< Joni 3 >

1 Hagi Farisi vahepinti mago nera agi'a Nikodimasi, Jiu vahe'mokizmi mono kanisol ne' mani'ne.
Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
2 E'i ana ne'mo'a kenage hanimpi Jisasinte eno amanage huno antahige'ne. Rempi hurami ne'moka antahi'none, Kagrama hurami ne' Anumzamofontegati e'nane. Mago'mo'a Kagrama nehanaza huno amanahu avame zana osugahie, Anumzamo agrane mani'nesimo hugahie.
He came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that yoʋ are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs yoʋ are doing unless God is with him.”
3 Higeno Jisasi'a kenona'a amanage huno asami'ne, Tamagerafa hu'na ama kea negasamue. Runema kasefa osnimo'a, Anumzamofo kumapina uofregahie,
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to yoʋ, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nikodimasi'a kenona'a huno, inankna huno ra vahe'mo'a ete osi mofavregna huno fore hugahie? Ete ra vahe'mo'a anta'amofo arimpafina ufrenkeno eteno kasentegahifi?
Nicodemus said to him, “How can a person be born when he is old? Can he enter the womb of his mother a second time and be born?”
5 Higeno Jisasi'a ana kemofo nona'a amanage huno asmi'ne, Tamagerafa hu'na kagrira negasamue. Aza'o tinteti'ene Avamuteti'ene kasefa osnimo'a, Anumzamofo kumapina uofregahie,
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to yoʋ, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 Mopafi vahe'mo'ma kasente'nesiana vahere. Hanki Ruotge Avamu'mo'ma eri fore hu'nesia zana avamure.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Amama kasamisua zankura Nagriku hie hunka kmanogura osunka, kagra etenka kasefa mofavre hampro,
Do not be amazed that I said to yoʋ, ‘You must be born again.’
8 Zahomo'a inantega vunaku hirega nevigenka agasasa'a nentahine. Hagi inantegati eteno, inantega nevio antahinka kenka nosane. E'ina hu'za mika vahe'mo'za Avamupina kasefara nehaze.
The wind blows where it wishes. Yoʋ hear the sound of it, but yoʋ do not know where it is coming from or where it is going; so it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
9 Higeno Nikodimasi'a ana zanku, amanahu zamo'a inankna hugahie? huno higeno,
In response Nicodemus said to him, “How can these things be?”
10 Jisasi'a ana kemofo nona'a amanage huno hu'ne, Israeli vahe'mokizmi rempi huzami ne' mani'nenka, ama nanekea antahi amara nosano?
Jesus answered him, “Yoʋ are the teacher of Israel, and yoʋ do not understand these things?
11 Tamagerfa hu'na negasamue. Kema nehunana, antahita keta hu'nona zanku huama nehunketa, ana nanekegura tamagra antahinoramize.
Truly, truly, I say to yoʋ, we speak of what we know, and we testify about what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.
12 Mopafi zanku'ma neramasamisunketa tamagrama tamentintima osanuta inankna huta monafi zanku'ma tamasami'sunana tamentintia hugahaze?
If I have spoken to you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I speak to you about heavenly things?
13 Mago'mo'a monafinka mrerino ovu'ne. Hagi Agra monafinkati'ma erami'neana, Vahe'mofo Mofavremo erami'ne.
No one has ascended into heaven, except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.
14 Mosesema hagage kokampi osifa'vema erintesga hu'nea kna hu'za, Vahe'mofo Mofavrea azeri antesga hugahaze.
Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15 Hanigeno aza'o, Agripi amentinti hanimo'a, manivava asimu erigahie. (aiōnios g166)
so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
16 Anumzamo tusiza huno mopafi vaheku avesi nezmanteno, magoke ante'nea Ne'mofavre'a zami'ne. Agrite zamentinti hanamo'za fanane osu'za manivava zamasimu erigahaze. (aiōnios g166)
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
17 Na'ankure Anumzamo Mofavre'a huntegeno ama mopafima e'neana, mopafi vahe refko hinogu huntegeno ome'ne. Hagi Agripinkati vahe'mo'za zamagu'vazizana erisaze huno huntegeno erami'ne.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him.
18 Aza'o Agrite'ma amentintima himofona refko huno nanekea hunonte, iza'o Agrite'ma amentintima nosimofona, trate ko avrenteno keaga hunte'ne. Na'ankure Anumzamofona magoke Mofavre'amofo agirera, agra amentinti osigu ana nehie.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
This is the judgment: The light has come into the world, but people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.
