3 Mose 21

1 Ra Anumzamo'a Mosesena amanage huno asmi'ne, Pristi ne' Aroni mofavre nagara amanage hunka zamasamio, pristi vahe'mo'a vahe'afima mago vahe'ma frisigeno'a, vahe'ma frige'za nehaza zana hu'za zamagra'a zamazeri pehana osiho.

The Lord told Moses, “Tell Aaron's sons, the priests: A priest is not to make himself unclean by touching the dead body of any of his relatives.

2 Hagi nerera'o nefa'o ne' mofavre'o mofa'amo'o afu agana'o,

The only exceptions are for his immediate family. This includes his mother, father, son, daughter, or brother,

3 ve e'orino vene omasenesia nesaroma agranema nemanisigeno amema rentinti huno nemanisimo'ma frisigeno'a, amane ana avu'avara avaririgahie.

or his unmarried sister since she is a close relative because she doesn't have a husband.

4 Hagi a'amofo kazigati vahe'ma fri'na ana avu'avara huno agra'a azeri havizana osino.

He must not make himself unclean for those only related to him by marriage—he is not to make himself ceremonially impure.

5 Hagi pristi vahe'mo'za zmasunkura hu'za zamaseni zamazokara oharege, zamagi zamazokara oharege, zamavufaga taga osugahaze.

Priests are not to shave bald spots on their heads, trim the sides of their beards, or cut their bodies.

6 Anumzamo'na nagi'a tamagra eri havizana osuta, mani ruotage huta maniho. Na'ankure tamagra Anumzamo'na ne'zana tevefi ofa kresramna vugahaze.

They must be holy to their God and not disgrace their God's reputation. They are the one who present the food offerings to the Lord, the food of their God. Consequently they must be holy.

7 Hagi pristi vahe'mo'za savri huno vanoma nehania a'neo, vema atre'nenia ara e'oriho. Na'ankure pristi vahe'mo'za Anumzamofo avurera ruotage hu'naze.

A priest is not to marry a woman made unclean through prostitution or who is divorced by her husband, for the priest must be holy to his God.

8 Tamagra pristi vahera Anumzamofo vahere hutma zamazeri ruotage hiho, na'ankure zamagra Anumzamofo ne'za ofa hu vaheki, mani ruotage hu'za maniho. Nagra Ra Anumzamo'na ruotage hu'nogu, mani ruotage hutma maniho.

You shall consider him holy because he presents the food offerings to your God. He shall be holy to you, because I am holy. I am the Lord, and I chose you as my special people.

9 Anahukna huno mago pristi vahe'mofo mofa'mo'ma savri avu'ava huno'ma vanoma haniana, nefana azeri agaze hugahianki, azerita tevefi krefanane hiho.

A priest's daughter who makes herself unclean through prostitution makes her father unclean. She must be executed by burning.

10 Hagi mago'a pristi vahetaminte'ma ugagota hu'nesia pristi ne'ma asenifi masave taginte'za azeri ruotage hanageno, za'za pristi kukenama hu'nesia pristi ne'mo'a fri'nesia vahetera za'za kukena'a tagatora osuno azokara ohareno.

The high priest has the highest place among the other priests. He has been anointed with olive oil poured on his head and has been ordained to wear the priestly clothing. He must not leave his hair uncombed or tear his clothes.

11 Hagi Agra'a azeri haviza hugahianki, fri vahe tava'ontera ovino. Nerera'o nefa'enena frisakeno'a ovutfa huge,

He is not to go near any dead body. He must not make himself unclean, even it is for his own father or mother.

12 ruotge'ma hu'nea kumara atreno ovino, na'ankure Anumza ma'amofo huhamprinteno masaventeti asenirera frenteno huhampri ante'ne. Nagra Ra Anumzamo'na nehue.

He must not leave to deal with someone who has died or make the sanctuary of his God unclean because he has been dedicated by the anointing oil of his God. I am the Lord.

13 Vugota pristi vahe'mo'a venema omasenenia mofa ara erigahie.

He can only marry a virgin.

14 Hagi pristi vahe'mo'a kento aro, ve atre'nesia aro, savri avu'ava nehania ara, ara e'orino pristi nagapinti vene ovase'nesia mofa ara erigahie.

He must not marry a widow, a divorced woman, or one made unclean through prostitution. He has to marry a virgin from his own people,

15 E'ina'ma hanuno'a agripinti'ma efore hu anante anante'ma hu'za esaza vahera zamazeri havizana osugahie. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'na azeri ruotage hu'noe.

so that he doesn't make his children unclean among his people, for I am the Lord who makes him holy.”

16 Ra Anumzamo'a Mosesena amanage huno asmi'ne,

The Lord told Moses,

17 Aronina asamio, agripintima forehu anante anante hanaza vahepinti'ma zamavufagamo knare'ma osu'nesia vahe'mo'a Anumzamofo ne'zana ofa kresramna ovugahie hunka asamio.

“Tell Aaron: These rules apply for all future generations. If any of your descendants has a physical defect, he is not allowed to come and present the food offerings of his God.

No man is allowed to do this if he has any defects, including anyone who is blind, crippled, facially disfigured, or has deformities,

19 agamo'o azamo'ma fri'nenia vahero,

anyone who has a broken foot or arm,

20 amage'na fagagi vahero, atupa vahero, avu havizahu vahero, namunke namanke vahero, agonknazamo haviza hu'nesia vahero, zmatrenke'za pristi eri'zana e'oriho.

anyone who is a hunchback or dwarf, or who has cataracts, skin sores or scabs, or a damaged testicle.

21 Hagi Aroni nagapinti fore hu'nesamoza zamavufagamo havizama hu'nesigeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'narera tevefina kresramna eme vuonanteho. Na'ankure agra avufgamo'a haviza hu'neankino, Ra Anumzamo'narera ofa eme osugahie.

No descendant of Aaron the priest who has a defect is allowed to come and present the food offerings to the Lord. Because he has a defect, he must not come and offer the food of his God.

22 Hagi ana vahe'mo'za ruotage huno ruotage'tfama hu'nea ne'zane, ruotage'ma hu'nenia ne'zanema Ra Anumzamonare'ma eri'za esazana amane negahaze.

He is still allowed to eat the food from the Most Holy Place of his God and also from the sanctuary,

but because he has a defect, he is not allowed to go near the curtain or the altar, so that my sanctuary and everything in it are not made unclean, because I am the Lord who makes them holy.”

24 Mosese'a ana mika nanekea Aronine mofavre naga'ane, miko vahe'enena zamasmi'ne.

Moses repeated this to Aaron and his sons, and to all the Israelites.
