< Zosua 11 >
1 Hanki Josua'ma hahuzmagaterea kema Hazori kini ne' Jabini'ma nentahino'a, Madoni kini ne' Jobabune, Simroni kini ne' Aksafuntegane kea atrezmante'ne.
And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor heard, that he sent unto Jobab king of Madon, and unto the king of Shimron, and unto the king of Achshaph;
2 Ana zanke huno vahe'ma kema hu'neana, noti kaziga agona ramimpima nemaniza kini vahetamine, Galili timofo sauti kaziga Araba kinima, zage ufre (westi) kaziga agona ramimpine Nafot-Dorinema nemaniza kini vahera ke hu'ne.
and unto the kings who were on the north in the hill country and in the waste plain south of Chinneroth, and in the lowland, —and in the heights of Dor, on the west:
3 Ana'ma hiaza huno, zage hanati kazigane, zage ufre kazigama nemaniza Kenani vahe'ene, Amori vahe'ma, Hiti vahe'ma, Perizi vahe'ma, agona ramimpima nemaniza Jebusi vahe'ene, Hivi vahe'ma Mizpa kaziga Hemoni agona tvaonte'ma nemaniza vahera kea hu'ne.
the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite and the Jebusite, in the hill country, —and the Hivite, under Hermon, in the land of Mizpah;
4 Hagi ana kuma tamimpi kini vahe'mo'zama anankema nentahi'zama e'nazana, maka sondia vahe'zmia tusi'a kasepankna hu'za hampriga osuga'are vahera nezamavare'za, rama'a hosi afu zamine, ha'ma hanaza karisi zamine eri'za e'naze.
and they came out—they, and all their hosts with them, much people, like the sand that is upon the seashore for multitude, —with horses and chariots very many.
5 Hanki ana maka kini vahe'mo'za mago zamarimpa hu'za sondia vahezmia Meromu tinte eme zamazeri atru hu'za, Israeli vahera ha' huzmanteku kuma eme ante'naze.
And, when all these kings were gathered together, they came in, and encamped as one man, at the waters of Merom, to fight with Israel.
6 Ana hazageno Ra Anumzamo'a Josuana amanage huno asami'ne, Zamagrikura korora osuo. Na'ankure ama ananknare okina Israeli vahera zamaza ha'nena ha' vahe'zamia maka zamahe fri vagaregahaze. Ana'ma nehutma hosi afutamimofo agigruna runekafrita, karisi zamia teve hanavazita kregahaze.
Then said Yahweh unto Joshua—Do not fear because of them, for, to-morrow, about this time, am I going to deliver up all of them, slain, before Israel, —their horses, shalt thou ham-string, and, their chariots, shalt thou burn up with fire.
7 Anage hutege'za Josua'ene sondia naga'mo'za ha' vahe'zamimo'za antri hazaza hu'za, Meromu tinteti agafa hu'za hara eme hu'zmante'naze.
So Joshua, and all the army with him, came in upon them, by the waters of Merom, suddenly, and fell upon them.
8 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a Israeli vahera zamaza hige'za, ha' vahezamia zamahete'za zamagenere'za vu'nazana, anagamu noti kaziga Saidoni rankuma'ene Misrefot-Maim vute'za, zage hanati kaziga Mispae nehaza aguporegane hara huzmante'za vu'za ana maka vahera zamahe fri vagare'naze.
And Yahweh delivered them up into the hand of Israel, and they smote them, and chased them as far as great Zidon, and as far as Misrephoth-maim, and as far as the valley of Mizpeh, eastward, —yea they smote them until they left them not a survivor.
9 Hanki Ra Anumzamo'ma hunte'nea kante Josua'a hosi afutamimofo agigrunaramina taga nehuno, maka karisiramina teve hanavazino krevagare'ne.
And Joshua did unto them, as Yahweh had said unto him, —their horses, he ham-strung, and, their chariots, burned he up with fire.
10 Ana zupage Josua'a rukrahe huno Hasori rankumara ha' ome huzmanteno zamazeri zamagatenereno, Hasori kini nera bainati kazinteti ahe fri'ne. Ana knafina Hazori rankuma'mo'a anampima me'nea kumatamimofo vugota huzmante'nea rankuma eri haviza hu'ne.
