< Joni 12 >
1 Hagi kinafinti Jiu vahe zamare'nea kna (Pasova) 6si'a zagegna atupa nehigeno, fri'nefinti azeri oti'nea ne' Lasarusi'ma nemania kumate Jisasi'a Betani uhanati'ne.
Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, who He had raised from the dead.
There they made Him a supper, and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him.
3 Trazamofo rafu'nareti tro hu'naza msavena, zago'amo mareri'nea masaventafe Maria'a erino, Jisasina agiare tagino frenteteno, anu azokateti eri ho'mu huntegeno, ana nomofona mana'amo avite'ne.
Then Mary took a pound of very costly perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
4 Hianagi Judas Iskarioti'a, mago amagenentea disaipol ne'mo, komoru huno Jisasina avreno ha' vahe zamazampi antesimo'a anage hu'ne,
Then one of Jesus’ disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who was about to betray Him, said,
5 Na'a hanigeta ama masavena 3 hantreti'a silva zagorera atreta, zago erita zamunte omne vahera zamaza osugahuno?
“Why wasn’t this fragrant oil sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?”
6 Menima Judas Iskariotima ama kema nehiana, na'ankure agra zamunte omne vahe zamaza hunaku nentahino nosie, hagi agra kumza nere. Zago tafente kva nehia nekino, mago'a zagoma ome nentazana anampinkati musufa eritere nehia ne'mo anage higeno,
Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and since he had the money box, he used to steal from what was put into it.
7 Jisasi'a anage hu'ne, Asenante'saza knagu avega ante'nea zanki, atrenkeno agra ana hino.
Jesus therefore said, “Leave her alone. She has kept this for the day of my burial.
You will always have the poor among you, but you won’t always have me.”
9 Hagi maka Jiu vahe'mo'za antahi'zana Jisasi emani'ne hige'za, zamagra Jisasinke kenaku ome'nazanki, Lasarusima, fri'nefinti azeri oti'nea ne' kenaku e'naze.
Then a great multitude of the Jews learned that He was there; and they came, not just for Jesus’ sake, but also so that they could see Lazarus, who He had raised from the dead.
10 Hianagi vugota pristi vahe'mo'za Lasarusi'nena ahe frinaku ke anaki'naze.
So the chief priests plotted to kill Lazarus too,
because on account of him many of the Jews were going away, and were believing in Jesus.
12 Anante nanterana rama'a vahe'mo'za, kinafinti zamare'nea knagu antahimiza ne'za (Pasova) nenaza knare e'namo'za, Jisasi'a Jerusalemi ne-ea ke antahi'naze.
The next day, when a great multitude that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
(Hosana!) Ramofo Agifi ne-ea nera agi'a hentesga hanune! Israeli vahe'mofo kinia agi'a hentesga hanune!
they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and shouted: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ The King of Israel!”
14 Hagi Jisasi'a mago agaho ve tonki afu keteno, agumpi mrerino mani'ne, kasnampa vahe'mo'za korapa krente'naza kemo efore hu'ne.
Then Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it, as it is written:
15 Korera osiho Saioni veara, Keho tamagri Kinimo'a, agaho ve donki afumofo agumpi manino ne-e. (Zek 9:9)
“Don’t be afraid, Daughter of Zion; look, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt.”
16 Hagi agri amage nentaza disaipol naga'mo'za e'inama pusante hiazana antahi so'e osu'naze. Hianagi Jisasi'ma hanave'afi mrerino, Ra agi erige'za zamagra zamagesa nentahi'za, e'i Agriku huno avontafepina krente'negeno, amazana Agrite fore hie hu'naze.
His disciples didn’t understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.
17 Ana higeno, rama'a vahe'mo'za, Jisasi'a kerifinti Lasarusi azeri otige'za ke'naza vahe'mo'za, mago'ene ome huama hume vu'naze.
So the crowd that had been with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to testify.
The crowd also met Him because they heard that He had done this sign.
19 Ana hige'za Farisi vahe'mo'za ohumi ahumi hu'za zamagra anage hu'naze, keho tagrira neratre'za maka vea'mo'za Jisasi amage avriri'za nevze.
Then the Pharisees said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the whole world has gone after Him!”
Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast.
Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and told him, “Sir, we would like to see Jesus.”
22 Filipi'a eno Andruna eme asmitege'ne, tarega'moke vu'ke, Jisasina ome asmi'na'e.
Philip came and told Andrew, then Andrew and Philip came and told Jesus.
23 Jisasi'a anage huno kenona zani'arera hu'ne, Vahe'mofo Mofavremo ra agi erisia kna atupa nehie.
Jesus answered them, saying, “The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
Hianagi taniramino mopa agu'afi frisigeno'a rama'a raga'a rentegahie.
Most assuredly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it produces many grains.
25 Aza'o agragu'ma avesi antesimo'a, asimu'a atregahie. Iza'o ama mopafi mani'zama'a ha'rentesimo'a, manivava asimu erigahie. (aiōnios )
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, and anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (aiōnios )
26 Iza'o, Nagri eri'za erinaku hanimo'a, namage eno. Nagrama umanisure, eri'za vahe nimo'enena anante umanigahie, iza'o, Nagri eri'za erisimofona, Nenfa'a ra agi amigahie.
If anyone serves me, let them follow me; and where I am, there my servant will be also. If anyone serves me, my Father will honor them.
27 Menina Nagu namemo kna navenesianki, na'ane hu'na Nagra hugahue, Nafa'nimoka, ama knare (aua) fore hania knazampinti naza huo, hianagi ama'na agafare ama knarera (aua) e'noe.
