maka Aseli naga'ma hampri'nazana 41tausen 500ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Asher, [are] forty-one thousand and five hundred.

42 Nafatali naga'ma agehontetima eno, nezmafante e'nea vahe zamagi'ane magoke magoke vahe'ma hate vuga hu'nea vahe'ma, kafu'zmimo 20reti'ma mareri anagate'nea, vahe zamagi kre'neana,

Of the sons of Naphtali—their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host—

43 maka Naftali naga'ma hampri'nazana 53 tausen 400ti'e.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Naphtali, [are] fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

44 Ama'i Moseseke Aronikema Israeli venenene 12fu'a naga nofimokizmi kva vahe'ene hamprike zamagi'a kre'na'e.

These [are] those numbered, whom Moses numbered—Aaron also—and the princes of Israel, twelve men, each one has been [the representative] for the house of his fathers.

45 Hige'za maka Israeli vahe'mo'za kognare, famote kafuzmimo 20reti mareri anagatre'nea vahe'ma hate vuga hu'naza Israeli vahe zamagi kre fatgoma hu'nazana,

And they are, all those numbered of the sons of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from a son of twenty years and upward, everyone going out to the host in Israel,

46 maka eri mago huno'ma hampriana 603 tausen 550ti'e.

indeed, all those numbered are six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

47 Livae nagara zamagehe'inteti eno nezmafante'ma ehnati'neana zamagi'a onkre'naze.

And the Levites, for the tribe of their fathers, have not numbered themselves in their midst,

48 Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a Mosesena amanage huno asami'ne,

seeing YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

49 Israeli vahe'mokizmi zamagima kresampina, Livae nagara zamagi'a hamprinka anampina onkregahane.

“Only the tribe of Levi you do not number, and you do not take up their census in the midst of the sons of Israel;

50 Kagra Livae nagara zamazeri otige'za noni'afi eri'za eneri'za, maka'za agu'afi me'nea zane, eri'zama eri nenantaza zante kegava hiho. Seli mono nomofo (Tabernacle) agu'afi me'nea zana eri'za vano nehu'za, kegava hugahaze. Ana seli noni'amofo tvaonte nozmia ki'neza kva krigahaze.

and you, appoint the Levites over the Dwelling Place of the Testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all that it has; they carry the Dwelling Place, and all its vessels, and they serve it; and they encamp around the Dwelling Place.

51 Hanki kama vunakura, seli noni'a Livae naga'moza tagna vaziza repsi hu'za, umanisarera ete'za azeri otigahaze. Ana eri'zante huhampri onte'nesia vahe'ma ana tvaonte'ma esazana zamahe fri'gahaze.

And in the journeying of the Dwelling Place, the Levites take it down, and in the encamping of the Dwelling Place, the Levites raise it up; and the stranger who is coming near is put to death.”

52 Israeli ne'mofavre'moza kumama antesazana mago mago naga kevumo agragu agragu kumara nenteno, sondia vahe'zmine, krauefa nerfi'za manitere hugahaze.

And the sons of Israel have encamped, each by his camp, and each by his standard, by their hosts;

53 Hanki Livae naga'moza seli mono noni'amofona tavaontera kumara ante kagigahaze. Hagi Israeli vahe'mo'za efresage'na nasivazi zmante'zanku, Livae naga'moza seli mono noni'a vugote'za kegava krigahaze.

and the Levites encamp around the Dwelling Place of the Testimony; and there is no wrath on the congregation of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have kept the charge of the Dwelling Place of the Testimony.

54 Israeli ne'mofavre'mo'za Ra Anumzamo Mosese asmia kante ante'za, maka'moza zamagra ana hu'naze.

And the sons of Israel do according to all that YHWH has commanded Moses; so they have done.
