1 Hagi tusi'a kagigagi zaho erino efi Anumzamo'a mani'neno, Jopuna amanage huno kenona hunte'ne,
Then did the Lord address Job out of the storm-wind, and said,
2 Jopuga kagrira knare antahi'zana omane'ne. Ana hu'neankinka Nagrama eri'zama erinaku'ma retro'ma hua zankura neginagi nanekea nehane.
Who is this that casteth darkness [on my] counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Nagra menina kagenoka hu'za huanki, vene'ne antahi'za erinka oti hankavetio. Ana nehunka Nagri kere'ma kenonama hananku trotra huo.
Do but gird up like a mighty man thy loins: and I will ask thee, and do thou inform me.
4 Kagra iga mani'nankena ama mopamofona tra'a eri agafa hu'na trora hu'noe? Kagra e'i anazama antahi ama'ma hu'nesunka nasamio.
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? tell it, if thou hast any understanding [of it].
5 Ama mopamofo za'za'ane atupa'ane amu'noma'anema nofi'ma (measurement) avazu huno ke nofira iza tro hunte'ne? E'i ana zana kagra ko kenka antahinka hu'nampi?

6 Ama mopamo'ma agofetu'ma me'nea trara na'amo azeri hanavenetigeno, ome renage eme renage huntete'ma me'nea haveramina, ome regari eme regari hunte'ne?
Upon what are her foundation-pillars placed at rest? or who laid her corner-stone:
7 Hagi kotu ofumo'za anazama nege'za magoka zamagira ante'za zagamera nehazage'za, ankero ramimo'zanena ranke hu'za kezati'za musenkasea hu'naze.
When altogether sang the morning stars in gladness, and shouted for joy all the sons of God?
8 Hagerimo'ma ruvarehiramino mopafima ezankura ama anante megahane huno iza huntegeno me'ne?
And who closed up with doors the sea, when, issuing forth, it came out of the deep bosom of the earth?
9 Hagerimofona hamponteti Nagra kukenama hiaza hu'na eri ano vazinente'na, hagerina kumazu haninu eri anakinte'noe.
When I made the clouds its garment, and thick fog its swaddling-cloth,
10 Ana nehu'na hagerimoka agaterenka ovunka, amare megahane nehu'na, hagerimo'ma ome atre eme atrema hu'nea ankina ankina, kafa erigi'na rentarako hunte'noe.
And when I decreed for it my law, and set [for it] bars and doors,

And said, Thus far mayest thou come, but no farther; and here shall be stayed [thy strength] in the pride of thy waves?
12 Hagi Jopuga mago zupa masa huo hunka hankeno nanterana rumsa nehigenka, kotu masagura hunka remasa hunka marerio hunka hankeno anara hu'nefi?
Didst thou ever, in all thy days, command the morning; didst thou ever assign the morning-dawn its place:

And from the wicked is their light withdrawn, and the high-raised arm is broken.

Hast thou a clear understanding of the breadth of the earth? Tell it, if thou knowest it all.

Where is the way [to the spot where] the light dwelleth? and the darkness—where is its place,

That thou mightest take each to its boundary, and that thou mightest mark the pathways to its house?

26 Vahe'ma omani hagege ka'ma kokampina, iza kora atregeno runente?
To bring rain on a land, void of men; on a wilderness wherein no son of earth [is found];
