1 Balamu'a anage huno kini ne' Balakina asmi'ne, amare 7ni'a kresramnama vu ita tro hunentenka, 7ni'a bulimakao afu'ene 7ni'a ve' sipisipi afutamine uvrenka eno.
And Balaam says to Balak, “Build seven altars for me in this [place], and prepare seven bullocks and seven rams for me in this [place].”
2 Higeno Balaki'a Balamu'ma asamiaza hu'ne. Higeke Balaki'ene Balamukea magoke magoke kresramna vu itarera mago bulimakaone mago ve sipisipine kresramna vutere hu'na'e.
And Balak does as Balaam has spoken, and Balak—Balaam also—offers a bullock and a ram on the altar,
3 Hagi Balamu'a anante Balakina asamino, ofaka'ama kresramna vunante otinka mani'nege'na, mago'a kaziga nagrake umani'nanenkeno Ra Anumzamo'a kea nasamigahifi emeriama hu'na anankea tamasami'neno. Anage huteno anantetira Balamu'a zamatreno mago'za omane agonarega marerine.
and Balaam says to Balak, “Station yourself by your burnt-offering and I go on, it may be YHWH comes to meet me, and the thing which He shows me I have declared to you”; and he goes [to] a high place.
4 Hagi Anumzamo'a Balamuna tutagiha huntegeno, Balamu'a anage huno asami'ne, nagra 7ni'a kresramna vu itarera mago'mago kresramna vu itarera mago bulimakaone, mago ve sipisipine ahe'na kresramna vu'noe.
And God comes to Balaam, and he says to Him, “I have arranged the seven altars, and I offer a bullock and a ram on the altar”;
5 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a Balamuna nanekea asamino, Ete vunka Balakina amama kasamu kea ome asamio.
and YHWH puts a word in the mouth of Balaam and says, “Return to Balak, and thus you speak.”
6 Higeno Balamu'a rukrahe huno vuno, ome keana Balaki'a miko Moapu kva vahetamine kresramnama vu itare oti'negeno vu'ne.
And he returns to him, and behold, he is standing by his burnt-offering, he and all the princes of Moab.

And he takes up his allegory and says: “Balak king of Moab leads me from Aram; From mountains of the east. Come—curse Jacob for me, And come—be indignant [with] Israel.
8 Hagi nagra inankna hu'na Anumzamo'ma kazusima huontoma huno hu'nenia vahera, kazusinkea hunentena, Ra Anumzamo'ma huhaviza huonto huno'ma hu'nenia vahera, inankna hu'na huhaviza huntegahue?
How do I pierce [when] God has not pierced? And how am I indignant [when] YHWH has not been indignant?
9 Nagra have agonareti kefenkamu atre'na Israeli vahera zamage'noe. Zamagra mani ruotage hu'za Anumzamofo vahe mani'ne'za zamarimpa frune mani'naze.
For from the top of rocks I see him, And from heights I behold him; Behold a people! He dwells alone, And does not reckon himself among nations.
10 Israeli agehe'za hagera hu'za kahepankna hu'za rama'a vahe nemanisage'za, 4'afi refko hanage'za mago kevu manigahazanagi zamagrira hamprigara osugahaze. Hagi ama mopafima nasimu'ma eri'na mani'nenurera, nagra Anumzamofo agorga nemanina, zamagrikna hu'na narimpa frune frizankura nave'nesie.
Who has counted the dust of Jacob, And the number of the fourth of Israel? Let me die the death of upright ones, And let my last end be like his!”
11 Anante Balaki'a amanage huno Balamuna antahige'ne. Kagra na'a hunenantane? Nagra ha' vahe'ni'a kazusi huzmantogu kavrena amafina e'noe. Hagi ko! Kagra mani soe'ma hu'zama manisagu asomu ke hunezmantane!
And Balak says to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I have taken you to pierce my enemies, and behold, you have certainly blessed”;
12 Hianagi Balamu'a kenona hunteno, Ra Anumzamo'ma huoma huno hunantesia ke'age nagra hugahue hu'ne.
and he answers and says, “That which YHWH puts in my mouth—do I not take heed to speak it?”
13 Anante kini ne Balaki'a Balamuna anage huno asmi'ne, Nagrane egeta Pisga agonare umanineta rama'a Israeli vahera ozmagegahane. Hianagi osi'a nezmagenka anama zamagesanama'a kazusi kea huzmanto,
And Balak says to him, “Come! Come to another place with me, from where you see it—you see only its extremity, and you do not see all of it, and pierce it for me there”;
14 Huteno anantetira Balamuna avreno Zofim agupofi me'nea Piska agonare, 7ni'a kresramna vu ita ome tro huno, ve bulimakaone ve sipisipinena mago'mago kresramna vu itarera ofa hu'ne.
and he takes him [to] the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and builds seven altars, and offers a bullock and a ram on the altar.
