< Lementesen-Zavi Krafa 3 >
1 Ra Anumzamo'a arimpa ahenanteno, knaza namino nazeri haviza hige'na, tusi natama kria zana nagra ke'noe.
I am the man who hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
2 Ana nehuno narotago higena, hanimpi tavira omane'nea kante vu'noe.
Me hath he driven out, and led into darkness, but not into light.
3 Tamagerfa huno maka zupa nagrike'za nazeri haviza huvava huno nevuno, mago'a vahera anara osu'ne.
Surely against me doth he turn again and again his hand all the day.
4 Ama navufga nazeri navesra nehuno, navufga nazeri haviza nehuno zaferinani'aramina ruhantagi'ne.
He hath caused my flesh and my skin to wear out, he hath broken my bones.
5 Knaza atregeno eno eme nazeri kanegigeno, hazenke zamo'a maka kaziga nazeri kagi'ne.
He hath built around me, and encompassed me with poison and hardship.
6 Korapa'ma fri'za vu'naza vahe'mo'zama hanimpima mani'nazaza huno, natrege'na hanimpi mani'noe.
In dark places hath he set me to dwell, like the dead of olden times.
7 Tusi'a vihu kegina huno nazeri agu'atege'na, anampintira atre'na atiorami'noe. Ana nehuno seni nofiteti nagia nazampina kinarente'ne.
He hath placed a fence round about me, that I cannot get out; he hath made heavy my chain.
8 Nazama hinogu'ma Anumzamofontega nunamuna hu'na antahige'noanagi, krafa keni'a eri atre'ne.
Also when I cry aloud and make entreaty, he shutteth out my prayer.
9 Kama vunaku'ma hua kampina Anumzamo'a ra have ome anteno rehiza nehuno, vunaku'ma huankana eri kazakinkazoko hige'na haviza hu'nea kante vu'noe.
He hath fenced up my ways with hewn stone, my paths hath he made crooked.
10 Beamo'o laionimo'o afi zaga azerinaku kafo anteno maniaza huno, Ra Anumzamo'a nazeri haviza hunaku kafonteno mani'neno,
A bear lying in wait is he to me, a lion in secret places.

On my ways hath he placed thorns, and torn me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
12 Anumzamo'a keve'a atifi erinteteno, avazuhu krarapeno nahenaku krinkenke hu'ne.
He hath bent his bow, and placed me as a mark for the arrow.
13 Ana huteno keve'areti tumoni'a ahetane'ne.
He hath caused to enter into my reins the children of his quiver.
14 Maka nagri vahe'mo'zama nenage'za tusi nagiza re'naze. Ana nehu'za amnea omani'za maka zupa zagame nehu'za ana zagamepi kiza zokago ke hunante vava hu'naze.
I am become a laughing-stock to all my people, their [jeering] song all the day.
15 Rama'a knazanteti nagu'afina antevi'neteno, aka trazanteti tro hu'naza ti namige'na ne'noe.
He hath sated me with bitter things, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.
16 Anumzamo'a ne'onse haverami nagipina eri hatrentege'na navera ani futagi'noe. Ana nehugeno kugusopa hatreno nagofetu ante'ne.
He hath also broken my teeth with gravel-stones, he hath covered me with ashes.
17 Arimpa fruma huno mani'zana nomanizanifina omanegeno, knare huno musema huno mani'zankura nagekani'noe.
And my soul hath given up all thoughts of peace: I forget happiness.
18 Ana hige'na amanage hu'noe, hanaveni'a omanegeno, Ra Anumzamofonkuma amuhama nehuazana huonantegahie hu'na antahi'noe.
And I said, Lost is my strength, my expectation also from the Lord.
19 Hagi nagrama ranknazama eri'noa zamo'ene vahe moparegama kraga vahe kna'ma hu'na vano vanoma hu'noa zamo'enena, mago aka tima neazama hu'noa zana nagera okani'ne.
Remembering my affliction and [the cause of] my complaint, wormwood and poison.
20 Maka zupa ana zanku'ma nagesa nentahugeno'a, nagu'amo'a kna nehigeno havizantfa hu'ne.
Remembering [this] continually my soul is bowed down deeply within me.
21 E'ina hu'neanagi mago zanku nagesa nentahi'na, amuhara nehue.
[Yet] this answer will I give to my heart: therefore will I wait [in confidence].
22 Ra Anumzamo'ma avesiranteno knare'ma hunerantea avesi'zamo'a, tamagerfa huno vagaore mevava nehie. Na'ankure agri asunkuzamo'a vagaore meno nevie.
It is through the Lord's kindness that we are not consumed, because his mercies have no end;

