< Jasi Vahere 3 >
1 Hagi ko'ma Kenani mopafima ha'ma hu'naza zama onke'naza Israeli vahetmima rezamaheno kenaku, Ra Anumzamo'a mago'a vahera zamatrege'za Kenani mopafina mani'naze.
Now these are the nations which Jehovah left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;
2 Hagi Israeli vahe'ma efore hutere hu'za henkama esaza vahetami Ra Anumzamo'a ha'ma hanaza avu'avaza rempi huzaminaku Kenani mopafi vahera zamahenatitre vagaore'ne.
only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing of it:
3 Ama'na kumatmimpi nemaniza vahetami zamatrege'za mani'naze. Faifu'a kumapima nemani'za Filistia vaheki, maka Kenani vaheki, Saidoni vaheki, Hivi vahe'ma Lebanoni agonamofoma Bal-Hermoniti'ma vuno Hamat kumate'ma uhanati'nea vahe'mokizmi ozamahe zamatrege'za mani'naze.
namely, the five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites who lived on Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal Hermon to Lebo Hamath.
4 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'ma Mosesema ami'nea kasegea avaririgahazafi ovaririgosazafi huno Israeli vahe'ma rezamaheno kesigu Ra Anumzamo'a ana vahera zamatrege'za mani'naze.
They were left, to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would listen to the commandments of Jehovah, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.
5 E'ina hazageno Kenani vahe'ene, Hiti vahe'ene, Amori vahe'ene, Perisi vahe'ene Hivi vahe'ene, Jebusi vahe'mokizmi amu'nompi Israeli vahera mani'naze.
The children of Israel lived among the Canaanites, the Hethites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
6 Ana'ma nehu'za Israeli vahe'mo'za zamagri mofa'ne ara e'neri'za, ete zamagra mofa'nea zamatrazage'za zamagri mofavreramintera vea omeneri'za unemrazageno, havi anumzazmirera monora ome hunte'naze.
and they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their own daughters to their sons and served their gods.
7 Israeli vahe'mo'za Ra Anumzamofo avufina kefo zamavu'zmava nehu'za, Ra Anumzamofona zamagekani nente'za, Bali havi anumzante'ene Asera havi anumzamofo amema'are monora hunte'naze.
The children of Israel did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and forgot Jehovah their God, and served the Baals and the Asheroth.
8 E'ina hazageno Ra Anumzamo'a Israeli vahe'tminkura tusi arimpa ahezamanteno Mesopotemia Kini ne' Kusan-risataimi azampi zamavarentegeno ha' eme huzamanteno zamazeri haviza nehuno, zamavareno kina ome huzmantege'za 8'a zagegafufi Kusan-risataimi kazokzo eri'za vahe umani'naze.
Therefore the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Cushan Rishathaim king of Aram Naharaim; and the children of Israel served Cushan Rishathaim eight years.
9 Hianagi Israeli vahe'mo'za Ra Anumzamofontega zamazama hinogura krafa hazageno, Ra Anumzamo'a zamazama hu' nera, Kalepi negana Kenazi ne'mofo, Otnielina azeri oti'ne.
When the children of Israel cried to Jehovah, Jehovah raised up a savior to the children of Israel, who saved them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother; and he obeyed him.
10 Ra Anumzamofo Avamumo'a agri'ene emani'negeno, Israeli vahe'mokizmi keaga refko hu kva vahera mani'ne. Hagi Otnieli'ma Mesopotemia vahe'ene ha' ome nehigeno, Ra Anumzamo'a kini ne' Kusan-risataimina azampi avrentegeno aheno hara azeri agatere'ne.
The Spirit of Jehovah came on him, and he judged Israel; and he went out to war, and Jehovah delivered Cushan Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand: and his hand prevailed against Cushan Rishathaim.
11 Ana higeno 40'a kafufina ha'huzana omanege'za, fru hu'za Israeli vahe'mo'za mani'nazageno, Kenazi ne'mofo Otnieli'a fri'ne.
The land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.
12 Ete mago'ene Israeli vahe'mo'za Ra Anumzamofo avufina kefo avu'avara hazageno, Ra Anumzamo'a Moapu kini ne' Eklonina hankavea amigeno Israeli vahera hara eme huzmagatereno kegava huzmante'ne. Na'ankure zamagra Ra Anumzamofo avufina kefo zamavu'zamava hu'naze.
The children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah: and Jehovah strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah.
13 Hagi Ekloni'a Amoni vahe'ene Ameleki vahe'enena kehige'za azageno Israeli vahera hara ome huzamante'za tofegna zafamoke hu'nea Jeriko rankuma zamahe'za hanare'naze.
He gathered to him the people of Ammon and Amalek; and he went and struck Israel, and they possessed the city of palm trees.
14 Hagi ana hazageno Israeli vahe'mo'za 18ni'a kafuzagefi Moapu kini ne' Ekloni kazokzo eri'za vahera mani'naze.
The children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.
15 Hianagi Israeli vahe'mo'zama Ra Anumzamofontegama zamaza hinogu'ma krafagema hazageno'a, ha' vahe zamazampinti'ma zamazama hu' nera Benzameni nagapinti Gera nemofo hoga azane ne' Ehuti azeri oti'ne. But when the children of Israel cried to Jehovah, Jehovah raised them up a savior, Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a man left-handed. The children of Israel sent tribute by him to Eglon the king of Moab.
