1 Ana hutageno Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Josuana asami'ne,
And the Lord spoke unto Joshua, saying,
2 Israeli vahe'mokizmia zamasamige'za vahe'mo'zama koro fre'za zamagu'ma ome vazi'naza rankumatamina Mosesema asamugeno tamasami'nea kante ante'za mago'a huhamprinteho.
speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint for yourselves the cities of refuge, whereof I have spoken unto you by the hand of Moses;
3 Hanki mago'mo'ma, vahe ahefri antahintahi omne'nena hantagama huno vahe'ma ahe frisuno'a, agra koro freno ana aguvazi kumatamimpi vuno umanisige'za, anama ahe fri'nesia vahe'mofo naga'mo'zama ahenaku'ma hanazana ohegahaze.
That thither may flee the manslayer that killeth any person unawares, without knowledge; and they shall be unto you for a refuge from the avenger of the blood.
4 Hagi ana ne'mo'ma koro'ma freno mago kuma'mofo ufre kahante'ma vanuno'a, agra ana kumamofo ufre kahante umani'neno, ana kumate ugota vahe'ene, agrama hu'nea zankura keaga eri fatgo hino. Anama hutesige'za atresageno ufreno ana kumapina zamagrane umanigahie.
And he shall flee unto one of those cities, and he shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city, and speak in the ears of the elders of that city his words; and they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.
5 Hanki agrama hu'nea hazenkere'ma nona hunaku mago vahe'mo'ma rotagoma huno ana kumate'ma esige'za, ana kumate'ma ugota hu'naza kva vahe'mo'za anama hazenkema hu'nea nera avre omigahaze. Na'ankure agri ha' vahera omani'ne. Hianagi ahe frisue huno oheneanki, amne hantaga huno ahe fri'negu, ana kumapi vahe'mo'za ana nera kegava hunteho.
And if the avenger of the blood should pursue after him, then shall they not deliver the manslayer up into his hand; because without knowledge did he smite his neighbor, and he was not an enemy to him in time past.
6 Hanki agra ana kumapinke'za mani'nesige'za, ana kumapima nemaniza maka vahe zamavure keaga'a refko hugahaze. Hanki keaga'ama refko'ma hanageno'ma hazenkema omane'nesigeno'a, agra ana kumapinke mani'nesigeno, ana knafima ugagotama hu'nesia pristi nera fritesigeno, mopa agafa'arera ete vugahie.
And he shall dwell in that city, until he shall have stood before the congregation for judgment, [and] until the death of the high-priest that may be in those days: then shall the manslayer return, and come unto his own house, unto the city whence he hath fled.
7 Hanki Ra Anumzamo'ma anankema hiana antahite'za, Naftali naga'mokizmi mopamofo agona asoparega, Galili kaziga me'nea kuma Kadesima, Efraemi naga mopamofo agonamofo asoparega me'nea kuma Sekemine, Juda nagamokizmi mopamofo agona asoparega me'nea kuma Kiriat-Arba (mago agi'a menina Hebronie nehaze) ana kumatami hu hampri'naze.
And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in the mountain of Naphtali, and Shechem in the mountain of Ephraim, and Kiryath-arba', which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah.
8 Hanki Jeriko kumamofo zage hanatitega, Jodani timofo kantu kaziga, ka'ma mopama me'nerega Rubeni naga'mofo agupo moparega me'nea kumara Bezerima, Gileati kaziga Gati naga'mofo mopa me'nea kuma Ramotima, Basani kazigama Golani mopa Manase naga'mofo mopafima me'nea rankuma huhampri'naze.
And on the other side of the Jordan by Jericho eastward, they appointed Bezer in the wilderness in the plain from the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gil'ad from the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan from the tribe of Menasseh.
9 Hanki Israeli vahepinti mago'mo'o, ru vahe'ma tamagranema emani'nesaza vahepinti, mago'mo'ma, vahe ahefri antahintahima omne'ne'nigeno hantaga huno mago vahe'ma ahe frisuno'a, anama huhamprinte kumatamimpi koro freno umani'nesigeno, nona huno ahe frisue huno rotago huno'ma esimo'a, ahe ofrigahie. Na'ankure agra maka vahe zamavurera keagafina oraoti'ne.
These were the cities assigned for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that thither might flee whosoever killeth any person at unawares, and that he should not die by the hand of the avenger of the blood, until he have stood before the congregation.
