< Matiu 6 >
1 Vahe'mofo avure fatgo avu'ava nehanage'za kagezankura kva hiho, monafi mani'nea Neramafa'a mizana ontamigahie.
Beware of doing your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.
2 Hanki kagrama zamunte omane vahe'ma zamaza hunka keonke'zama zamisunka, ufenkrafahu vahera huzmantege'za ufre'za ugota osiho, havige vahe'mo'za mono nompine (sinagog) kantegane nehaza knara osuo, e'ina hanankeno'a vahe'mo'za kagi erisaga hugahaze. Nagra tamage hu'na nermasmue, hago zamagra mizazmi'a eri'naze.
When, therefore, you do a charitable deed, do not cause a trumpet to be sounded before you, as the hypocrites do, in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be glorified by men. Verily, I say to you, They have their reward.
3 Hianagi zamunte omane vahe zamaza hanunka, atregeno hoga kazamo'a, tamaga kazamo'ma hania zana onkeno,
But when you do a charitable deed, let not your left hand know what your right hand does;
4 e'ina hunka oku'a amigeno, oku'a me'negeno negea Negafa Anumzamo'a mizana kamigahie.
that your charitable deeds may be in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, himself will reward you openly.
And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues, and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily, I say to you, They have their reward.
6 Hianagi tamagrama nunamu hunaku hanuta, nomofo agu'afi ufreta, kafa eri kiteta Neramafantega oku'a nunamu hiho. Hinkeno oku'aza negea Neramafa'a mizana tamigahie.
But do you, when you pray, go into your closet, and when you have closed the door, pray to your Father who is in secret: and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
7 Nunamuma hanuta, agu'agesa omne vahe'mo'za revahe revahe hu'za, megi'a vahe'mo'za (gentiles) hantgazankna kea osiho, na'ankure zamagrama antahi'zana, rama'a naneke nehusunkeno Anumzamo'a antahisie hu'za nehaze.
But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8 E'i ana hu'negu zamagri knara osiho. Na'ankure antahi onkenageno atupa'ma hu'naza zana ko tamagri Neramafa'a antahi'ne.
Be not, therefore, like them; for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him.
9 Amanahu kna hutma nunamuna hiho. Tagri Nafati'moka monafi mani'nane, Kagri Kagimo ruotage huno mesie.
In this manner, therefore, pray you: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
10 Kagri mona kumara esie, Kagri kavesi'zana monafinka nehazankna huno, ama mopafi efore hanie.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is done in heaven.
11 Mago mago knare'ma nesuna ne'zana menina tamio.
Give us this day the bread for our support.
12 Kumitia atre'rantegeta, anahu kna huta kumi'ma hurante'namokizmi'a atre'zmanta maneno.
And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
13 Ana nehunka tatregeta rerahe'zampina uoframaneno. Hianagi hankromofo azampintira taza hunka tavro. [Na'ankure Kagri mona kumamo mevava hugahie. Tamage.]
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One.
14 Hagi tamagrima kefoza hurmantesamokizmi kumi'zami atrezmante sageno'a, monare nemania Nafatimo'a, kumi'tamia eri atre ramantegahie.
For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 Hagi vahe'mokizmi kefozazimi atre ozmante snageno'a, monare nafatmimo'a, kefo zantamia atre oramantegahie.
But if you forgive not men their offenses, neither will your Father forgive your offenses.
And when you fast, do not put on a sad countenance, as the hypocrites do; for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear to men to be fasting. Verily, I say to you, They have their reward.
17 Hianagi ne'zama a'o hanutma, tamasenire masavena nefretma, tamugosa sese hiho.
But do you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face;
18 E'ina hanageno nezama a'oma hanaza zana vahe'mo'za onkeho. Hianagi tamagri Neramafa oku'a nemanimo kagegahie. Nehuno oku'a me'negeno negea Neramafa'a mizana tamagrira tamigahie.
that you may not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
19 Ama mopafina knare'nare fenona eritru osiho, havi kafamo'ene, krogroheno erihaviza nehanigeno, kumza vahe'mo'za nona anafe hu'za kumza nesaze.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal.
