1 Elifasi'ma anagema hutegeno Jopu'a amanage huno kenona hunte'ne.
And Job answers and says:
2 Hagi nasuzampima mani'noa zamofo kna'ane hazenke zani'amofo kna'anema sigerire'ma erinte'za kazasina,
“O that my provocation were thoroughly weighed, And my calamity in balances They would lift up together!
3 maka hagerinkenafi kaseparamimofo kna'a agateresine. E'inama hu'nea zankura nagra nagesa antahi so'e osu ame'ama hu'na rama'a kea hu'noe.
For now it is heavier than the sands of the sea, Therefore my words have been rash.
4 Na'ankure Hihamu'ane Anumzamo'a keve nahetrege'na masenogeno ana keveraminte'ma fre'nea avuatga zamo'a nazeri haviza nehie. Ana nehigeno nazeri koro'ma hu'zantamima Anumzamo'ma huntegeno e'nea zamo'a navuga emanimpi huneno nazeri korora nehie.
For arrows of the Mighty [are] with me, Whose poison is drinking up my spirit. Terrors of God array themselves [for] me!
5 Hagi afi donki afu'mo'zane bulimakao afu'mo'za trazama me'nege'zama nene'za krafa nosaze.
Does a wild donkey bray over tender grass? Does an ox low over his provender?
6 Hagi hagema ontegeno'ma hagama osu ne'zana vahe'mo'za amnea negahazafi? Nama amu'amofo efeke'amo'a haga hugahifi?
Is an insipid thing eaten without salt? Is there sense in the drivel of dreams?
7 Nagra e'inahu' ne'zama avako'ma hu'zankura navresra nehie. E'inahu ne'zama nenogeno'a, amuti nagesa nehige'na ana nezama ne'zankura tusi nagonete.
My soul is refusing to touch! They [are] as my sickening food.
8 E'igu Anumzamo'a nunamuni'a nentahino, nagesama nentahua zana hunantesiegu nave'nesie.
O that my request may come, That God may grant my hope!
9 Anumzamo'a nare hapati'nige'na fruresina knare nehigeno, Anumzamo'a azana rusuteno nahege'na fruresina knare hisine.
That God would please—and bruise me, Loose His hand and cut me off!
10 Knazampi mani'ne'na natagura nehuanagi, nazeri knare hugahie. Na'ankure knazampima mani'ne'na Ruotge'ma Hu'nemofona kea huhavizana huonte'noe.
And yet it is my comfort (And I exult in pain—He does not spare), That I have not hidden The sayings of the Holy One.
11 Hankave'ni'a omne'neanki'na hanaveti'na mani'ne'na ama ananknazana eri'na ovugosue. Akohena mani'ne'na ama ana knafima ufre hankaveni'a omnetfa hie.
What [is] my power that I should hope? And what [is] my end that I should prolong my life?
12 Hanavenimo'a havegna huno hanavenentake higeno, navufgamo'a bronsimo'ma hiaza hu'nefi?
Is my strength the strength of stones? Is my flesh bronze?
13 Hagi nagra'a naza hugara nosugeno, ama ana knazama agatere kankmuna omnetfa hie.
Is my help not with me, And substance driven from me?
14 Hagi Hihamu'ane Anumzamofoma korora hunontesnia vahe'mo'agi, rone'amo'ma knafima mani'nenigeno'a knare avu'ava huntegahie.
To a despiser of his friends [is] shame, And the fear of the Mighty he forsakes.
15 Hagi nenafugatma tamagra, hagegema hu'nea tinkagomupi ko'ma rigeno tusi tima hageno eteno, ko'ma rusegeno'ma ame huno'ma taneankna vahe mani'naze.
My brothers have deceived as a brook, As a stream of brooks they pass away.
16 Hagi zagemo'ma aisima teze'ze higenoma, tima hageno'ma eviankna vahe mani'naze.
That are black because of ice, By them snow hides itself.
17 Hianagi ana timo'a ra zagema regeno'a neranegeno, tusi amuhoma higeno'a, tima eneviretira taneno hagege nehie.
By the time they are warm they have been cut off, By its being hot they have been Extinguished from their place.
18 Hagi fenozama zagorema netraza vahe'mo'za (Karivani) hagege ka'ma kokampima enevu'za tinku'ma zamavesige'zama umani fru hu'zama tima nenaku'ma hazana, timo'a tanenege'za tinkura huge'za fri'naze.
The paths turn aside of their way, They ascend into emptiness, and are lost.
19 Hagi Tema kumateti fenozama zagore'ma netraza vahe'mo'zama enevu'za ana krahopima tinku'ma kazana tina omnene. Hagi Siba kumateti vahe'mo'zanena enevu'za ana tina negahune hu'za amuhara hu'nazanagi onke'naze.
Passengers of Tema looked expectingly, Travelers of Sheba hoped for them.
20 Hagi zamagra ana tina enevifi hu'zama ome kazana ana timo'a tanegeno, ana tima negahunema hu'za amuha'ma hu'za e'naza zamo'a amnezankna hu'ne.
They were ashamed that one has trusted, They have come to it and are confounded.
21 Hagi menina tamagoana timoma taneaza huta naza hugara osaze. Na'ankure nagri'ma eme nagazana, tusi knaza eri'na mani'nogeta, tusi tamagogogu nehaze.
Surely now you have become the same! You see a downfall, and are afraid.
22 Nagra mago'mokagura hu'na nagri nagi erinka muse'za amio hu'na huge, magomokagura hu'na fenonka'afintira mago'azana erinka knazampintira atesinka navro hu'na hu'nofi?
Is it because I said, Give to me? And, By your power bribe for me?
23 Hagi ha' vahe'nimofo zamazampintira nagu'vazio hu'na huge, kefo vahetmimofo zamazampintira nagu'vazio hu'na mago'mokagura osu'noe.
And, Deliver me from the hand of an adversary? And, Ransom me from the hand of terrible ones?
24 Hagi akoheno'ma mani'zana rempi hunaminke'na kea osu' akohe'na mani'neno. Hagi havizama hu'ne'nua zana naveri hiho.
Show me, and I keep silent, And what I have erred, let me understand.
25 Tamage nanekema hu'zamo'a tusi katagrigahie. Hianagi keha'ma rezamo'a, nanknare'za erifore hugahie?
How powerful have been upright sayings, And what reproof from you reproves?
26 Tamagrama tamagesa antahi'zana, tagrama huna ke antahino amage antegahie huta nehuta, knazampima mani'ne'na nazama huzanku'ma nehakoa vahe'mo'na nanekea eri amne hazageno zahoknara nehio?
For reproof—do you reckon words? And for wind—sayings of the desperate?
27 Ana nehutma satu zokago reta negeta, megusa mofavreramine, ronetaminena zagore zamatregahaze.
You cause anger to fall on the fatherless, And are strange to your friend.
28 Hianagi menina muse nehuta kama nageho, tamagri tamavufina nagra havige nehufi?
And now, please, look on me, Even to your face do I lie?
29 Tamagra havigea huta kumi hune huta nazeri haviza hu kea osiho. Na'ankure nagra mago hazenkea osu'noe.
Please turn back, let it not be perverseness, Indeed, turn back again—my righteousness [is] in it.
30 Tamagrama tamagesama antahi'zana, nagra havige nehufi? Nagra fatgo zane knare zanena ke'na antahi'na osugahufi?
Is there perverseness in my tongue? Does my palate not discern calamity?”
