1 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Jopuna asami'ne,

Then Yahweh said to Job,

2 Kagra hankavenentake Anumzamofona keha' rentenka nevunka, Agrira azeri fatgo hunaku nehampi? Ana hugahue hunka hanananagi, Nagrama kagenokama hanugenka, Nagri kerera, kenona hugahampi?

“Do you still want to argue with me, the Almighty One? Since you criticize me, (you should be able to answer my questions!/why are you not able to answer my questions?) [RHQ]”

3 Anante Jopu'a amanage huno kenona Ra Anumzamofona hunte'ne,

Then Job replied to Yahweh,

4 Nagra amne zaga mani'noanki, inankna hu'na kagri kerera kenona hugahue? Nagra nzanteti nagira ruhamunki'na manigahue.

“[Now I realize that] I am completely worthless. So (how could I answer [those questions]?/I could not possibly answer [those questions]!) [RHQ] I will put my hand over my mouth [and not say anything].

5 Nagra ko rama'a nanekea hu'noanki'na, mago'enena keaga osugahue.

I have already said more than I should have said, so now I will say nothing more.”

6 Hagi kagigagi zahomo'ene komo'ene huno efi Ra Anumzamo'a mani'neno, Jopuna amanage huno asami'ne,

Then Yahweh [again] spoke to Job from inside the great windstorm. He said,

7 Kagra vene'ne antahintahi erinka oti hankavetio. Na'ankure mago'a kagenoka hugahuanki, eri ama hunka kagra kenona hunanto.

“I want to ask you some [more] questions. So as men prepare themselves for a difficult task [MET], prepare yourself again to answer some [more] questions.

8 Kagra hanavetinka keaga hunka, nagri navu'navamo'a knare hu'ne hunka nehane. Hianagi nagrira huhaviza nehunka, Jopuga kagra'agura mani fatgo hu'na mani'noe hunka nehane.

“Are you going to accuse me and say that I am unjust? Are you going to say that what I have done is wrong, in order that you can say that what you have done is right?

9 Kagri hankavemo'a Anumzamo'na hankavegna hu'nefi? Kagrama kageru'ma nerankeno'a, Anumzamo'nama nageru'ma nerugeno monagema hianknara huno, kagri kagerumo'a monagea nehifi?

Are you as powerful [MTY] as I am? Can your voice sound [as loud] as thunder, as mine can?

10 Hagi kagra knare'ma hu'nesanunka, kukena hiaza hunka hihamu hanaveka'afi mani'nege'za, vahe'mo'za negage'za rankagi negami'za husga huganteho.

[If you can do that], put on the robes that show that you are glorious and are greatly honored!

11 Kagra krimpa ahe'zana atregeno eama nehaningenka, zamavufaga rama nehaza vahera zamazeri fenkami atro.

Show that you are very angry; show that you have the right/authority to humble people who are [very] proud!

12 Zamavufga rama nehaza vahera krimpa ahenezamantenka, uruha zamagege'za zamavufaga anteramiza maniho.

Humble those proud people [just] by looking at them [angrily] Crush wicked people quickly!

13 Ana nehunka ana vahera kugusopafi asene zamantenka, fri vahe kumapi kina huzmanto.

Bury them in the ground! Send them to the place where dead people are, where they will not be able to get out!

14 Jopuga anama hananke'na knare'za hane hu'na kagri kagia husga hugahue. Na'ankure kagrika'a hankavemo kaguvazigahie.

After you do that, I will congratulate/praise you and say that [truly] you can save yourself by your own ability/power.

15 Hagi kagri'ma tro hu'noa zama hu'na hanavenentake tusizaga hipopotamosiema nehaza afi zaga tro huntogeno mani'neno bulimakao afu'mo'ma trazama nenea zama huno trazama neneana ko.

“Think [also] about the huge animals that live near the water. I made you, and I made them also. They eat grass, like oxen do.

16 Ana zagamofo amagenafima me'neno hihamuma nemia ame'a negenka, amurugufima me'neno hankavema nemia ame'a ko.

Their legs/thighs are [very] strong, and the muscles of their bellies are [very] powerful.

17 Ana zagamofo risonamo'a sida zafamo'ma hiaza huno hankavenentake hu'ne. Hagi agia zampima me'nea ame'amo'a magopi eri tru hutere hu'neankino tusi hankaveti'ne.

Their tails are stiff (OR, bend down) like the branches of a cedar tree. The sinews/muscles of their thighs are close together.

18 Ana hipopotamosimofo zaferinamo'a bronsireti'ma tro'ma hu'naza paipugna higeno, agia zampi zaferinamo'a aini zafagna hu'ne.

Their [thigh] bones are [like] tubes [made] of bronze, and the bones of their legs are like bars [made] of iron.

19 Anumzamo'na mago'a zaga kfama tro'ma huzmante'nofintira hipopotamosimo'a maka ruzamagatere'ne. Ana hu'neankino tro'ma hunte'nesimoke, ahesnigeno frigahie.

They are among the strongest of the animals that I made, and I, who created them, am the only one who can kill them.

20 Hagi agona ramimpima afi zaga kfamo'zama zokago'ma nerazafi, hipopotamosimo'ma nenea trazamo'a hageno marenerie.

On the hills grows food [PRS] for them to eat while many [HYP] other wild animals play nearby.

21 Nerga asinagna traza lotusine, uha'enema tirupima nehaga'a trazamofo agafafi frakino nemase.

They lie down [in the water] under the lotus plants; they hide in [tall] reeds in the swamps.

22 Tinkenare'ma hageno mareneria trazanku'ma lotusiema nehaza trazampi freno mase'negeno, tona'mo reso huntegeno nemanie.

Those huge animals find shade under the lotus plants, and they are surrounded by poplar trees.

23 Hagi tusi avunema anteno hageno ea tinkura korora nosuno, Jodani timo'enema hageno ankena regama varehiramino ea zanku'enena korora nosie.

They are not disturbed by raging/swiftly-flowing rivers; they are not even disturbed/frightened when [rivers like the] Jordan [River] rush over them.

24 Hagi avunteno mani'neno kvama hu'nesnia vahe'mo'a aze'origahie. Ana nehuno agonagampina nofitetira renteno avazu huno ovugahie.

No one can [RHQ] catch them by blinding their eyes or by piercing their noses with [the teeth of] a trap!”