15 Hagi Balamu'a Balakina asamino, ama kresramna vu itare mani'nege'na Ra Anumzamofona anturega vu'na ome tutagiha huntaneno.
And he says to Balak, “Station yourself here by your burnt-offering, and I meet [Him] there”;
16 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a Balamuna tutagiha hunteno amanage huno nanekea asami'ne, Ete vunka Balakina ama ana naneke ome asamio.
and YHWH comes to Balaam, and sets a word in his mouth, and says, “Return to Balak, and thus you speak.”
17 Higeno Balaki'a anama ofama hu'nere Moapu kva vahe'mo'zane otino mani'neno, na'ane huno Ra Anumzamo'a kasami'ne huno Balamuna antahige'ne?
And he comes to him, and behold, he is standing by his burnt-offering, and the princes of Moab [are] with him, and Balak says to him: “What has YHWH spoken?”
18 Ra Anumzamo'ma asami'nea kasnampa nanekea Balamu'a amanage huno asami'ne, Zipori nemofoga kama antahio,
And he takes up his allegory and says: “Rise, Balak, and hear; Give ear to me, son of Zippor!
19 Anumzamo'a tagrikna vahera omani'neankino, havigea osugahie. Agra kema hia kere amage anteno anaza nehia ne' mani'ne. Agrama kema nehuno'a, ana kemofo amage anteno eri so'e nehia ne' mani'ne.
God [is] not a man—and lies, And a son of man—and relents! Has He said—and He does not do [it]? And spoken—and He does not confirm it?
20 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a ana vahera asomu ke huzamanto huno nasami'neanki'na, nagra ana kea eritrena ru kea osugahue.
Behold, I have received [only] to bless; Indeed, He blesses, and I cannot reverse it.
21 Israeli nagapina koana mago havizana kena eriforera osugeno, mago zamazeri haviza hu'zana omanene. Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a zamagrane mani'nege'za, zamagra hu'za Ra Anumzana tagri kinie hu'za nehaze.
He has not beheld iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen perverseness in Israel; His God YHWH [is] with him, And a shout of a king [is] in him.
22 Ra Anumzamo Isipitira zamavareno atirami'neankino zamagripina afi' ve bulimakaomofo hanavegna hanave me'ne.
God is bringing them out from Egypt, As the swiftness of a wild ox for him;
23 Ha' vahe'mo'zama Israeli vahe avuatga hu'zo, sankuma hu'za zamaheku'ma hanazana, anazamo'a amne'za segahie. Hanige'za menina Israeli vahe'mokizmi nezmage'za maka veamo'za, Anumzamo'a zamahoke neheno ruzahu'za erifore nehianki, keho hu'za hugahaze.
For no enchantment [is] against Jacob, Nor divination against Israel; At the time it is said of Jacob and Israel, O what God has worked!
24 Hagi keho, Israeli vahe'mo'za laionimo eaza hu'za ne-eza, laionimo ahenaku hia zagama otre ronato huvava huno aheno asgahu nevazino korama'a neankna hute'za, manigsa hugahaze.
Behold, the people rises as a lioness, And he lifts himself up as a lion; He does not lie down until he eats prey, And drinks blood of pierced ones.”
25 Hagi anante Balaki'a anage huno Balamuna asmi'ne, Kazusi kema huozamante'nunka asomu kea huozamanto.
And Balak says to Balaam, “Neither pierce it at all, nor bless it at all”;
26 Hianagi Balamu'a amanage huno Balakina asami'ne, Ra Anumzamo'ma huoma huno hunante'nia zana hugahue hu'na kasami'nofi onkasami'noe?
and Balaam answers and says to Balak, “Have I not spoken to you, saying, All that YHWH speaks—I do it?”
27 Hagi Balaki'a anage huno Balamunkura hu'ne, Antureti'ma Ra Anumzamo'a musema huno'ma kazusima huzamantenigu ege'na kavre'na vaneno.
And Balak says to Balaam, “Please come, I take you to another place; it may be it is right in the eyes of God to pierce it for me from there.”
28 Hagi Balamuna avreno Peori agonare vigeno, ka'ma kokana ke'ne
And Balak takes Balaam to the top of Peor, which is looking on the front of the wilderness,
29 Balamu'a anage huno Balakina asmi'ne, amare 7ni'a kresramna vu ita tro hunentenka, 7ni'a bulimakao afu'ene 7ni'a ve sipisipi afutamine uvrenka eno.
and Balaam says to Balak, “Build seven altars for me in this [place], and prepare seven bullocks and seven rams for me in this [place]”;
30 Higeno Balamu'ma asmiaza huno Balaki'a, Ana 7ni'a itarera mago mago ve bulimakaone, mago mago ve sipisipine aheno kresramna vutere hu'ne.
and Balak does as Balaam said, and he offers a bullock and a ram on an altar.
