1 Ra Anumzamoka menima tagrite'ma fore'ma nehia knazamo'ma tazeri havizama nehigetama tusi'a tagazema e'nerunana neragenka antahiramio.
Remember, O Lord, what has happened to us: behold, and look on our reproach.
2 Onke'nona vahe'mo'za e'za tagri mopa eme enerizage'za, ru moparegati vahe'mo'za e'za tagri nontamina emeri nafa'a hu'za mani'naze.
Our inheritance has been turned away to aliens, our houses to strangers:
3 Tafahe'za omani megusa mofavregna huta tagra nemanunke'za, trerahe'za kento a'nanegna hu'za mani'naze.
we are become orphans, we have no father, our mothers are as widows.
4 Tima nenompi, tevema enerunana zagoretike'za mizaseta eri'none.
We have drunk our water for money; our wood is sold to us [for a burden] on our neck:
5 Ha' vahetimo'za rama'a zampi tazeri haviza huvava nehazageta mani fru huta omani'none.
we have been persecuted, we have laboured, we have had no rest.
6 Tagri'ma ne'zama tamisnageta nesunku huta Isipi vahe'ene, Asiria vahe'mokizmi zmagorga mani'none.
Egypt gave the hand [to us], Assur to their own satisfaction.
7 Tagri tagehe'za kumi hute'za ko fri'za menina omani'naze. Ana hu'nazageta menina zamagri kumi'mofo knazama'a e'nerune.
Our fathers sinned, [and] are not: we have borne their iniquities.
8 Tagrira kazokzo eri'za vahe'mo'za kegava hurantazageta mani'nonkeno, mago vahe'mo'e huno ana vahe'mokizmi hankavefintira tagura vazino taza osu'ne.
Servants have ruled over us: there is none to ransom [us] out of their hand.
9 Hagi nezanku'ma vuta eta huta hakeku'ma hunana, ka'ma kokampina ha' vahe'mo'za bainati kazinteti tahe frinaku kafonte'za mani'naze.
We shall bring in our bread with [danger of] our lives, because of the sword of the wilderness.
10 Tusi taga'matea zamo higeno, tavufgamo'a sikonima negraza avenimo'ma teve ha'ma hiaza huno tusi amuho hu'ne.
Our skin is blackened like an oven; they are convulsed, because of the storms of famine.
11 Saioni kumapi a'nanea zamagra zamazeri haviza nehu'za, Juda mopafima me'nea ranra kumatamimpima nemaniza vene omase mofa'nea ha' vahe'mo'za eme zamazeri haviza hu'naze.
They humbled the women in Sion, the virgins in the cities of Juda.
12 Kva vahetia zamazeri'za zamazante nofi anakite'za, zafare hanti'naze. Ana nehu'za ranra vahetia so'e avu'ava zana hunozmante'za, zamazeri zamagaze hu'naze.
Princes were hanged up by their hands: the elders were not honored.
13 Hagi nehazave nagara huzmantazage'za witima refuzafunepaza have rezahe nehazage'za, mofavre nagatia tusinasi teverami hare'za kofizmantazage'za, knazamigu nehu'za eri'naze.
The chosen men lifted up [the voice in] weeping, and the youths fainted under the wood.
14 Ranra vahetamimo'za kuma kafante'ma nemaniza zana atre'za nevazage'za, nahezave naga'mo'za zavena ahe'za zagamera osu'naze.
And the elders ceased from the gate, the chosen men ceased from their music.
15 Muse zagame'ma nehuta avoma nehagona zana atreta, zavi zagame nehuta tasuzampi mani'none.
The joy of our heart has ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
16 Rantagima e'neruna zamo'ma, tasenire'ma kini fetorikna'ma hu'nea zamo'a mopafi evuramigeta, tasuzampi mani'none. Anama hu'neana tagrama hu'nona kumi'mo higeno anara hu'ne!
The crown has fallen [from] our head: yes, woe to us! for we have sinned.
17 Anazama fore'ma nehigeno'a, tarimpamo'a havizantfa nehigeno, zavi'ma atonazamo higeno tavumipamo'a evuno hanintiri higeta, tavua keso'e osu'none.
For this has grief come; our heart is sorrowful: for this our eyes are darkened.
18 Saioni ran kumapina vahera omanino atreno vuno eno higeno, ka'ma koka fore higeno anampina afi kraramimozage mani'neza vano hu'naze.
Over the mountain of Sion, because it is made desolate, foxes have walked therein.
19 Hianagi Ra Anumzamoka kagrake kinia mani'nenka, henkama fore hu anante nante'ma hu'za vanaza vahetera manivava hunka vugahane.
But you, O Lord, shall dwell for ever; your throne [shall endure] to generation and generation.
20 Ra Anumzamoka na'a hu'negenka za'zatera kamefira huneraminka antahi noramine?
Therefore will you utterly forget us, and abandon us a long time?

Turn us, O Lord, to you, and we shall be turned; and renew our days as before.
22 Hifi tagrira tusi karimpa herantenka kamefi huneraminka, kavesra hurante vaganerampi?
For you have indeed rejected us; you have been very angry against us.