16 Ana higeno Ehuti'a tarega kaziga asane bainati kazina zaza'amo'a 50'a sentemita hu'nea tro huno tamaga kaziga amote anakiteno za'za ke'na'a antanino refite'ne.
Ehud made him a sword which had two edges, eighteen inches in length; and he girded it under his clothing on his right thigh.
17 Hagi Ekloni'a ra avufgane ne' mani'neankino, Ehuti'a ana takesi zagone maka zantamina erino Eglonina ome ami'ne.
He offered the tribute to Eglon king of Moab: now Eglon was a very fat man.
18 Hagi ana takesi zantamima amiteno'a, ana zantamima azama hu'za eri'za vu'naza vahera eme huzamantege'za vu'naze.
When he had made an end of offering the tribute, he sent away the people who bore the tribute.
19 Hianagi Ehuti'a Gilgali tavaonte'ma havi anumzama tro'ma hunte'nazareti ete rukrehe huno Ekloninte eno amanage hu'ne, Ekloniga oku'a nanekeka'a erigante'na oe, higeno Ekloni'a eri'za vahe'agura huno, amafintira maka atiramiho, hige'za maka eri'za vahe'amo'za atirami vagare'naze.
But he himself turned back from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, "I have a secret message for you, O king." The king said, "Keep silence." All who stood by him went out from him.
20 Hagi Eglonima zasi'ma e'neria noma'afi agrake'ma manigeno'a, Ehuti'a amanage hu'ne, Anumzamofontegati oku nanekeka'a eri'na e'noe. Anage higeno tra'aretira oti'ne.
Ehud came to him; and he was sitting by himself alone in the cool upper room. Ehud said, "I have a message from God to you, O king." He arose out of his seat.
21 Hagi Ehuti'a tarega kazigama asane bainati kazima tamaga kaziga amote'ma anakinte'nea kazina avazu huno, Ekloni rimpa reragufe'ne.
And it happened as he rose up that Ehud put forth his left hand and took the sword from his right thigh and thrust it into his belly.
22 Ana bainati kazimofo nena'amo'ene asana'amo'enena Eglonina rimpafi ufresupanegeno afovamo'a herafiramino bainati kazina refite'ne.
And the handle also went in after the blade; and the fat closed on the blade, for he didn't draw the sword out of his belly; and it came out behind.
23 Ehuti'a ana kazina eriokasi Ekloni avufgafi me'negeno netreno, agu'ati kafana erinegino, marerino nomofo agofetu'ma zasi'ma e'nerizareti takaureno fre'ne.
Then Ehud went forth into the porch, and shut the doors of the upper room on him, and locked them.
24 Ehuti'ma vutegeno'a, Ekloni eri'za vahe'mo'za eme kazana anaga kaziga nomofo kafana erigi'negeno, zamagesama antahi'zana agu'afinka rifa nereno mani'ne hu'za hu'naze.
Now when he was gone out, his servants came; and they saw, and look, the doors of the upper room were locked; and they said, "Surely he is covering his feet in the upper room."
25 Anage hu'za nentahiza kafante avega ante'naze. Hianagi kafana ame huno onagige'za kafante kinofira eri'za ana kafana anagi'za kazana, kvazmimo'a frino mopafi mase'nege'za ke'naze.
They waited until they were ashamed; and look, he did not open the doors of the upper room: therefore they took the key, and opened them, and look, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth.
26 Hagi kini ne' eri'za vahe'mo'zama kafante avega ante'za mani'nazageno, Ehuti'a freno havere taga hu'za trohunte'naza havi anumzamofo amema'a me'nea kumara agatereno Seira vu'ne.
Ehud escaped while they waited, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped to Seirah.
27 Hagi ana'ma huteno'a Israeli vahe'mofo mopafima ufreno Efraemi agonafima nevuno'a, ufe rege'za Israeli vahe'mo'za nentahi'za eme atru hazageno, ha' hunaku zamavareno ugota huno agra urami'ne.
It happened, when he had come, that he blew a trumpet in the hill country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel went down with him from the hill country, and he before them.
28 Anama uneramino'a amanage huno hu'ne, navaririta viho, na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a ha' vahetamia Moapu vahera tamagri tamazampi avrente'neankita zamahegahaze. Anage hige'za Israel vahe'mo'za Ehutina avariri'za Jodani tima takama nehazare Moapu vahe'enena hara ome hu'za magore hu'za ozamatre zamahehana hu'naze.
He said to them, "Follow after me; for Jehovah has delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand." They went down after him, and took the fords of the Jordan against the Moabites, and did not allow a man to pass over.
29 Ana hapina Moapu hankavenentake ha' vahe'tmina Israeli vahe'mo'za 10tauseni'a vahe zamahehna nehu'za zamatrage'za ofre'naze.
They struck of Moab at that time about ten thousand men, every lusty man, and every man of valor; and there escaped not a man.
30 E'ina hu'za Israeli vahe'mo'za Moapu vahera, zamahe vagarazageno 80'a kafufina hahu'zana omanege'za, Israeli vahe'mo'za knare hu'za mani'naze.
So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. Then the land had rest eighty years. And Ehud judged them until he died.
31 Ehuti amefira Anati nemofo Samgari efore huno bulimakao afu reneharia ronku hu'nea azotareti 600'a Filistia vahera zamahe hana huno Israeli vahera zamagu'vazi'ne.
And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who alone struck down six hundred men of the Philistines with an oxgoad. And he also saved Israel.
