1 Hanki ese knazupa Sonta nanterana rumsa osu'nege'za, mananentake'zama tro hu'nazaza eri'za Jisasi afufga'ama havegampi ome ante'narega vu'naze.
But on the morrow of the sabbath, very early indeed in the morning, they came to the tomb, bringing the aromatic spices which they had prepared.
2 Hagi zamagrama vu'za ome kazana, ana havegante'ma runkanire'nea havea rezahe hutrenage'za ke'naze.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 Hianagi zamagrama havegampima ufre'za kazana, Ramofo Jisasi avufga omnenege'za ome ke'naze.
And when they had entered they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 Avufa'a nonke'za tusi zamagesa nentahizageno, masanentake huno efeke kukena hu'na'a netremoke ame hu'ne anante otinake'za,
And it came to pass as they were in perplexity about it, that behold, two men suddenly stood by them in shining raiment.
5 ana a'nemo'za zamagogogu nehu'za, kepri hu'za mani'nageno, ana netremoke anage hu'ne zamasami'na'e. Na'a higeta kasefa huno mani'nea vahekura, fri vahe kumapina nehakraze?
And as they were filled with fear and bowed their faces to the ground, they said to them, Why seek ye the living one among the dead?
6 Amafina Agra omanine, frinefintira ko oti'ne. Hanki tamagranema Galili mani'neno tamasami'nea kegu tamagesa antahiho.
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spoke to you, being yet in Galilee,
7 Vahe'mofo Mofavrea kumike vahe'mofo zamazampi avrentena, rugeka zafare ahesnageno friteno, tagufa kna manino otigahie, huno hu'nea kegu tamagesa antahiho,
saying, The Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinners, and be crucified, and rise the third day.
8 hu'ne nehake'za ana a'nemo'za Jisasi'ma hu'nea kegu zamagesa nentahi'za,
And they remembered his words;
9 ana havegana atre'za rukrehe hu'za vu'za, 11ni'a amagema nentaza naga'ane, ruga'amokizminena maka nanekea ome zamasmi vagare'naze.
and, returning from the sepulchre, related all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.
10 Hanki ana a'nemokizmi zamagi'a, Makdala kumateti' a' Mariaki, magora Joanaki, Jemisi nerera agi'a Maria ene, mago'a a'nemo'zane, ana nanekea aposolo nagara ome zmasami'naze.
Now it was Mary of Magdala, and Johanna, and Mary the [mother] of James, and the others with them, who told these things to the apostles.
11 Hianagi anankema nentahiza amne kehaze nehu'za, anankegura zamentinti osu'naze.
And their words appeared in their eyes as an idle tale, and they disbelieved them.
12 Hianagi Pita'a otino agareno vuno havegante ome kepri huno agu'afi keana, efeke tavravema ana kinte'naza tavravege me'negeno negeno, rukrahe huno anazanku tusiza huno agesa antahime vu'ne.
But Peter, rising up, ran to the sepulchre, and stooping down he sees the linen clothes lying there alone, and went away home, wondering at what had happened.
13 Ana zupage tare amagema nenta'a disaipol netremokea Emeus nehaza kumate vu'na'e. Ana kumateti Jerusalemi vanazana 11 kilomitanaza me'ne.
And behold, two of them were going on the same day to a village distant sixty stadia from Jerusalem, called Emmaus;
14 Zanagra maka'za fore'ma hu'nea zanku naneke hume nevakeno,
and they conversed with one another about all these things which had taken place.
15 Jisasi'a Agra'a ehanatige'za magoka ana netrene vu'naze.
And it came to pass as they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus himself drawing nigh, went with them;
16 Hianagi zanavurgamofona rehiza higene Jisasi'e huke ke anke orena'e.
but their eyes were holden so as not to know him.
17 Jisasi'a anage huno zanasami'ne, Na'anku ama nanekea tanagra hugantugma hutna nea'e? huno znantahigegene anante zanasunku nehuke uoti'na'e.
And he said to them, What discourses are these which pass between you as ye walk, and are downcast?
