1 Hagi Jisasi'ma agonaregati'ma eramige'za, tusi'a vea krerfamo'za amage vu'naze.
When Jesus had come down from the hill, great crowds followed him.
2 Mago fugo namure'nea ne'mo'a, avuga rena emereno amanage hu'ne, Ramoka Kagrama naza huku'ma nehanunka, Kagra amane nazeri avusese hugahane.
He saw a leper who came up, and bowed to the ground before him, and said, ‘Master, if only you are willing, you are able to make me clean.’
3 Higeno Jisasi'a azana antegantuteno ana ne'mofo avufare avako nehuno, anage hu'ne, Nagrima navesiana, fugo namunka'amo'a amane hugahie. Higeno ame huno ana fugo namumo'a afe higeno, avusese hu'ne.
Stretching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying as he did so, ‘I am willing; become clean.’ Instantly he was made clean from his leprosy;

and then Jesus said to him, ‘Be careful not to say a word to anyone, but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift directed by Moses, as evidence of your cure.’

After Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion in the Roman army came up to him, entreating his help.

‘Sir,’ he said, ‘my manservant is lying ill at my house with a stroke of paralysis, and is suffering terribly.’

‘I will come and cure him,’ answered Jesus.
8 Hianagi ana sondia kva ne'mo'a kenona'a anage hu'ne, Ramoka, nagra knarera osu'noankinka, eno hanugenka nagri nompina omegahane. Hanki amane ke'age nehugeno, eri'za ne'nia knare hunteno.
‘Sir,’ the centurion went on, ‘I am unworthy to receive you under my roof; but only speak, and my manservant will be cured.
9 Na'ankure nagranena mago kva vahe'mofo hinkanaga mani'nogeno, sondia vahe'mo'zanena nagri hinkanaga mani'nazage'na, mago'mofonku hu'na vuo hugeno, agra nevie. Mago'mofonku eno hugeno agra ne-e. Hagi nagrani'a kazokzo eri'za neku, amana huo hugeno, agra anazana nehie.
For I myself am a man under the orders of others, with soldiers under me; and, if I say to one of them “Go,” he goes, and to another “Come,” he comes, and to my slave “Do this,” he does it.’
10 Hagi Jisasi'a ana ke nentahino'a, tusi antri nehuno, amage'ma vu'naza nagara anage huno zamasmi'ne, Nagra tamage huna neramasamue, mago nera Israeli vahepina amanahu hanave amentintine nera, Nagra onketfa hu'noe.
Jesus was surprised to hear this, and said to those who were following him, ‘Never I tell you, in any Israelite have I met with such faith as this!
11 Amanage hu'na neramasamue, hakare'a veamo'za zage nehanatia kazigati'ene zage fre kazigati'ene eri hantage'za Abraha'ene Aisaki'ene Jekopu'ene monafina muse nehu'za, ne'za nene'za manigahaze.
Yes, and many will come in from East and West and take their places beside Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven;
12 Hu'neanagi rama'a zamagri kumarema huno'ma huzmante'nea Israeli vahe'mo'za tusi'a kumazu hanimpi megi'a zamatresage'za, anantega manine'za zavira nete'za, zamavera aninkreki hugahaze.
while the heirs to the kingdom will be banished into the darkness outside; there, there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.’
13 Anante Jisasi'a 100'a sondia vahete kva nera anage huno asami'ne, Kagrama kamentinti hanku kagrira kaza hugahianki amne vuo, huno humanentegeno'a, ana kna fatgore eri'za ne'amofona kri'amo'a atrente'ne.
Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go now, and it will be according to your faith.’ And the man was cured that very hour.
14 Pita nompi Jisasi'ma umarerino ome keana, nenemo ara avufa amuho amaho kri erino mase'negeno omege'ne.
When Jesus went into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law prostrated with fever.
15 Ana huteno ana a'mofo azante ome avako higeno, avufa amuho zamo'a atrentegeno, otino neza tro huno zami'ne.
On his taking her hand, the fever left her, and she rose and began to take care of him.
16 Kinagama segeno'a, hakare havi avamutami zamagu'a fre'nea vahe zaga zamare'za Agrite e'naze. Agra ana havi avamura kereti ahenati netreno, maka krima eri'naza vahera zamazeri knamare'ne.
In the evening the people brought to Jesus many who were possessed by demons; and he drove out the spirits with a word, and cured all who were ill,
17 Amana zana kasnampa ne'mo, Aisaia korapa hunte'nea kemofo avufa'a efore hu'ne. Agra kumitia e'nerino kritia eri atrerante'ne hu'ne. (Ais 53:4.)
in fulfilment of these words in the prophet Isaiah – “He took our infirmities on himself, and bore the burden of our diseases.”
