< Jona 2 >

1 Jona'a nozamemofo arimpafinti, Ra Anumzana agra'a Anumzamofontega nunamu hu'ne.
Then prayed Jonah, unto Yahweh, his God, —out of the belly of the fish;
(Sheol h7585)
and said—I cried—out of my distress—unto Yahweh, and he answered me, —Out of the belly of hades, called I, Thou didst hear my voice. (Sheol h7585)
3 Kagra nasga hunka ame fenkame hagerimofo agu'afinka natre'nane. Anampina timofo hanavemo nazeri kagigagi hu'ne. Kagra hanave'ane zaho huntankeno haferina eri kranto kranto huno e'nea timo, nagrira nazeri nakrino refite'ne.
For thou hast cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and, a flood, enveloped me, —All thy breakers and thy rolling waves, over me, passed.
4 Ana hige'na Kagripintira ko nagrira nahe anati atre'nane hu'na nagra antahi'noe. Kagri ruotge ra mono nonka'a mago'ene onkegahue, hu'na nagesa antahi'noe.
And, I, said, I am driven out from before thine eyes, —Yet will I again have regard unto thy holy temple:
5 Kagigagi huno avune ante'nea timo, nazeri nakrino nanankempi marerige'na ti nakrika ate'noe. Ame fenkame tami'nea timo nazeri kagigeno, Hagerimpi inozamo nanuna eri ano vazi'ne.
The waters, encompassed me, to the peril of my life, The roaring deep, enveloped me, —The sea-weed, was wrapped about my head:
6 Agonamofo agafafi nagra urami'noe. Ana mopamofo agu'afinka rentrako hunantesige'na kina hu'na manivava hugahue hu'na nagesa antahi'noe. Hu'neanagi Kagra Ra Anumzamoka, ana kerifintira naza hunka navare atre'nane.
To the roots of the mountains, went I down, As for the earth, her bars, were about me, age-abidingly, —Then didst thou bring up—out of the pit—my life, O Yahweh my God.
7 Navu evuevu hige'na frinaku nehu'na, nagra Ra Anumzamoka nagesa antahi kamugeno, nunamuni'amo ruotge ra mono nonka'afine, Kagrite'ene e'ne.
When my soul, darkened itself over me, Yahweh, I remembered, —and my prayer, came in unto thee, unto thy holy temple.
8 Knare osuno havi anumzante mono hunentaza vahe'mo'za, Anumzamofo asunku'zana zamagra erigaragi, zamagena hunemize.
They who take heed to the vanities of falsehood, do, their own lovingkindness, forsake.
9 Hianagi Ra Anumzamoka kezati'na kagia erisga nehu'na, nagra zagamepinti Kagritega ofa hugantegahue Ra Anumzanimoka nagrama huvempama hua kea, amage antegahue, na'ankure nazahu hanavea Ra Anumzamoka Kagrake mani'nane.
But, I, with the voice of praise, will sacrifice unto thee, What I have vowed, I will pay, —Salvation, belongeth to Yahweh!
10 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a nozamea huntegeno ke'a zafa huno, Jonana hageri ankenare hagage kahepante amu ome atitre'ne.
So then Yahweh spake unto the fish, —and it vomited out Jonah, upon the dry land.