18 Hagi magomofo agi'a Kriopasi'e nehaza ne'mo ana kemofo nona'a huno, kagrake'za Jerusalemi nantu antenka ne-enka amagnafima fore hu'nea zana ontahi'nano?
And one [of them], named Cleopas, answering said to him, Thou sojournest alone in Jerusalem, and dost not know what has taken place in it in these days?
19 Jisasi'a anage huno zanasami'ne, Nanknaza fore hu'negeta neha'e? Higeno Nazareti Jisasinte'ma fore hu'nea zanku nehu'e. Agra kasnampa ne'kino, Anumzamofo avure'ene, maka vahe'mofo avurera, eri'zama'amo'ene keamo'enana hanavenentake hu'nea ne'ma,
And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazaraean, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
20 ugagota pristi vahe'mo'zane, kva vahetimo'zane ahesageno frisniegu, avarezamizage'za ahe'za keka zafare hantinaza ne'ku nehu'e.
and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to [the] judgment of death and crucified him.
21 Hianagi tagrama tagesa antahunana, Israeli vahe'mota knazantifinti tahoke ahesia nere huta nentahune. Tamage, ama anazama fore'ma hu'neana 3'a zagegna evu'ne.
But we had hoped that he was [the one] who is about to redeem Israel. But then, besides all these things, it is now, to-day, the third day since these things took place.
22 Hianagi tagripinti ana havegante nanterame ome ke'naza, a'nemo'za antri hu'na ke eme tasamiza,
And withal, certain women from amongst us astonished us, having been very early at the sepulchre,

and, not having found his body, came, saying that they also had seen a vision of angels, who say that he is living.
24 Hagi tagripinti mago'amo'za havegantega anaza ome kenaku vu'naze. Mika zanku'ma ana anemo'za hu'nazaza ome kazanagi, Jisasina onke'naze.
And some of those with us went to the sepulchre, and found it so, as the women also had said, but him they saw not.
25 Jisasi'a amanage huno zanasami'ne, Kasnampa vahe'mo'za hu'naza maka nanekegura negi nenetma tamagu'afina tamentintia nosaze!
And he said to them, O senseless and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
26 Kraisi'a ataza eriteno, masa'afi ufresiana, knarera osugahio? I'o.
Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into his glory?
27 Huteno anante agafa huno, Mosesinteti vuno maka kasnampa vahe'mo'zama, Agrikuma hu'za krente'naza kea eriama huno zanasamime vu'ne.
And having begun from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 Hagi zanagrama vunaku'ma hu'na'a kumate unehanatizageno, Jisasi'a ana kumara agatereno vaniaza hu'ne.
And they drew near to the village where they were going, and he made as though he would go farther.
29 Hianagi hanavetike agaterenka ovugahane huke zanagra nehuke, hani huza nehianki masetenka vanane hu'ne kazigazi hakeno, ana nompi zanagrane umareri'ne.
And they constrained him, saying, Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is declining. And he entered in to stay with them.
30 Jisasima nezama nenaku trate umanineno breti erino, Anumzamofo susu hunteteno, tamanasino agafa huno neznamigeno,
And it came to pass as he was at table with them, having taken the bread, he blessed, and having broken it, gave it to them.
31 zanavurgamo hari higeke Jisasi'e huke ke ankenerakeno, Jisasi'a ru fanane hu'ne.
And their eyes were opened, and they recognised him. And he disappeared from them.
32 Zanagra zanagra anage hu'na'e, kantegama neokenoma keagama nerasamino, Anumzamofo avontafepinti kema eriama nehigeno'a, tagu'amo'a otianagi, keta antahita osu'no'e.
And they said to one another, Was not our heart burning in us as he spoke to us on the way, [and] as he opened the scriptures to us?
33 Zanagra anage nehuke, ame huke rukrehe huke Jerusalemi kumate vu'na'e. Jisasima amage'ma nentaza 11ni'a disaipol naga'mo'zane, mago'a naga'moza'nena eri atru hu'nage'za ome nezmagake'za,
And rising up the same hour, they returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven, and those with them, gathered together,
34 Zamagra anage hu'naze, tamage Ramo'a otino, Saimoninte ufore hu'ne! Hu'za nehazageke,
saying, The Lord is indeed risen and has appeared to Simon.
