< Matiu 23 >
1 Jisasi'a anante ana vea kevugu'ene, amage nentaza disaipol nagaku anage hu'ne.
Then Jesus speaking to the crowds and to his disciples, said:
2 Kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene, Farisi vahe'mo'za, Mosesi kasege kemofonte nemanize.
“The teachers of the Law and the Pharisees now occupy the chair of Moses.
Therefore practice and lay to heart everything that they tell preach but do not practice.
4 Zamagra kna'nentake huno erisaga huama'a amuho hu'nea zantmi anakiza vahe zamafunte nentaze. Hu'neanagi zamagra zamazana ante'za zamazankonutira retufe zmage'sa nontahize.
While they make up heavy loads and pile them on other men’s shoulder’s they decline, themselves, to lift a finger to move them.
5 Ana mikazama nehzana vahe'mo'za zmagehogu zamagra ana nehaze. Na'ankure zamagra osi nunamu vogisifina mago'a mono kea kre vazite'za, zmazante'ene kokovite'ene anaki'za nofi arente arente zaza kukenare nehaze.
All their actions are done to attract attention. They widen their phylacteries, and increase the size of their tassels,

and like to have the place of honour at dinner, and the best seats in the Synagogues,
7 Hagi vahe'mo'za maketi kumapima humusema hunezmante'za, rempi huzami vahere'ma hu'za hanaza'zanku zmenesie.
and to be greeted in the markets with respect, and to be called ‘Rabbi’ for everybody.
8 Hu'neanagi tamagrikura rempi huzami vahere hu'za osiho. Na'ankure Rempi hurami'nera Magoke mani'negetma, tamagra ana miko'a kogna mani'naze.
But do not allow yourselves to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one Teacher, and you yourselves are all Brothers.
9 Hagi ama mopafina nenfa'e hunka mago'mofonkura osuo, na'ankure tamagrira Magoke Nafa'tmimo monafinka mani'ne.
And do not call any one on the earth your ‘Father,’ for your have only one Father, the heavenly Father.
10 Anazanke hutma kvatie hutma mago nekura osiho. Na'ankure magoke Kva tamia Kraisi mani'ne.
Nor must you allow yourselves to be called ‘Leaders,’ for you have only one Leader, the Christ.
11 Ugagotama tamagri'pima hu'nesnimo'a, tamagri eri'za ne' manino.
The man who would be the greatest among you must be your servant.
12 Iza'o agra'ama ante marerisimofona, azeri anteramigahie, iza'o agra'ama anterami'simofona, azeri antesga hugahie.
Whoever shall exalt himself will be humbled, and whoever shall humble himself will be exalted.
13 Hu'neanagi kva hiho, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene, Farisi vahe'mota, tamagi'ari hutma tavre vahe mani'naze. Mona kumapima vunaku haza vahera, tamagra kafa erigita ahenkani renezmantaze. Na'ankure tamagratamia unofretama zamatrage'za ufrenaku'ma haza vahera unofraze.
But alas for you, Teachers of the Law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You turn the key of the Kingdom of Heaven in men’s faces. For you do not go in yourselves, nor yet allow those who try to go in to do so.
14 [Kva hiho, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene, Farisi vahera tamagi'ari hutma tavre vahe mani'naze. Na'ankure tamagra kento a'nemokizmi havige hunezmanteta nozimine, maka zazimine rezmatga hutma kumzafa eri vaganereta, kefo zama nehaza zantami refitenaku za'za nunamu nehaze. E'i ana'ma nehazagu tusi'a kna erigahaze.]
Alas for you, Teachers of the Law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You destroy widow’s houses, even while pretending to make long prayers; therefore you shall receive greater condemnation.
