1 Hagi Elihu'a mago'ene amanage huno hu'ne.
And Elihu added and said: —
Restrain thyself for me a little, and I will shew thee, that, yet—for GOD, there is justification,
I will bring my knowledge from afar, and, to my Maker, will I attribute righteousness.
4 Nagrama negasamuana havigea nogasamuanki, tamage naneke negasamue. Na'ankure nagra hentofa antahi'zane neki'na, menina kagrane mani'noe.
For, of a truth—not false, are my words, One of competent knowledge, is with thee.
5 Anumzana hankavenentake Anumza mani'ne. Hianagi mago vahera kefenkamia note.
Lo! GOD, is mighty, yet will he not despise, Mighty in vigour of mind;
6 Havi avu'ava'zama nehaza vahera Anumzamo'a zamatrege'za kasefara hu'za nomanize. Hianagi knafima mani'naza vahera fatgo huno refko hunezmante.
He will not keep alive one who is lawless, but, the right of oppressed ones, will he grant;
7 Ke'zamima omne vahetera avua anteteno nemanie. Hianagi zamatrege'za kini vahe'ene kini trate nemanizageno, maka zupa zamazeri antesga huvava nehie.
He will not withdraw—from a righteous one—his eyes, —but, with kings on the throne, He hath seated men triumphantly, and they have been exalted.
But, if, bound in fetters, they have been captured with cords of affliction,
9 na'a agafare anara hu'nefi Anumzamo'a eri zamaveri nehie. Ana nehuno zamavufaga erisga nehu'za kumi'ma hu'naza kumira eri zamaveri nehie.
Then hath he declared to them their deed, and their transgressions—that they were wont to behave themselves proudly;
10 Antahi'zazmia eri hagaro hige'za kefo avu'ava'ma hu'naza zana keama nehazageno, hanavenentake naneke hige'za kumi zamavu'zmava zana atre'za rukrahera nehaze.
Thus hath he uncovered their ear to a warning, and said—that they should turn from iniquity.
If they would hearken, and serve, they should complete their days, in prosperity, and their years, in pleasantness;
But, if they would not hearken, by a weapon, should they pass away, and breathe their last, no one knowing.
Yea, the impious in heart, should store up anger, They should not cry for help, when he bound them.
14 Ana monko avu'avaza hume nevu'za, ozafa orene'za kasefa vahe nefrize.
Their soul should die in youth, and their life, among the unclean.
He would deliver the humbled in his humiliation, and would uncover—in oppression—their ear.
16 Jopuga amama mani'nana knazampintira Anumzamo'a kavre atreteno, knaza omane kumate kavrenteno knare'nare ne'za tratera retro hugante'ne.
Yea he might even have allured thee—out of the mouth of straitness, [into] a wide space—no narrowness there, —and, the food set down on thy table, should have been full of fatness.
17 Hianagi kagra kefo avu'ava'za nehana ne' mani'nanankino Anumzamo'a refko huno negeno, fatgo huno kazeri havizana nehie.
But, with the plea of a lawless one, thou art full, Plea and sentence, will take fast hold.
18 Hianagi mago vahe'mo'ma feno zanteti'ma regvatagama hu'zankura kva huo. Ana nehunka zamatrege'za zagoreti masavea hu'za kumipina kavre onteho.
Because there is wrath, [beware] lest he take thee away with a stroke, Then let not, a great ransom, mislead thee.
19 Kagrama antesnana fenozamo'ene, maka hankaveka'amo'a ama knazampintira kaza osutfa hugahie.
Will he value thy riches? Nay not precious ore, nor all the forces of strength.
20 Ana hu'negu ame huno haninkisie hunka haninkura avega onto. Na'ankure knazamo'a kenagera ame huno eno, kumazamifintira vahera eme zamazeri haviza nehie.
Do not pant for the night, when peoples disappear from their place.
21 Kagra kegava hu'nenka havi kavukva zampintira atrenka rukrahe huo. Na'ankure havi kavukva zampinti atrenka rukrahe hunka esane huno Anumzamo'a knazana kagritera atregeno ne-e.
Beware, do not turn unto iniquity, For, this, thou hast chosen rather than affliction.
22 Antahiho! Anumzana hankavenentake hu'neankino, ina ne'mo Agrama rempima hunezamiankna nera mani'ne?
Lo, GOD, exalteth himself by his strength, Who like him doth teach?
23 Mago vahe'mo'a Anumzamofonkura, e'ina huo hunora osamige, Kagra mago zana eri haviza hu'nane hunora huontegahie.
Who enjoined on him his way? and who ever said, Thou hast wrought perversity?
24 Hagi Agrama hankave eri'zama eri'nea zanku Agrira agi'a husga nehu'za, zagamera hu'za humuse huntegahaze. Ana hu'negu kagranena zagame hunka humuse hunto.
Remember, that thou extol his work, of which men have sung;
25 Maka vahe'mo'za Agrama tro hu'nea zana, ko ke'naze. Hianagi Anumzamo'ma so'e antahi'zanteti'ma eri'zama eri'nea zana afeteti ke'nazanki'za, keso'ea osu'naze.
Every son of earth, hath viewed it, Mortal man, looketh at it from afar.
26 Tamage, Anumzamo'a tagri antahi'zana agatereno rankrerfa hu'ne. Ana hu'neankita Agrira kafu'amo'a nama'a hu'nefi keta eri forera hugara osu'none.
Lo, GOD, is greater than we can know, The number of his years, even past finding out!
27 Agra higeno mopafinti timo'a amu huno marerino, hampo ome seteno tina fore huno kora nerie.
For he draweth up drops of water, They trickle as rain through his mist;
28 Ana ko'mo'ma hampompinti'ma eramiana knare huno maka vahete runente.
With which the clouds flow down, They drop on man in abundance.
29 Anami monafima hampoma eritama rente'nea zana, iza keno antahinora nehanigeno, Anumzamo'ma nemanifinti'ma monagema nehia zana, inankna huta keta antahitara hugahune?
But surely none can understand the burstings of the cloud, the crashing of his pavilion!
30 Anumzamo'a higeno Agrama mani'nea tavaontera kopsi'namo'a marave huno azeri kanegigeno, masa'amo'ma amefenkame'ma hagerimofo ro'are'ma uneramia zana ko.
Lo! he hath spread out over it, his lightning, The bed of the sea, hath he covered.
31 E'inahu hankave'areti Anumzamo'a maka vahera kegava hunezmanteno, ne'zana rama'a zamige'za atupara nosaze.
For, by those things, he executeth judgment on peoples, He giveth food in abundance:
32 Agra kevema hiaza huno kopasi'na azampi eri'neno, inantego ahetresuema huno hirega ahenetre.
Upon both hands, he putteth a covering of lightning, and layeth command upon it against an assailant:
33 Hagi Anumzamo'ma higeno monagema hiazamo'a, ununko atugahie huno hunerasamigeno, bulimakao afutamimo'za zamagranena anazanke hu'za nentahize.
His rolling thunder telleth concerning him, —The cattle, even, concerning him that is coming up.
