< Zosua 3 >
1 Hagi Sitimima mani'nazaretira Josua'ene maka Israeli vahe'mo'za nanterame oti'za Jodani tinte e'za, seli nonkuma eme ante'za mani'naze.
So then Joshua rose early in the morning, and they brake up from The Acacias and came as far as the Jordan, he and all the sons of Israel, —and they lodged there before they passed over.
2 Anante tagufa zage kna evutegeno, kva vahe'mo'za kuma'ma ante'za mani'nafi vano nehu'za,
And it came to pass, after three days, that the officers went through the midst of the camp,

and commanded the people saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God, and, the priests the Levites, bearing it, ye also, shall break up out of your place, and come after it.
4 E'ina nehutma kama vanaza kana keso'e hiho. Na'ankure omenare kasefa kante neaze. Hianagi tamagra huhagerafi huvempage vogisimofo tavaontera ovutma, 1kilomita naza kankamu amitama, afete eho.
Yet shall there be, a distance, between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure, —do not come near unto it that ye may get to know the way by which ye must go, for ye have not passed this way, heretofore.
5 Anante Josua'a Israeli vahera amanage huno zamasami'ne, tamagra'a tamazeri agru hiho. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a tamagri amu'nompi ruzahu kaguvaza okina erifore hugahie.
Then said Joshua unto the people, Hallow yourselves, —for, to-morrow, will Yahweh do in your midst, wonderful things.
6 Hagi Josua'a pristi vahera amanage huno zamasami'ne, tamagra huhagerafi huvempage vogisia eritma vahe'mokizmi zamavuga vugoteho, hige'za ke amage ante'za eri'za vahe zamavuga vugota hu'naze.
And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take ye up the ark of the covenant, and pass on before the people. So they took up the ark of the covenant, and went on before the people.
7 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a Josuana amanage huno asami'ne, Nagra menina agafa hu'na Israeli vahe zamavufi kagi'a erisga hanuge'za, zamagrama ke'za antahi'zama hanazana, Mosese'enema mani'neaza huno Anumzamo'a kagri'enena mani'ne hu'za antahigahaze.
Then said Yahweh unto Joshua: This day, will I begin to magnify thee in the eyes of all Israel, —who shall know, that, as I was with Moses, I will be with thee.
8 Hagi menina huhagerafi huvempage vogisima erisaza pristi vahera amanage hunka zamasamio, tamagrama Jodani timofo ankenare'ma vanutma, ti amu'nompi vutma ome oti fatgo hiho.
Thou, therefore, shalt command the priests who am bearing the ark of the covenant, saying, —When ye are come as far as the edge of the waters of the Jordan, in the Jordan, shall ye stand.
9 Higeno Josua'a Israeli vahera amanage huno zamasami'ne, amare erava'o huta Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamo'ma hiankea eme antahiho.
Then said Joshua, unto the sons of Israel, —Draw near hither, and hear ye the words of Yahweh your God.
10 Nehuno Josua'a amanage huno Israeli vahera zamasami'ne, ko'ma mani'naza Kenani vahe'ma, Hiti vahe'ma, Hivi vahe'ma, Peresi vahe'ma, Gilgasi vahe'ma, Amori vahe'ma, Jebusi vahe'ma zamahe panini hanigeta, kasefa huno mani'nea Anumzamo'a amu'nontifi mani'ne hutma keta antahita hugahaze.
And Joshua said, Hereby, shall ye know, that a Living GOD is in your midst, —and that he will, certainly dispossess, from before you, the Canaanite and the Hittite, and the Hivite and the Perizzite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Jebusite.
11 Keho, maka mopama kegava hu'nea Ra Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisimo'ma, vugota huno Jodani tima takahe'nigeta,
Lo! the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth, is about to pass before you into the Jordan.
12 menina Israeli vahe'mota mago'mago naga nofipintira mago vahe huhamprita zmavaretere hinke'za 12fu'a vahe eho.
Now, therefore, take you twelve men, out of the tribes of Israel, —one man severally for each tribe;
13 Hagi Ra Anumzama maka mopama kegava hu'nea Anumzamofo Agri huhagerafi huvempage vogisima erisaza pristi vahe'mo'zama zamagama Jodani timpima ome resageno'a, tima ne'eazamo'a taneno kamanu kaziga magopi ante hihihuno marerigahie.
and it shall be, when the soles of the feet of the priests who are bearing the ark of Yahweh, Lord of all the earth, do rest, in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan, shall be cut off, the waters that are coming down from above, —and shall stand in one mound.
14 Anante pristi vahe'mo'za huhagerafi huvempage vogisia eri'za vugota nehazage'za, Israeli vahe'mo'za ana pristi vahe'mokizmi zmavariri'za Jodani tina takahenaku seli nozamia tagana vazi'za e'neri'za maka'za zamia retro hu'naze.
And it came to pass, when the people set out from their tents, to cross the Jordan, —with the priests, bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,
15 Hagi maka kafufina ne'zama hamare knarera Jodani timo'a tusi ti hagetere nehiane. Hagi e'i ana knarekino timo'a amutu'amutu nehifi pristi vahe'mo'za huhagerafi huvempage vogisia eri'za Jodani timofo ankenare ehanati'za zamagia timpi eme razageno,
then, as the bearers of the ark came as far as the Jordan, and, the feet of the priests who were bearing the ark, were dipped in the edge of the waters, —the Jordan being full over all his banks, all the days of harvest,
16 kamaniti'ma e'nea timo'a taneno ogamanu afete Zaretani tavaonte me'nea rankuma Adamua, magopi ome ante hihi huno agonagna huno marerigeno, kami kazigama fri'nea hagerintegama evia timo'a tane vagarege'za hagage mopare vu'za kantu kaziga Jeriko tava'onte uhanati'naze.
that the waters which were coming down from above, stood—rose up in one mound, a great way off, by the city Adam, which is beside Zarethan, and, they which were going down to the sea of the waste plain, the salt sea, failed—were cut off, —and, the people, passed over, right against Jericho.
17 Hagi Ra Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisima zamafunte'ma kofi'naza pristi vahe'mo'za, timofo amu'nompima hagegema hu'nere oti hanaveti'nage'za, ana maka Israeli vahe'mo'za Jodani timo'ma hagagema hu'nea moparera evu vagare'za kantu kaziga vu'naze.
And the priests who were bearing the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, stood on dry ground, in the midst of the Jordan, with firm footing, —while all Israel were passing over on dry ground, until all the nation had made an end of passing over the Jordan.