35 ana amagema nenta'a disaipol netremoke kantega fore hu'neazane, breti erino tamanasino znamigeke, Jisasina ke ankerena'a agenke huama hu'na'e.
And they related what [had happened] on the way, and how he was made known to them in the breaking of bread.
36 Ana zanku'ma naneke nehazageno'a, Jisasi'a amu'nozimifi efore huno otineno anage hu'ne, Tamarimpa frune maniho.
And as they were saying these things, he himself stood in their midst, and says to them, Peace [be] unto you.
37 Hianagi zamagra havi avamu negone hu'za zamagesa nentahi'za, antri hu'za koro hu'naze.
But they, being confounded and being frightened, supposed they beheld a spirit.
38 Ana nehazageno Jisasi'a anage huno zmasamine. Nahigeta korera nehuta, tare tamagutmagesa nentahize?
And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why are thoughts rising in your hearts?
39 Ama Nagrani'a mani'noanki nagane, nazanena navako hutma keho. Na'ankure Nagrima hu'neaza huno, hankromofona avufgane zaferinanena omane'ne.
behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see, for a spirit has not flesh and bones as ye see me having.
40 Anagema huteno'a, agane, azane anamokizmi zameri hu'ne.
And having said this he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 Na'ankure zamagra tusi muse nehu'za, antri nehu'za zamentinti nosazageno, Jisasi'a anage hu'ne, Tamagra mago'a ne'zana ante'nazafi?
But while they yet did not believe for joy, and were wondering, he said to them, Have ye anything here to eat?
42 Zamagra kre hagege hunte'nea nozame eri amizageno,
And they gave him part of a broiled fish and of a honeycomb;
43 anamokizmi zamure erino nenege'za ke'naze.
and he took it and ate before them.
44 Jisasi'a anage huno zamasmi'ne, Nagra tamagrane mani'nena, anage hu'noe, maka kema Nagrikuma hu'za Mosese kasegefine, kasnampa vahe'mo'za krenaza kefine, zagame avontafepima krente'nea zamo'a nena'a fore hugahie.
And he said to them, These [are] the words which I spoke to you while I was yet with you, that all that is written concerning me in the law of Moses and prophets and psalms must be fulfilled.
45 Anante Jisasi'a zamaza huno antahintahizmia zamazeri ama hige'za, maka Anumzamofo avontafepima krente'nea kea antahini hu'naze.
Then he opened their understanding to understand the scriptures,
46 Agra anage huno zamasami'ne, Avontafepina amanage huno krente'ne, Kraisina ahesageno ata erino friteno, tagufa knare otigahie.
and said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved the Christ to suffer, and to rise from among the dead the third day;
47 Vahe'mo'za Agri agifi, zamagu'a rukrahe hanageno, Anumzamo'a kefozazimi eritrezamantesia kea, Jerusalemi kumate erigafa hute'za, mika kokankoka vahete vugahaze.
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations beginning at Jerusalem.
48 Tamagra Nagritema fore higetma ke'naza zana huama hugahaze.
And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 Hanki antahiho, Nafa'nimo huvempa huno tamigahue hu'nemofona, huntesugeno tamagrite egahie. Hu'neanagi tamagra (Jerusalemi) rankumapi manineta monafinti hanavea eriteta vuta eta hiho.
And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but do ye remain in the city till ye be clothed with power from on high.
50 Jisasi'a anage huteno zamavareno Betani vuno azana erisaga hunagamuteno, asomu ke huzmante'ne.
And he led them out as far as Bethany, and having lifted up his hands, he blessed them.
51 Anama hunezmantegeno, Anumzamo'a avregeno zmatreno monafi mareri'ne.
And it came to pass as he was blessing them, he was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.
52 Zamagra mono huntete'za, tusi musenkase hume Jerusalemi kumate ete vu'naze.
And they, having done him homage, returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
53 Ana hute'za ra mono nompi mareri'za Anumzamofo agi erisaga huvava hu'naze.
and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God.
