Zosua 23

1 Hanki Ra Anumzamo'a Israeli vahera mani fru zamige'za ha' vahe'zaminena hara osu rama'a kafu amane mani'naze. Ana knafina Josua'a rama'a kafu maniteno ozafare'ne.

And it comes to pass, many days after that YHWH has given rest to Israel from all their surrounding enemies, that Joshua is old, entering into days,

2 Anante Josua'a maka Israeli vahe'ma, ranra vahe'ma, ugagota kva vahe'ma, naneke refko hu kva vahetamine, vahete ugagota hu'naza vahe'tamina ke hige'za azageno amanage huno zamasami'ne, Nagra rama'a kafu manite'na menina ozafaroe.

and Joshua calls for all Israel, for his elderly, and for his heads, and for his judges, and for his authorities, and says to them, “I have become old; I have entered into days;

3 Hanki Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo'ma tamaza huno tamagu vazi'nea zana tamagra'a hago ke'naze. Na'ankure Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo Agra'a tamaza huno ha' vahetamia hara huzmante'ne.

and you have seen all that your God YHWH has done to all these nations because of you, for your God YHWH [is] He who is fighting for you;

4 Hanki menina ama kea antahi ankereho, ha'ma huzamanteta e'ori'nona mopane, ko'ma hahu zamagatereta eri'nona mopama, Jodani tinteti agafa huteno vuno zage ufre kaziga Mediterenia hagerinte'ma uhanati'nea mopa, ana maka hago refko hu'na nagate nofite hu'na tamugeta erisantihare'naze.

see, I have caused these nations who are left to fall to you for an inheritance to your tribes, from the Jordan (and all the nations which I cut off), and the Great Sea [at] the [setting] sun.

5 Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo tamavugatira ha' vahe'tamia zamahe'natitresigeta, Ra Anumzamo'ma huvempama huramante'nea kante anteta mopazamia erigahaze.

As for your God YHWH, He thrusts them from your presence, and has dispossessed them from before you, and you have possessed their land, as your God YHWH has spoken to you,

6 E'ina hu'negu Mosese'ma kasege avontafepima krente'nea nanekemofona kva hu'neta hankavetita, avariri fatgo nehuta, rukrahe hu kanti kama osiho.

and you have been very strong to keep and to do the whole that is written in the Scroll of the Law of Moses, so as not to turn aside from it right or left,

7 Hanki amama emani'naza mopafi vahe'enena taragoteta omanita, zamagri anumzamofo agi'a amu'nontamifina oheta, ana anumzantamimofo zamagirera huvempa osutma, eri'zana erinozmanteta, tamarenareta monora huozamanteho.

so as not to go in among these nations, these who are left with you; and you do not make mention of the name of their gods, nor do you swear, nor do you serve them, nor do you bow yourselves to them;

8 Hu'neanagi tamagra ko'ma hutma neazaza hutma, Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamofona otretma azeriko'na hiho.

but you cleave to your God YHWH, as you have done until this day.

9 Na'ankure tusi'a hankavenentake ranra kumapi vahe'tamina Ra Anumzamo zamahenatitre'ne. Ana higeno mago vahe'mo'e huno tamagrira tamazeri otrageta manita menina ama knarera ehanati'naze.

And YHWH is dispossessing great and mighty nations from before you; as for you, none has stood in your presence until this day;

10 Hagi magoke magokemoka 1tauseni'a vahera amne zamorotgo hugahane. Na'ankure Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo'a huvempa hu'nea kea amage anteno hara tamaza huno nehie.

one man of you pursues a thousand, for your God YHWH [is] He who is fighting for you, as He has spoken to you;

11 Ana hu'negu tamagra kva hunetma Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamofona tamagu'areti hutma avesinteho.

and you have been very watchful for yourselves to love your God YHWH.

12 Hianagi tamagrama tagri Anumzama atretma, ama emani'nona mopafi vahe'enema ru tragoteta manige, zamagripinti'ma a'ma erige'ma hanazana,

But—if you turn back at all and have cleaved to the remnant of these nations, these who are left with you, and intermarried with them, and gone in to them, and they to you,

13 tamagra antahi'naze, Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo'a tamaza huno hara ana vahera huzmanteno, zamahenati otregahie. Hagi ana hanige'zma tamagrane mani'ne'za mago krifugna nehu'za, sefu kanonu vahe'mofo amagenafi rutraga huno ata amiankna hu'za tamata nerami'za, ave've tra'zamo zamavufi azeriankna nehanigeta, ana maka'mota knazampi mani'neta ama ana knare mopama Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamo'ma tami'nea mopafina frigahaze.

certainly know that your God YHWH is not continuing to dispossess these nations from before you, and they have been to you for a trap, and for a snare, and for a scourge, in your sides, and for thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good ground which your God YHWH has given to you.

14 Hanki nagra kofta huna fri'nugu, tamagra tamagu'areti huta hago antahi'naze, Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamo'ma tamigahue huno huvempama hu'nea zantamina ana maka tamivagare'ne. Hagi magore huno huvempa hu'nea kemo'a hantaga osutfa hu'ne.

And behold, I am going, today, in the way of all the earth, and you have known—with all your heart, and with all your soul—that there has not fallen one thing of all the good things which your God YHWH has spoken concerning you; the whole have come to you; there has not failed of it one thing.

15 Tamage, Ra Anumzamo'ma huvempama hu'nenuno'a, kea amage anteno kema hu'nea zana tro nehie. Anahukna huno Ra Anumzamo'ma kore kema huramanteno tamigahue huno'ma hu'nesia knazanteti, knazana tamino tamazeri haviza hanigeta, ama knare mopama tami'nea mopafina omanita fri vagaregahaze.

And it has been, as there has come on you all the good thing which your God YHWH has spoken to you, so YHWH brings on you the whole of the evil thing, until His destroying you from off this good ground which your God YHWH has given to you;

16 Hanki tamagrama Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo'ma huvempama huramante'nea kasegema agatenereta ke'ama rutagreta vuta havi anumzamofo eri'za vahe manige, tamarenareta mono huntege'ma hanazana, Ra Anumzamofo rimpahe'zamo'a tamagrite ena, ama knare mopama tamigeta mani'naza mopafintira frita omanigahaze.

in your transgressing the covenant of your God YHWH which He commanded you, and you have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them, then the anger of YHWH has burned against you, and you have perished quickly from off the good land which He has given to you.”
