< Matiu 27 >

1 Ko'matigeno nanterama'a maka ugagota mono kva vahe'ene, ranra kva vahe'mo'za atru huza Jisasi ahefrisnaza naneke hunaki'naze.
Now when morning had come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
2 Ana hute'za Jisasina azeri'za nofi kite'za, rankumamofo kagota kva ne' (Gavana) Paeroti avare'za omemi'naze.
and they bound him, and led him away, and delivered him to Pilate, the governor.
3 Hagi komoru huno avare zami'nea ne' Judasi'a antahiama Jisasi frigahie kema nentahino'a, rama'a asuza e'nerino, 30'a silva zago ami'naza zago'a erino ugagota mono kava vahete'ene ranra vahete vuno,
Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that Jesus was condemned, felt remorse, and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 amanage hu'ne, Hazenke'a omane ne'ma komoru hu'na avare tamuana, nagra kumi hue huno hige'za zamagra anage hu'naze, tagri zana omane'neanki kagri'zane hu'naze.
saying, "I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? You see to it."
5 Judasi'a ana zago'a mate'vuno ra mono nomofo agu'afi netreno, vuno kana ome he'ne.
He threw down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed. He went away and hanged himself.
6 Ugagota mono kva vahe'mo'za ana zago eneriza anage hu'naze, Trakemo'a i'o hu'negu vahe'ma zamahe frikuma mizama ase'naza zago'a mono nomofo zago tafempina ontegahune.
The chief priests took the pieces of silver, and said, "It's not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood."
7 Anante kehuge antahige hute'za, ana zagonuti mopa kavo tro nehia ne'mofo mopa, ru kazigati emani vahe fri hanageta asezamantesuna mope hu'za mizase'naze.
They took counsel, and bought the potter's field with them, to bury strangers in.
8 Amana kegafare, ana mopagura kora mope hu'za meninena nehaze.
Therefore that field was called "The Field of Blood" to this day.
9 Anante kasnampa ke Jeremaia hunte'nea kemo avufga'a fore hu'ne. Israeli vahe'mo'za agri avufgare huhamprinte'naza 30'a silva zagoa zamagra eri'naze,
Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying, "They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him upon whom a price had been set, whom some of the children of Israel priced,
and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."
Now Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said to him, "You say so."
12 Hagi ra mono kva vahe'mo'zane, ranra kva vahe'mo'za naneke humanentageno'a Jisasi'a kenona huozmante'ne.
When he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Anante Paeroti'a amanage hu'ne, Hakare hazenkema hu'nana zanku'ma naneke'ma huma negantazana nentahimpi?
Then Pilate said to him, "Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?"
14 Hianagi Jisasi'a magore huno, keagama huntea kerera, kenona'a osutfa higeno, Paeroti'a tusi'a antri hu'ne.
He gave him no answer, not even one word, so that the governor was greatly amazed.
15 Hagi rankumate kva ne'mo'a agri'a avu'avakino mika kafurera kinafinti zamavare'nea knare muse hu'za kave'ma nenaza zupa (pasova) kinafinti zamesimofonku hazageno avare fegu'a netreane.
Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release to the crowd one prisoner, whom they desired.
16 Hagi ana knafina mago nera agi'a Barabasi'e tusi hazenketi'nea ne' kina nompi mani'ne.
They had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 Maka veama atru hutageno'a, Paeroti'a zamantahigeno, azanku tamenesi'a katufe tamisue? Barabasipi, Jisasinku Kraisi'ema nehaza nere?
When therefore they were gathered together, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus, who is called Christ?"
For he knew that because of envy they had delivered him up.
19 Paeroti'a ke refakohu tra'are'ma mani'negeno'a, nenaro'a ke atregeno vu'ne.
While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, "Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him."
20 Hianagi ra mono kva vahe'mo'zane, ranra kva vahe'mo'za, Barabasi tamiho nehutma Jisasina ahefrio hutma hiho, hu'za mika atru hunaza veara masave ke zmasami'naze.
Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
21 Hagi rankuma kva ne'mo'a, ama tare netrempitira inamofonku tamenesigu nagra katufe tamisue? Higeza zamagra Barabasie hu'naze.
But the governor answered them, "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" They said, "Barabbas."
22 Paeroti'a zmasamino, Jisasinku tazahu ne' Kraisi'ema nehaza nera na'a huntesuegu tamenesi'e? Hige'za ana mika veamo'za, Rugeka zafare aho, hu'za kezatiza hazageno,
Pilate said to them, "What then should I do with Jesus, who is called Christ?" They all said, "Let him be crucified."
23 Paeroti'a kenona huzmanteno, naza havizana hu'negeta neheze? huno hige'za, mago'ene kezati'za, Rugeka'zafare ahegeno frino.
But he said, "Why? What evil has he done?" But they shouted all the louder, saying, "Let him be crucified."
24 Hazageno Paeroti'a keana maka veamo'za rankege hazageno, mago'za huga nosuno tifino hakare vea zamufi aza sese nehuno, ama ne'mofo kora kumira nagripina omanegahianki, tamagri zane.
So Pilate, seeing that nothing was being gained, but rather that a disturbance was starting, took water and he washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this righteous man. You see to it."
25 Hige'za hakare veamo'za kenona'a hu'za, atregeno agri kora kumimo'a, tagripine mofavretifine meno hu'naze.
All the people answered, "May his blood be on us, and on our children."
26 Anante Paeroti'a Barabasina atregeno vigeno, Jisasina sefu amite'za rugeka zafare hesnazegu avare'zmine.
Then he released to them Barabbas, but Jesus he flogged and delivered to be crucified.
27 Rankumate kva ne'mofo sondia vahe'mo'za Jisasi avare'za ana nemofo kumapi mika sondia vahe nemaniza kumate ufrageno regaginte'naze.
Then the governor's soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium, and gathered the whole garrison together against him.
28 Anante Jisasina kukena'a eri'hate netre'za koranke kukena hunente'za,
They stripped him, and put a scarlet robe on him.

They braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, "Greetings, King of the Jews."
30 Zametu ahenente'za azampinti azota hanare'za anumpi amasagi'naze.
They spat on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head.
31 Ana hu'za huhaviza huntete'za, ana koranke kukena hatenetre'za, agri kukena ete erihuntete'za, rugeka zafare ahe'za hantinaku avare'za vu'naze.
When they had mocked him, they took the robe off of him, and put his clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.
As they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name, and they compelled him to go with them, that he might carry his cross.
33 Mago kumara aseni zaferine nehazare (Golgota) uhanati'naze.
They came to a place called "Golgotha," that is to say, "The place of a skull."
34 Anante waini timpi akaza erihava hute'za, Jisasina amizageno neno keana higeno, one'ne.
They gave him wine to drink mixed with gall. When he had tasted it, he would not drink.
When they had crucified him, they divided his clothing among themselves, casting a lot, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: 'They divided my clothes among themselves, and for my clothing they cast a lot.'
36 Anante Jisasinte kvagri'za mani'naze.
And they sat and watched him there.
37 Hagi anuntega avoma kre'za ahente'nazana, ama nera Jisasi'e. Jiu vahe'mokizmi kini nere hu'naze.
They set up over his head the accusation against him written, "THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS."
38 Anante ruga raga asopare kumzafa netrena rugeka zafare zanahe'za magoka hanti'naze.
Then there were two robbers crucified with him, one on his right hand and one on the left.
39 Hagi ana kante agatere'za vu'za e'za haza vahe'mo'za, azanva ke nehu'za zmagena ru'za,

Likewise the chief priests also mocking, with the scribes, and the elders, said,

44 Hagi tare kumzafa netre Agri'ene znahe'za hantinaza netremokea, ana zanke huke huhaviza hunte'na'e. (Sam-Zga 22:7-8.)
The robbers also who were crucified with him insulted him in the same way.

Now from noon until three in the afternoon there was darkness over all the land.

Then at about three in the afternoon Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lema shabachthani?" That is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
47 Anage hige'za anante mago'a oti'za mani'namo'za nentahiza, Ilaijanku ke nehie hu'naze.

The rest said, "Let him be. Let us see whether Elijah comes to save him."

and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.

Now the centurion, and those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God."

Command therefore that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest perhaps his disciples come and steal him away, and tell the people, 'He is risen from the dead;' and the last deception will be worse than the first."

So they went with the guard and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone.
