1 Ninive rankumapima nemaniza vahe'mota kva hiho. Tamagra havige nehuta vahe zamahe nefriza vahe mani'naze. Ana nehuta hapinti vahe feno zantamina rohu zamareta Ninive kumapina eri ante avite'naze.
Alas for the city of bloodshed! All of it, deceit, of violence full, none releaseth prey!
2 Ha' vahe'mokizmi sondia vahe'mo'za karisi zamifi mani'neza hosi afu zamima sefu'ma rumeki nezami'zama neazageno neria agasasane, karisi zamimofo tazamo'ma havema refaragu'ma vazino ne-ea zamofa agasasane, hosi afuzamimo'zama vagari vagarima hu'za esaza zamofo zamagasasankea antahigahaze.
The sound of the whip, and the sound of the rushing wheel, —and horse galloping, and dancing chariot rattling along.
3 Ha' vahe'mo'za hosi agumpi manine'za taragi'za ne-eazageno, bainati kazi zamireti'ene karugaru keve zamiretira ru marave marave nehanige'za egahaze. Ana nehu'za rama'a vahe eme zamahe frisnageno, frisaza vahe'mokizmi zamavufagamo'a hihi huno amne zankna huno hamprigara osugahie. 4 E'i ana zama fore'ma haniana na'ankure, Ninive kumamo'a mago knare agi agonane monko a'mo'ma safeza huno vene'nema zamavare agrarega atreankna huno, maka kumatamimpi vahera zamazeri savari hige'za eme monko avu'ava zana nehazageno, safe'zama nehia zantamina rempi huzamige'za ana avu'ava hu'nazagu anara hugahie.
Because of the multitude of the unchaste doings of the unchaste one, fair in grace, mistress of secret arts, —who hath been selling nations by her unchaste doings, families by her secret arts,
5 Hankavenentake Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno nehie, Ninive kumamoka hara hugante'na siketi kenaka'a erisga hu'na kavugosa refitenunka kavufga kavapako oti'nesanke'za maka ama mopafi vahe'mo'za negagesagenka tusi kagazegu hugahane.
Behold me! against thee, Declareth Yahweh of hosts, Therefore will I remove thy shirts over thy face, —and let, nations, see thy nakedness, and, kingdoms, thy shame;
6 Nagra himna vu'nesania tetemuteti kazeri haviza hugahue. Nagrama kazeri havizama hanua zana maka ama mopafi vahe'mo'za negesu'za kiza zokago ke hugantegahaze.
And I will cast upon thee abominable filth, and treat thee as foolish, —and set thee as a gazing-stock.
7 Ana maka vahe'mo'zama kagri'ma kagesaza vahe'mo'za, zamagia zamefigati reme reme nevu'za amanage hugahaze. Ninive kumamo'a haviza huno kugusopafi maseanagi, iza eno zavira eme atenentesigeno, iza eno eme asunkura hunenteno azeri so'ea huntegahie? hu'za hugahaze.
And it shall come to pass that, all who see thee, shall flee from thee, and shall say, Destroyed is Nineveh! Who will bemoan her?—Whence shall I seek any to comfort thee?
8 Naeli ran timofo ankenaregama Tebesi kumamo'ma knare'ma huno me'negeno'ma, timo'ma kagintegeno'ma me'nea kumara kagra Ninive kumamoka rugaterenka knarera hu'nampi? Ana kumamofona hagerimo vihugnara huntegeno timo'a maka asoparega keginagna huno mekaginte'neno agura nevazie.
Art thou better than No-amon, who sat among the Nile-streams, waters round about her, —whose fortress was the sea, from the sea, her wall.
9 Itiopia mopafi vahe'mo'zane, Isipi mopafi vahe'mo'za Tebesi rankumapi vahera ozmatre zamazahu vava nehaze. Ana nehakeno ana knafinena Puti mopafi vahe'mo'zane Libia mopafi vahe'mo'za zamagranena Tebesi mopafi vahera zamaza huke hara hu'na'e.
Ethiopia, was her strength, and Egypt—Yea, without end, —Put and Lubim, were among thy helpers.
10 Hianagi Tebesi rankumara ha' vahe'mo'za eme ha' hunte'za eri haviza nehu'za vahera zamavare'za kuma zamirega kina ome huzmante'naze. Ne'onse mofavre naga zaminena zamazerite'za maka kumamofo kantu hanafi ruragati'za zamahe'naze. Sondia vahe'mo'za satu zokago re'za nege'za, Isipi kamanimofo eri'za vahera refko hu'za eri'za vahe'zami zamare'naze. Ana nehu'za Tebesi rankuma'ma kvama hu'naza kva vahetamina seni nofiteti kina huzmante'naze.
Yet, she, was given up to exile, she went into captivity, even her babes, were dashed to the ground, at the head of all the streets, —and, for her honourable men, cast they lots, and, all her great men, were bound together in chains.