20 Hianagi monafinka fenona havi kafamo'ene, krogro ohegeno, kumza vahe'mo'za nona tagana vaziza kumza ose fenotamina, tamagra eritru hiho.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break through, nor steal.
21 Na'ankure fenonka'a me'nenirega, e'i anantega kagu'amo'a megahie.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 Kavurgamo'a kavufa'mofo rampe tavi me'ne, ana hu'neankino kavurgamo knare huno me'nenigeno'a, mika kavufamofona remsa hugantegahie.
The lamp of the body is the eye: if, therefore, your eye be sound, your whole body will be light:
23 Hianagi kavurgamo'ma haviza hanigeno'a, mika kavufa hanizamo refitegahie. Hianagi kagu'afi me'nea tavimo asu'ma hanigeno'a, tusi'a hani hugahie.
But if your eye be diseased, your whole body will be dark. If therefore, the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 Mago'mo'a tare kva netrentera eri'zana e'origahie. Na'ankure anamo'a mago'mofona avesra hunenteno, mago'mofona avesi nenteno, mago'mofonte amage nenteno, mago'mofona kefenkami atregahie. Kagra Anumzante'ene zagore'enena erizana eri otegahane.
No one can serve two masters: for he will either hate the one and love the other; or he will hold to the one, and neglect the other. You can not serve God and riches.
25 E'ina hu'negu, Nagra neramasmue, tamagrama manisnaza zankura tamagesa antahintahi hakare osuta, naza kavera negahune, igati tina negahune, kukena tavufarera na'a hugahune huta ontahiho. Anampina kavemo'a mani'zana agaterenefi, hipi kukenamo'a tavufa agatere'neo?
For this reason I say to you, Be not anxious for your life, what you shall eat, and what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not your life a greater gift than food, and your body than clothing?
26 Namamo'ma hareno vano nehiana keho, zamagra hoza ante'za, kafiza, eri atru hu'za, kave ante'nompina nontazanagi, monare nemania Neramafa ne'zana nezamie. Namamo'za tamagrira tamagaterenafi? A'o.
Observe the birds of the air, that they neither sow, nor reap, nor gather into granaries. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they?
27 Hagi mago tamimo'ma knare'zama huno mani'zanku'ma antahintahi hakarema hania zamo'a, asimu'a erizazara hugahio? A'o.
Which of you, by his anxiety, can add one span to his life?
28 Nahigetma kukena huzankura hakare antahintahia nehaze? Flauamo'a nankna huno nehagefi keho, zamagra eri'za e'oriza kukena trora nosaze.
And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field how they grow: they toil not, nor do they spin.
29 Ana hianagi Solomoni'a avasese'amo hu'nea knare nare kukena hu'neanagi, ami flauamofo avasese'amo'a agatere'ne.
But I say to you, That Solomon, in all his glory, was not clothed like one of these.
30 Hianagi Anumzamo'ma, amuma me'nea trazama kukenama huma ante'neana, menina me'neanagi vahe'mo'za okina tevefi eri kregahaze. Ana hu'negu tamagrira Anumzamo'a agatereno kukena hurmantegahie. Tamagra osi'a tamentinti'ne naga mani'naze.
If then, God so clothes the herb of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 Ana hu'nagu tamagra nanezane tine neneta nakukena hugahune hutma hakare antahintahi osiho.
Therefore, be not anxious, saying: What shall we eat? or, what shall we drink? or, with what shall we be clothed?
32 Na'ankure mono ontahi vahe'mo'za, miko zankura nehakaze. Na'ankure monafi nemania Neramafa'a miko zankuma upama hu'nazana ko antahi'ne.
For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 Hianagi kota zana, Anumzamofo kumaku'ene, fatgo avu'avazanku haketenkeno, ana maka'zana anazanke huno tamamigahie.
But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you in addition.
34 E'i zanku oki fore hania zankura tamagesa hakare osiho. Na'ankure okizana atrenkeno, agra'a kva krino, mago knare'ma esia hazenkea, ana knazupage knaza megahie.
Therefore, be not anxious about the morrow, for the morrow will have anxieties of its own. Sufficient for the day is its own evil.
