The oracle, on Nineveh, —the scroll of the vision of Nahum, the Elkoshite.
2 Ra Anumzana agra kanive nereno nona hu Anumza mani'ne. Ra Anumzamo'a Agra tusi arimpa nehegeno nona nehie. Iza'zo Ra Anumzamofoma ha'ma renentaza vahe'mokizmia Agra arimpa ahenezmanteno nona nehie. Ana nehiankino Agri rimpa ahe'zamo'a ha' vahe'arera meno vugahie.
A GOD jealous and avenging, is Yahweh, an avenger, is Yahweh, and a lord of wrath, an avenger, is Yahweh towards his adversaries, and, a retainer [of anger], is he to his foes.
3 Ra Anumzamo'a ame huno arimpa noheanagi, Agrira tusi'a hankave'a me'ne. Ana hu'neankino hazenkema nehaza vahera zamatrenige'za amanea omanigahaze. Agra hankave'a zahopi erinte ama nehuno, ununkopi erinte ama nehie. Ana nehigeno agiafinti'ma evia kugusopamo'a hampona negie.
Yahweh, is slow to anger, but great in vigour, He will not leave, unpunished, as for Yahweh, in storm-wind and in tempest, is his way, and, clouds, are the dust of his feet.
4 Anumzamo'a hagerimofonku hunteno, hagege huo huno'ma higeno'a, hagerimo'a hagege nehanageno, mika tintamina eri nerane. Who rebuketh the sea and hath made it dry, and, all the streams, hath he dried up, —withered are Bashan and Carmel, Even the bloom of Lebanon, is withered:
5 Anumzamofo avuga agonaramimo'za torevare nehazageno, ne'onse agonaramimo'za mara'mra hu'za mekineramize. Ana nehigeno ama mopafima mani'naza vahe'mo'zane, ama mopamo'enena Agri avuga zamahirahiku nehaze.
Mountains, have trembled because of him, and, the hills, have melted, —and the earth, hath lifted itself up, at his presence, the world also, and all who dwell therein.
6 Ana hu'neankino Anumzamofo arimpahe zama esanigeno'a, iza oti hankavetino nemanisigeno, iza knarera hu'nesia vahemo rimpa ahe'zana oti hankavetineno erino vugahie? Before his indignation, who shall stand? And who shall abide the glow of his anger? His wrath, hath been poured forth like fire, and, the rocks, have been broken down because of him.
7 Ra Anumzamo'a knare hu'neankino, tamagerfa huno knazama esania knafina hankave vihugna hurantegahie. Agrite'ma amuhama nehu'za taza hugahiema hu'za nehaza vahera Agra zamageno antahino hu'neankino, knazama esania knafina Agra kegava hunezamante.
Good is Yahweh, as a protection in the day of distress, —and one who acknowledgeth them who seek refuge in him.
8 Hianagi Agri'ma ha'ma renentaza vahera, tima hageno eaza huno eme ruharafi huno vugahie. Ana nehuno ha' vahe'a zamarotago hanige'za hanimpi ufregahaze.
But, with an overflow rolling on, a full end, will he make of them who rise up against him, —and, his foes, will he pursue into darkness.
What can ye devise against Yahweh? A full end, is he making, —Distress, shall not rise up twice:
10 Zamagra ave'ave trazamo zamazeri traka hiaza nehuta, aka ti ne'nea vahe'mo hiaza huta traka taraku nehanageno, hagege ave've traza harafi hu'za tevefi krazankna huno tamazeri fanane hugahie.
Though they were like thorns intertwined, and as drunkards drenched with their drink, yet have they been devoured, like stubble fully dry.
11 Ninive kumamofo agu'afintira mago vahe eama huno, Ra Anumzamofo avure'ma havi avu'ava zama hu' antahintahia retro nehuno kefo antahi'zana nezamie.
Out of thee, hath one come forth—plotting, against Yahweh, wickedness, —A counselor of the Abandoned One.
12 Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Israeli vahe'motagura nehie, Asiria vahera rama'a vahe maniza hankavenentake vahe mani'nazanagi zamagra haviza hu'za fanane hugahaze. Nagri vahe'mota kora tamazeri haviza hu'noane. Hianagi menina mago'enena tamazeri havizana osugahue.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Though they be in full force, and so in great numbers, yet, even so, have they been cut off, and have passed away, —If I humble thee [once], I will not humble thee again.
13 Asiria vahe'mo'zama tamagri tamanankempima karenamare zafama eri rusima hunte nazana eri'na ru tamana hunetre'na, seni nofiteti'ma kinama rezamante nazana rukano hutregahue.
Now, therefore, will I break his yoke from off thee, —and, thy fetters, will I tear off.
14 Hanki Ra Anumzamo'a Asiria vahe'ma Ninive kumapima nemaniza vahekura amanage hu'ne. Tamagri tamagima eri'za manisnaza mofavre nagara, mago'enena omanitfa hugahaze. Tamagrama mono'ma hunentaza havi anumzaramimofo mono nontamimpima havi anumzamofo amema'aramima ante'nazana eri haviza huvagaregahue. Tamagra omanita frita vanagu matimati tamina retro huneramantoe. Na'ankure tamagra kefo vahetfa mani'neta ama mopafina manigara osu'naze.
Then will Yahweh give command concerning thee, None of thy name shall be sown any more, —out of the house of thy gods, will I cut off carved image and molten image, I will appoint thy grave, for thou art of little esteem.
15 Tamagra Juda vahe'mota keho, knare musenkema erinoma ne-ea vahe'mo'a agonaramintegati ne-e. Agra arimpa fru huno mani zamofo naneke erino ne-e. Lo! upon the mountains, The feet of one, who bringeth Good Tidings! who publisheth Prosperity! Celebrate, O Judah, thy pilgrim festivals, fulfil thy vows, for, not again, any more, shall the Abandoned One, pass through thee, he hath been wholly cut off.