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 Nagra'ma nagesa antahuana, Agra nagri Ra Anumza mani'negu nagra Agriteke amuhara huntegahue.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I wait for him.
25 Ra Anumzamo'a agrite'ma amuha'ma nehu'za, zamagu'areti'ma hu'za agriku'ma nehakaza vahera zamazeri knare nehie.
The Lord is good unto those that hope in him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26 Akoheno avega anteno mani'nenigeno Ra Anumzamo'ma ete agu'vazino avre avu'ava zamo'a knare hu'ne.
It is good that one should wait and this in silence for the salvation of the Lord.
27 Nahezavema mani'nesire'ma knazama eri'zamo'a, e'i knare hu'ne.
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth;
28 Ra Anumzamo'ma mago vahe'ma knazama neminigeno'a, anazankura keaga osu agraku akoheno manino.
That he sit in solitude and be silent; because He hath laid it upon him;
29 Anama nehanigeno keaga osu agra avufgama anteramino kugusopafima mani'nesigeno, negeno azama hunaku'ma hanuno'a aza hugahie.
That he put his mouth in the dust; perhaps there still is hope;

That he offer his cheek to him that smiteth him; that he be satisfied with reproach.
31 Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a mago vahera amagena humi vava huno ovugahie.
For the Lord will not cast off for ever;
32 Ra Anumzamo'a vahera knazana amigahianagi, Agra vaga ore mevava avesi zama'agu nentahino, avesinezmanteno knare avu'ava hunezmante.
But though he have caused grief, yet will he have mercy according to the abundance of his kindnesses.
33 Ra Anumzamo'ma knazama atregeno eno vahe'ma zamazeri havizama nehiana, Agra'a anaza hunakura nosie.
For he doth not afflict of his own will, and aggrieve the children of men.
34 Hanki vahe'mo'zama kina vahe'ma zamazeri havizama huge,
To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,
35 mago vahe'mo'ma Marerisa Anumzamofo avure'ma fatgo avu'ava'ma nehanigeno'ma, haviza hane huno'ma huntege,
To pervert the justice [due to man] before the face of the Most High.
36 keagare'ma oti zupama havige hu'za zamazeri havizama nehaza avu'ava zanku'enena Ra Anumzamo'a ave'nosie.
To subvert a man in his contest—should the Lord not see this?
37 Ra Anumzamo'ma osu'nenia nanekerera, iza agra'a avesitera mago zana eri forera hugahie?
Who is he that saith aught, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord hath not ordained it?
38 Ra Anumzana Marerisa Anumzamo'a Agra agipinti huama huno, knare zane havi zanena forera huo huno higeno forera nehie.
Do not out of the mouth of the Most High come both the evil things and the good?
39 Ofri kasefa'ma huno mani'nesnia vahe'mo'a, agri kumi'mofo nonama huno azeri havizama hania zankura ke hakarea osino.
Wherefore should a living man complain? let every man complain because of his sins.
40 Hagi tagrama nehuna tavutavara rezaganeta ke so'e huteta, ana tavutva zampintira ete rukrahe huta Ra Anumzamofontega esanune.
Let us search through and investigate our ways, and let us return to the Lord.
41 Hanki tagu'areti huta tazana erisga nehuta, monafinkama mani'nea Anumzamofontega amanage huta nunamuna hugahune,
Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

We have indeed transgressed and rebelled: thou hast truly not pardoned.
43 Kagrira karimpa ahe'zamo'a avitegenka, kasunkura hunka oratrenka tavaririnka tahe fri'nane.
Thou hast covered [us] with thy anger, and made pursuit after us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.
44 Kagrira tusi hampomo refitegenka mani'nanketa, nunamuna hu'nonanagi tagri nunamumo'a kagritera ovu'ne.
Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that no prayer should pass through.

As something loathsome and rejected hast thou rendered us in the midst of the people.

47 Anama hazageta koro hu'none. Na'ankure tagesa ontahuna hazenke zamo eme tazeri havizantfa hu'ne.
Terror and a snare are come upon us, [with] desolation and breaches.

50 Ana zavira ontagane ate vava nehanugeno, Ra Anumzamo'a monafinti kefenka ateno nagegahie.

They have shut up in the dungeon my life, and have cast stones upon me.

Waters streamed over my head: I said, I am cut off.
55 Ana kerifima mani'nofintira Ra Anumzamoka kagra naza huogu kagri kagia ahe'na nunamuna nehue.
I called on thy name, O Lord, out of the dungeon of the lowest depth.

Thou didst plead, O Lord, the causes of my soul: thou didst [before this] redeem my life.

64 Ra Anumzamoka ana vahe'mo'zama hu'naza havi zamavu'zamava negenka, mizana zamitere hugahane.
Render unto them a recompense, O Lord, according to the work of their hands.

Pursue them in anger and destroy from under the heavens of the Lord.