20 Aza'o havizama nehia vahe'mo'a, tavi'mofona zamesra hunente'za, masarera nomaze. Na'ankure haviza nehazazamo eama huzanku nomaze.
For whoever does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, so that his works may not be exposed.
21 Hu'neanagi aza'o tamage avu'ava'ma nehimo'a tavitera egahie. Na'ankure hakaremo'za nege'za Anumzamofo avenesiaza nehie hu'za hugahaze.
But whoever lives by the truth comes to the light, so that it may be evident that his works have been done in obedience to God.”
22 Hagi ananteti Jisasi'a amagenentaza disaipol naga'ane, Judia kaziga vu'za mago'a kna umani'ne'za mono tina fre zamante'naze.
After this Jesus went into the Judean countryside along with his disciples, and he spent some time there with them, baptizing people.
23 E'i ana knafi Joni'a, Salim kumamofo tava'onte Ainoni kumate mono tina frezmante'ne. Na'ankure anantega rama'a tina me'nege'za vahe'mo'za ete'vute hu'za mono tina fre'naze.
Now John was also baptizing people in Aenon near Salem, because there was plenty of water there, and people were coming to him and being baptized.
24 Na'ankure Jonina kina huonte'naza knafine.
(For John had not yet been thrown into prison.)
25 Ana nehazage'za Jonima amage nentaza disaipol naga'ane, mago Jiu ne'ene, Juda vahe'mokizmi avu'avapi ti fre'za avu sese nehaza zanku keaga hu'naze.
Now a discussion arose between the disciples of John and a Jew about purification.
26 Nehu'za Joninte e'za amanage hu'za asmi'naze. Hurami (Rabbai) ne'moke, Jodani timofo kantu kaziga kagrane mani'neama, Agri agi hu'ama hu'nana ne'mo'a, mono ti frenezmantege'za mika vahe'mo'za Agrite nevaze.
So John's disciples came and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with yoʋ beyond the Jordan, about whom yoʋ have testified, behold, he is baptizing people, and everyone is going to him.”
27 Hazageno Joni'a anage hu'ne, mago vahe'mo'a, Mago zana e'origahie, ana hugahianagi monafinkati mago'zama amisigeno'a amne erigahie.
John replied, “A person cannot receive anything unless it is given to him from heaven.
28 Tamagratmi antahi'nage'na amanahu kea hu'noe, Nagra Kraisi'na omani'noe hu'na hu'noe. Hianagi Agrira azeri henka atreno, nagrira pusante hunantege'na e'noe.
You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but rather, ‘I have been sent ahead of him.’
29 Mago vemo'ma a'ma erinaku nehigeno rone'amo oti'neno antahi nemino, aravema huku hia vahe'mofo ageru nentahino muse nehie. E'ina higu nagrira muse zamo'a avite'ne.
He who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and listens for him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.
30 Agri agimo marerisigeno nagri nagimo uramisie.
He must increase, but I must decrease.”
31 Agra anagamiti e'nemo'a maka'zana agatere'ne, aza'o ama mopafinti'ma e'nesimo'a, ama mopafi vahekino, ama mopafi zankuke kea hugahie. Agra aza'o monafinkati'ma e'nemo'a, Agra maka'zamofona zamagtere'ne.
He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. But he who comes from heaven is above all.
32 Agrama antahino keno hu'nea zante Agra naneke'a huama nehie, hianagi mago'mo'e huno agi agenke'a antahi anira osu'ne.
He testifies to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony.
33 Iza'o, Agri agi agenke'a erimo'a, tamage huno Anumzamofo nanekegura nehie.
Whoever does receive his testimony has certified that God is true.
34 Na'ankure Agrira Anumzamo huntege'no e'neankino, Anumzamofo keaga nehie. Na'ankure Agra refko osuga'are Avamura aviteno ami'ne.
For he whom God sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without measure.
35 Nefa'a, Nemofona avesinteno mika'zana kva hugahie huno, Agri azampi ante'ne.
The Father loves the Son and has put all things in his hand.
36 Aza'o Nemofonte amentintima hanimo'a manivava asimura erigahie. Hagi iza'o Nemofo kema rutagresimo'a manivava asimura e'origahie. Hanki Anumzamofo tusi'a rimpahe knazamo agrite megahie. (aiōnios g166)
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life; rather, the wrath of God remains upon him. (aiōnios g166)