“Now my soul has become troubled; and what will I say? ‘Father, save me from this time’? No, for this purpose I came to this time.
Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from Heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”
Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”
30 Jisasi'a kenona'a anage hu'ne, Ama'na agerura Nagri naza hunakura nosianki, tamagri tamaza hunaku nehie.
Jesus answered, “This voice hasn’t come for my sake, but for your sakes.
31 Menina ama mopa refkohu knae, menina ama mopafi kva hu'nea nera retufe atregahie.
Now judgment is upon this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
And I, if I am lifted up from the Earth, will draw everyone to myself.”
33 E'inagema hu'neana, fri'zamo avate'ma fore hanigeno frisnigu huama hu'ne.
He was saying this to indicate the kind of death He was about to die.
34 Hakare vahe'ma atru hu'namo'za, Agrikura amanage hu'naze, tagrama kasegefinti'ma antahi'nonana, Kraisi'a manivava hugahie hu'neanki, nahigenka Kagra hunka, Vahe'mofo Mofavrea azerisga hugahie nehane? Iza'e ana Vahe'mofo Mofavre'a? (aiōn )
Therefore the crowd answered Him, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ is to remain forever, so how can You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?” (aiōn )
35 Hazageno Jisasi'a kenona anage huno zamasmi'ne, Osi'a knafi Msamo'a tamagri amu nompina me'ne. Msama me'nenire kana nentenkeno hanimo'a tmagate oreno, iza'o hanimpima nevimo'a, iga nevio antahino keno nosie.
Jesus told them, “The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you don’t know where you are going.
36 Masama me'nenire, kagra Masagura kamentinti'a huo, e'inama hanunka kagra Masamofo mofavre manigahane. Jisasi'a anage huteno, Agra zamatreno vuno ome frakino mani'ne.
Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” After Jesus had said this, he departed and hid from them.
37 Jisasi'a rama'a kaguvaza (mirakol) huzmeri hu'neanagi, zamagra zamentintia Agritera osu'naze.
Although He had performed so many signs in front of them, they still didn’t believe in Him,
38 Ana higeno kasnampa ne'mo Aisaia hu'nea kemofo avufa'a fore nehie, Ramoka iza tagri kerera amentintia nehie? Ramofo hanave'amo'a izante eama hu'ne? (Ais 53:1)
so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And who has the arm of the LORD been revealed to?”
39 E'i ana agafare vahe'mo'za zamentinti nosaze. Aisaia'a mago'ene anage hu'ne,
Therefore they couldn’t believe, because Isaiah said again:
40 Ramo'a zamurga erisu nehuno, zamarimpa kafana erigi'ne, e'ina hanige'za zamurga nonke'za, zamarimpa erigisige'za zamagu zamagesa antahi ama nosuza, zamagu'a rukrehe osnage'na, zamazeri so'e osugahue hu'ne. (Ais 6:10.)
“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts and turn — and I would heal them.”
41 Hagi ama'i zanku'ma Aisaia'ma hu'neana, na'ankure Jisasi'a hanave'afi mani'negeno ke'negu huno, Agriku hu'ne.
Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about Him.
42 Ana hianagi hakare'a mono kva vahe'mo'za zamentinti Agrite hu'naze. Hianagi Farisi vaheku kore hu'za Jisasi'a, Kraisi'e hu'za huama osu'naze, anagema hanage'za mono nompinti (Sinagog) zamahe fegi atre'zanku kore hu'za osu'naze,
Nevertheless, even many of the rulers believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they weren’t confessing Him, for fear that they might be put out of the synagogue;
because they sincerely loved men’s approval more than God’s approval.
44 Jisasi'a ranke huno amanage hu'ne, Iza'o Nagrite amentinti nehimo'a hanimo'a, Nagritekera amentinti nosianki, Agrama hunantege'na e'nomofonte amentinti hugahie.
Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me doesn’t just believe in me, but in Him who sent me.
Whoever sees me sees Him who sent me.
46 Nagra ama mopafi Masa e'noe, maka vahe'mo'za Nagrite zamentinti hanamo'za hanimpina omanigahaze.
I have come into the world as light, that everyone who believes in me should not stay in darkness.
47 Iza'o nanekeni'a nentahino, amage nontemofona nanekea huontegahue. Na'ankure Nagra ama mopafi vahe refko hunaku ome'noe. Hianagi mopafi vahe zamaza hu'na zamavarenaku e'noe.
If anyone hears the words I speak, and doesn’t keep them, I don’t judge them; because I didn’t come to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 Iza'o Nagri nenatreno, ke'ni'a ontahisimofona, e'i anamofona refko'ma haniana, ama nanekema nehua nanekemo maka'za vagare knare, henka'a refko huntegahie.
Whoever rejects me, and doesn’t receive my sayings, has one who judges them. The words that I spoke are what will judge him at the last day.
49 Na'ankure Nagrani'a antahintahifinti ama nanekea nosue, hianagi Nfanimo Agra hunantege'na e'nomo, zamasmio hianke ana naneke'age nehue.
For I haven’t spoken on my own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent me has given me commandment, what to say, and what to speak.
50 Nagra antahi'noe, Agrama hiho hia kefi mani vava asimura me'ne. E'ina hu'negu Nagrama nehua kea Nenfa'ma huoma hia ke'age nehue. (aiōnios )
I know that His commandment is eternal life, so the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told me.” (aiōnios )