15 Kva hiho, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene, Farisi vahera, tamagiri hutma tavre vahe mani'naze. Mago'mo agu'a akarahe hinogura, tamagra mopafina vanohutma, hagerina taka nehaze. Anama hutma mago'ma nevretma, anamofona tamagra mani'naza avamena ageteretma tarezupa tevemofo mofavre azerinesaze. (Geenna )
Alas for you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You scour land and sea to make a single convert, and, when he is gained, you make him twice as deserving of the Pit as you are yourselves. (Geenna )
16 Kva hiho, tamavu suhu kva vahera, tamagra anage nehaze, iza'o ra mono nonte hunteno huvempa haniana, amne zane! Hianagi inamo'o ra mono nompima me'nea golimofo agire'ma huvempa hanimo'a, agrama huvempama hunte'nea kere amage anteno.
Alas for you, you blind guides! You say ‘if any answer by the Temple, his oath counts for nothing; but, if any one swears by the gold of the Temple, his oath is binding him’!
17 Tamavu suhuno neginagi vahe mani'naze! Ina'nazamo tusi'a razana me'ne, goli mopi, hipi ra mono nomo'ma goliretima azeri ruotge hu'nea zamo'e?
Fools that you are and blind! Which is the more important? The gold? Or the Temple which has given sacredness to the gold?
18 Hianagi tamagra anage nehaze, iza'o kre sramnavu itamofonte hunteno, huvempa haniana amne'zane. Hianagi iza'o kre sramnavu itamofo agofetu me'nea ofare hunteno huvempama hanimo'a, huvempama hunte'nea ke'are amage anteno.
You say, too, ‘If any one swears by the altar, his oath counts for nothing, but, if any one swears by the offering placed on it, his oath is binding on him’!
19 Tamusuhu vahe mani'naze! Ina'nazamo razana me'ne, ofamopi, kre sramnavu itamo ofa azeri ruotgera nehio?
Blind indeed! Which is the more important? The offering? or the altar which gives sacredness to the offering?
20 E'ina hu'negu, iza'o kre sramnavu itamofonte huvempa hanimo'a, kre sramnavu itare me'neazanku'ene huvempa nehie.
Therefore a man, swearing by the altar, swears by it and by all that is on it,
21 Hagi iza'o ra mono nonte'ma huvempama himo'a, anampinkama nemania Anumzante ene huvempa nehie.
and a man, swearing by the Temple, swears by it and by him who dwells in it,
22 Iza'o monamofonte huvempa hanimo'a Anumzamofo traku'ene, anantema nemania Anumzanku huvempa nehie.
while a man, swearing by Heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him who sits upon it.
23 Kva hiho, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene Farisi vahera, tamagi'ari hutma tavre vahe mani'naze. Na'ankure tamagra migufa'ene, nasene, zonkofea ofa nentaze. Hianagi kasegefima ugagota hu'neazana, fatgo avu'ava huzanki, asunkuzane, ke amage ante'zana tamagena hu'nemize. Hianagi ama zantamine, mago'azama nehaza zane tamagena huomitma amne hugahaze.
Alas for you, Teachers of the Law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You pay tithes on mint, fennel, and caraway seed, and have neglected the weightier matters of the Law — justice, mercy, and good faith. These last you ought to have put into practice, without neglecting the first.
24 Tamagra tamuvusuhu kva nagare, havigafa kuko antetma azeri netraze, hianagi kemoli afura asagahu nevazize.
You blind guides, to strain out a gnat and to swallow a camel!
25 Kva hiho, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene, Farisi vahera, tamagi'ari hutma tavre vahe mani'naze. Na'ankure amega kapumofone, zuompamofona tamagra azeri avusese nehaze. Hianagi zamagu'afina kumzafa'sezane zamagraguke huzamo avitene.
Alas for you, Teachers of the Law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside they are filled with the results of greed and self-indulgence.
26 Tamavu asuhu Farisi vahekure, pusantera zuompane kapumofona agu'afi sesehugeno, amega avufamo'a anahu kna huno avusese hino.
You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the dish, so that the outside may become clean as well.
27 Kva hiho, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene, Farisi vahera, tamagi'ari hutma tavre vahe mani'naze. Na'ankure tamagra efeke paseteti vahe kerire frentageno amega kerimo'a avusese huno knare'za hiankna nehaze. Hianagi agu'afinka fri vahe'mokizmi zaferinamo'ene avusese osu'nea zantamimo avite'ne.