11 Ninive kumamoka, kagranena aka ti ne'naza vahe'mo'za neginagi nehazankna hugahane. Ana nehunka ha' vahe'mokizmigu koro nehunka frakisana kumaku hakegahane.
Thou too, shalt be drunken, thou shalt hide thyself, —thou too, shalt seek shelter from the foe:
12 Kagri'ma ha'ma eme hugantenaza vahe'mo'za, kumamofo vihu keginaka'a eme tapage hutrenageno, mago vahe'mo fiki zafa eri tagosi tagosi nehigeno, ese'ma afure'nea fiki ragamo evuramino vahe agipi freankna hugahie.
All thy fortresses, shall be fig-trees with first-ripe figs: if thy be shaken, then shall [the fruit] fall on the mouth of the eater.
13 Kagri sondia vahe'mokizmia, a'nemofoma hiaza huno hankave zamia omane amane hanige'za mago zana osugahaze. Kagri mopafima ha' vahe'mo'zama efresaza kamo'a ruhagro hugahie. Ran kumamofo kafante'ma eri rusima nehaza zafa tevemo teno eri hana hugahie.
Lo! thy people, are women, in thy midst, to thy foes, have been set wide open the gates of thy and, —a fire, hath devoured, thy bars.
14 Kagri ha' vahe'mo'zama kuma'ma eme avazagi kagi sagenka'ma kumamofo agu'afima mani'nenka'ma nesana zana tina afinka retro huo. Ana nehunka kumamofo vihu kegina eri hankavetio. Higo mopa kafinka eri hapa hapa hunka simentia tro hutenka, kuma kegina hunka eri hankavetio.
Siege-water, draw for thyself, strengthen thy fortresses, —go into the clay, and tread thou the mortar, make strong the brick.
15 Hianagi Ninive kumamoka kagria tevemo teno eri hana nehanige'za, ha' vahe'mo'za bainati kazinteti vahera eme zamahe hana hugahaze. Ha' vahe'mo'za kenu'mo traza neno eri fananema hiaza hu'za tamagrira tamahe vaga nere'za, nazamo'ma zamavugama evania zanena kege'za otre ne'za eri fanane hugahaze. Tamagra kora kenu'mo hiaza huta rama'a vahe fore huta eri hakare hu'nazanagi, tamagrama freta ome tamagu'ma vazisaza kana omanetfa hugahie!
There, shall a fire devour thee, the sword, shall cut thee off, it shall devour thee like the grass locust, make thyself numerous like the grass locust, make thyself numerous as the swarming locust:
16 Monafi hanafi'ma me'neama'a rugatere'za zagorema nanazama atre'za eri'zama nehaza vahe'mo'za tamagripina kora mani'nazane. Hianagi kenumo'za zafani'na vatari hana hute'za, zamageko'na rutare'za hare'za frazankna hugahaze.
Though thou have multiplied thy foot-soldiers beyond the stars of the heavens, the grass locust, hath stript itself and flown away!
17 Tamagri sondia vahe'mo'zane, kva vahe'mo'za zamagranena kenukna hu'nazanki'za, zasi ko'matia knafima kenumo'zama magopi hare'za e'za keginare eme rukamarazankna nehaze. Hianagi zagema hanatige'za ana kenu tamimo'za hare'za frazankna hu'za, inantego frazage'za vahe'mo'za nozamagaze.
Thy mercenary crowds, are like the swarming locust, and, thy mixed multitudes, like locusts—swarms of locusts, —which settle in the hedges on a cold day, the sun, hath broken forth, and they are in flight, and unknown is the place where they are!
18 Asiria kini ne'moka, sipisipi afute kva vahekamo'zane, eri'za vahekamo'zanena zamavu mase'naze. Ana hu'nazage'za sipisipi afute kva vahe omani'negeno sipisipi afutamimo agona agona panani huno freankna hu'za, kagri vahe'mo'za panani hu'za ufre efre hu'naze. Ana hu'nazankino mago vahe'mo zamazeri tru hugara osu'ne.
Asleep are thy shepherds, O king of Assyria, thy nobles, must needs rest. Scattered are thy people upon the mountains, and there is none to gather them.
19 Kagrama hazenkema eri'nana zamo'a, mago namunkna hu'neankino marasinimo'a kazeri kanamaregara osu'ne. Kagrama hazenkema erina nanekema vahe'mo'zama antahisu'za, muse nehu'za zamaza ahegahaze. Na'ankure kagra mago vahera otre havi avu'ava zama huzamante vavama hu'nana zanku anara hugahaze.
No lessening of thine injury, grievous is thy wound, —all who have heard the report of thee, have clapped their hands over thee, for, upon whom, hath not thy cruelty passed without ceasing?