18 Anante Jisasi'ma kegeno tusi'a vahe'mo'za Agrira azeri kagigeno'a, Agra zamasmino timofo kantu kaziga viho huno amage'ma nentaza disaipoli nagara huzmante'ne.
Seeing a crowd round him, Jesus gave orders to go across.
19 Anante magora kasegere ugagota hu'nea ne'mo Agrite eno amanage hu'ne, Rempi hurami nere, inantego vnanana, nagra kamage ante'na vugahue.
A teacher of the Law came up to him, and said, ‘Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.’
20 Higeno Jisasi'a amanage huno agrira asami'ne, Afi kramofona mopafi nemasea kerigama'a me'ne. Hare'za vanoma nehaza namaramimofona nozamia me'ne. Hianagi Vahe'mofo Mofavre'mofona asenima anteharege huno masesia zana omane'ne.
‘Foxes have holes,’ answered Jesus, ‘and wild birds their nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.’
21 Jisasi amagema nentaza disaipol nagapinti mago zamimo anage hu'ne, Ramoka natrege'na pusazana nenfana ome asenteteno huno hu'ne.
‘Master,’ said another, who was a disciple, ‘let me first go and bury my father.’
22 Hianagi Jisasi'a anage huno asami'ne, Nagri namage eme nentenka, atrege'za fri kerfamo'za, zamagri'a fri kerfa asenteho.
But Jesus answered, ‘Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their dead.’
23 Jisasi'ma votifima marenerige'za, Agri amage'ma nentaza disaipol naga'mo'za avaririza vu'naze.
Then he got into the boat, followed by his disciples.
24 Nevazageno tusi'a zaho komo ana tirupinti agafa huteno, ana timo'a eri kranto kranto huno votia refite'za hu'ne. Jisasi'a masenegeno anara hu'ne.
Suddenly so great a storm came up on the sea, that the waves broke right over the boat. But Jesus was asleep;
25 Hige'za amagema nentaza disaipoli naga'mo'za, Agrite eza eme azeri oneti'za anage hu'naze, taza huo Ramoka, Hago tagra friza nehune.
and the disciples came and roused him. ‘Master,’ they cried, ‘save us; we are lost!’
26 Hianagi zamagrikura anage hu'ne, Nahigetma korera nehaze, onensa tamentintine nagara? Nehuno Agra anante otino hanave ke huno ana zaho ene, tinena rurava huo higeno, kranto krantoma nehiretira, arane'ne.
‘Why are you so timid?’ he said. ‘You of little faith!’ Then Jesus rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and a great calm followed.
27 Hige'za ana disaipol naga'mo'za tusi zamagogogu nehu'za, zahomo'ene, timo'ene ke'a erizafa nehianki, ama inankna vahere? hu'naze.
The men were amazed, and exclaimed, ‘What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!’
28 Jisasi'ma timofo kantu kaziga Gadara uhanatigeno'a, hankaro'mo znagu'a fre'negeke matipi nemani'a netremoke, Jisasi'ene tutagiha hu'na'e. Zanagra tusi hamponatikeno vahe'mo'za koro hu'za ana kantera novazane.
On getting to the other side – the region of the Gadarenes – Jesus met two men who were possessed by demons, coming out of the tombs. They were so violent that no one was able to pass that way.
29 Zanagra tusi kezatike, Anumzamofo Mofavre'moka, nago'azana huorantenka tataro. Kagrama amafima e'nanana tagri tazeri haviza hunaku e'nano, knama osu'nefina?
Suddenly they shrieked out, ‘What do you want with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before our time?’
30 Hagi mago'a ogantu'agna rama'a afu zagamo'za ne'za nene'za mani'naze.
A long way off, there was a herd of many pigs, feeding;
31 Anante ana hankaromo'za anage hu'za antahige'naze, Tagri'ma tahe natitresunka, hurantegeta antu afu'zagafi uframneno.
and the foul spirits began begging Jesus, ‘If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.’
32 Hazageno Jisasi'a anage hu'ne, Viho! Hige'za atiramiza afu'zagafi ufrageno, ana afu'zagamo'za zamagage zamagage hu'za zaveniteti tirupi tkaure'za ti nakri'naze.
‘Go,’ he said. The spirits came out, and entered the pigs; and the whole herd rushed down the steep slope into the sea, and died in the water.
33 Unefrizage'za afu' kva vahe'mo'za zamaga re'za vu'za kumate uhanati'za, anama hu'naza zamofo naneke vea' ome nezamasami'za ana netremokizni zanagu'afinti'ma hankro'mo'za atirami'zama afu'mofo agu'afi ufre'zama fri'naza naneke zamasmi'naze.
At this the men who tended them ran away and went to the town, carrying the news of all that had occurred, and of what had happened to the possessed men.
34 Anante ana kumapinti vahe krerfamo'za eri hantge'za Jisasinte e'za, emema nege'za, Ama tagri kazigatira ko atrenka vuo, hu'za hunte'naze.
At the news the whole town went out to meet Jesus, and, when they saw him, they entreated him to go away from their region.