Alas for you, Teachers of the Law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You are like whitewashed tombs, which indeed look fair outside, while inside they are filled with dead men’s bones and all kinds of filth.
28 E'inahu kante amega'a vahe zamurera tamagra fatgo huta mani'none nehaze. Hianagi tamagu'afinka tavrema hu'zamo'ene tra kema amage'ma onte'zamo osu'zamo avite'ne.
It is the same with you. Outwardly, and to others, you have the look of religious men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and sin.
29 Kva hiho, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahe'ene, Farisi vahera, tamagi'ari hutma tavre vahe mani'naze, na'ankure tamagra kasnampa vahe'mokizimi keri tro nehutma, fatgo vahe'mokizmi keri konariri hunentaze.
Alas for you, Teachers of the Law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You build the tombs of the Prophets, and decorate the monuments of religious men,
30 Ana nehutma amanage huta nehaze, korapa tagehezane mani'nona sinifa, tagra anampina ufreta, zamagra'nena kasnampa vahe korana eri megira otro'sine nehaze.
and say ‘Had we been living in the days of our ancestors, we should have taken part in their murder of the Prophets!
31 Amanahu kema nehazana agafatami hufore hutma, tagra kasnampa vahe'ma zamahe fri'naza vahe'mokizmi zamagehete hutma nehaze.
By doing this you are furnishing evidence against yourselves that you are true children of the men who murdered the Prophets.
32 Tamagra nermageho'zama hunaza'zana huvagareho.
Fill up the measure of your ancestor’s guilt.
33 Tamagra osifave, tamagra ha' osifavemofo mofavre zage. Inankna hutma tevefima vugahaze huno huramante'neana maniganegahaze? (Geenna )
You serpents and brood of vipers! How can you escape being sentenced to the Pit? (Geenna )
34 E'ina hu'negu keho, Nagra kasnampa vahe'ene, antahi'zane vahe'ma, kasegere ugagota hu'naza vahezaga, huzmantoge'za neaze, mago'amokizimia zamahetma hantigahaze. Mago'amokizmia osi mono'nontamifi zamazeritma nofi knonu sefu nezamitma, rankumate kumate zamazeri haviza hutma vano hugahaze.
That is why I send you Prophets, wise men, and Teachers of the Law, some of whom you will crucify and kill, and some of whom you will scourge in your Synagogues, and persecute from town to town;
35 Ana'ma hanageno'a mika fatgo vahe ama mopafi zamahageno tagirami'nea koramo mofo kumimo'a tamagrite egahie. Fatgo ne' Eboli koranteti agafa huno Berekaia nemofo Zekaraiama, tamagrama ra mono none, kre sramanavu itamofo amu'nompima ahe fri'naza ne'mofo koramofo knazana tamagra erigahaze.
in order that upon your heads may fall every drop of innocent ‘blood split on earth,’ from the blood of innocent Abel down to that of Zechariah, Barachiah’s son, whom you murdered between the Temple and the altar.
36 Nagra tamage hu'na neramasmue. Amana knafi vahe'motmage', ama ana knazana erigahaze.
All this, I tell you, will come home to the present generation.
37 Jerusalemi vahere, Jerusalemi vahere. Kasnampa vahe zamahe nefritma, huzmantege'za tamagritega aza vahera have kanonu zamahe'naze. Nama'a kna mofavre'zagatamia kokoremo anenta'a zaga agekonanu zamazeri atru huno refite zamanteankna hunaku nehuanagi tamagria tamave'nosie.
Jerusalem! Jerusalem! She who slays the Prophets and stones the messengers sent to her — Oh, how often have I wished to gather your children round me, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not come!
38 Keho, tamagri ra mono nomo'a, vahera omanigeno megusa avu'ava hie.
Verily, your house is left to you desolate!
39 Na'ankure Nagra neramasmue, meninteti agafa hutma tamagra Nagrira onagetma manime nevuta anage hugahaze. Anumzamofo agifima e'nemofona asomu hunteno huta hugahaze.
For nevermore, I tell you, shall you see me, until you say — ‘Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!’”