Then Joshua turned back, at that time, and captured Hazor, and, the king thereof, smote he with the sword, —for, Hazor, aforetime, was the head of all these kingdoms.
And they smote all the souls that were therein, with the edge of the sword, devoting them to destruction, there was left no breathing thing, —and, Hazor, burned he up with fire.
12 Ana nehuno Josua'a ana maka marerisa kumatamina erivaga nereno, kini vahe zaminena kazinteti zamahe vagarene. Ra Anumzamofo eri'za ne' Mosese'ma asmi'nea kante amage anteno, Josua'a mago zane huno otreno ana maka zantamina eri haviza hu vagare'ne.
And, all the cities of these kings, and all the kings thereof, did Joshua capture, and he smote them with the edge of the sword, devoting them to destruction, —as Moses, the servant of Yahweh, commanded.
Yet, none of the cities that were still standing upon their mound, did Israel burn, none but Hazor alone, did Joshua burn.
But, all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, did the sons of Israel take as their prey, —nevertheless, all the human beings, smote they with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, they left remaining no breathing thing.
15 Hanki ko'ma Ra Anumzamo'ma eri'za ne'a Mosesema asmigeno, ete Mosese'ma asami'nea kante anteno magore huno otreno ana maka'zana Josua'a huvagare'ne.
As Yahweh commanded Moses his servant, so, Moses commanded Joshua, and, so, Joshua, did, he set aside nothing of all that Yahweh commanded Moses.
16 Hanki ne'onse agonafima me'nea mopama, maka Negevi kaziga mopama, Koseni mopama, zage fre kaziga ne'onse agona mopama, Jodani tima enevia agupoma, Siferane Araba mopama, ana maka agona mopane agupo mopama Israelima me'neana, maka Josua'a eri vagare'ne.
So Joshua took all this land—the hill country, and all the south, and all the land of Goshen, and the lowland, and the waste plain, —and the hill country of Israel, and the lowland thereof:
17 Ana mopama agafa hu'neana, fenkamu sauti kaziga Idomu tvaonte Haraki agonareti agafa huteno, vuno anagamu noti kaziga Hemoni agonamofo agiafi Lebanoni aguporega Ba'algati rankumate uhanati'ne. Hagi Josua'a ana kumatamimpi kini vahera ko hahu zamagatereteno ana maka zamahe fri vagare'ne.
from Mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even as far as Baal-gad, in the valley of the Lebanon, under Mount Hermon, —and, all their kings, he captured, and smote them, and put them to death.
Many days, did Joshua, with all these kings, make war.
19 Hanki mago rankumate vahe'mo'e huno Israeli vahe'enena frua huno omani'ne. Hianagi magoke Gibionima nemaniza Hivi vahe'mo'zage Israeli vahe'enena fru hu'za mani'naze. Hagi ana maka zana ha' huzage eri'naze.
There was not a city that made peace with the sons of Israel, save the Hivites dwelling in Gibeon, —the whole, took they in battle.
For, from Yahweh, came it to pass, that their heart was emboldened to come out to war with Israel, that he might devote them to destruction, that they might find no favour, —but that he might destroy them, —as Yahweh commanded Moses.
21 Ana zupa Josua'a vuno ranra zaferinagrerafane Anaki vahe'ma agona ramimpima nemaniza vahera ha' huzmanteno zamahehana hu'ne. Ana vahe'ma nemaniza kumatamina, Hebronima, Debirima, Anabuma, Judama me'nea agona ramimpine Israelima me'nea agona ramimpima nemaniza vahera Josua'a ana maka zamahe vaganereno, rankuma zaminena eri haviza hu'ne.
And Joshua came in, at that time, and cut off the Anakim from the hill country—from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel, —with their cities, did Joshua devote them to destruction.
22 Hanki Israeli mopa'afina zaferinage Anaki vahera omani'naze.
There was left remaining none of the Anakim, in the land of the sons of Israel, —save only, in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, did some remain.
23 Higeno Ra Anumzamo'ma Mosesema asmi'nea kante anteno, Josua'a ana maka mopa eri vagare'ne. Ana huteno Josua'a ana maka Israeli vahera erisantihare'za manisagu nagate nofite mopa refko huno zamitere hu'ne.
So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that Yahweh had spoken unto Moses, and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel, according to their portions by their tribes, —and, the land, had rest from war.
