1 Hagi Elihu'a mago'ene amanage hu'ne,
Then Elihu continued,
2 Knare antahi'zama eri'nana ne'moka nagrama hanua nanekere kagesa antenka nentahinka, ama' antahi'zama eri'nana ne'moka nagrama hanua nanekea akohenka mani'nenka antahio.
“Listen to my words, you men who say you are wise; pay attention to what I'm saying you who think you know.
3 Hagi ne'zama tagite erinteta haga'ama neta konaza huno, maka nanekema tagesamo'ma antahia nanekea, tagesamo'a rezagane so'e huno nentahie.
The ear distinguishes words just as the palate distinguishes foods.
4 E'ina hu'negu inagemo fatgo huno knare hu'nefi tagra'a rezaganeta negeta, rempi huta antahisune.
Let us discern for ourselves what is right: let us decide among ourselves what is good.
5 Hagi Jopu'ma kema hifina anage hu'ne, nagrira ke'ni'a omane'neanagi, Anumzamo'a kema hu kankamuni'a eri atrege'na mago zana osu'noe huno hu'ne.
Job said, ‘I am innocent, and God has denied me justice.
Nagrira kumini'a omane'neanagi natama namino nevia natazamo'a vagaoresnia avamente nevie.
Even though I'm right, I'm treated like a liar; I am dying from my wounds, even though I've done nothing wrong.’
7 Hagi magora Jopukna nera iza mani'ne. Agra kizazokago ke huno vahe'ma zamaveri hu kege nehia ne' mani'ne.
Has there ever been a man like Job with such a thirst for ridiculing others?
8 Ana nehuno Jopu'a kumi'ma nehaza vahe'ene eri mago huno nemanino, kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'ene kna ahefrino nemanie.
He keeps company with wicked people; he associates with those who do evil.
9 Na'ankure Jopu'a huno, Anumzamofoma musema huntesnampintira mago zana e'origahane huno hu'ne.
He's even said, ‘What benefit is there in being God's friend?’
10 E'ina hu'negu ama' antahi'zama eri'naza vahe'mota nagri naneke antahiho. Ana hu'neankino Hankavenentake Anumzamo'a mago hazenkea osugahie.
So listen to me, you men of understanding! It's impossible for God to do evil and the Almighty to do wrong.
11 Vahe'mo'zama hu'naza avu'avate anteno rezaganeno negeno, mizana zamitere nehia Anumza mani'ne.
He pays people back for what they've done, and treats them as they deserve.
12 Tamagerfa huno Hankavenentake Anumzamo'a mago hazenke zana osugahie. Ana hu'neankino Hanavenentake Anumzamo'a fatgo huno refkoa hugahie.
It's absolutely sure that God doesn't act wickedly; the Almighty would never pervert justice.
Who put him in charge of the earth? Who gave him the responsibility for all the world?
14 Hagi Anumzamo'ma Agra'a avamu'ene, asimu'anema ete eriresina,
If he were to withdraw his spirit, if he were to take back his breath,
all living things would immediately die and human beings would return to dust.
16 E'ina hu'negu Jopuga ama' antahi'zane vahe mani'noema hunka hanunka, nagrama nehua nanekere kagesa ante'nenka antahio.
If you have understanding then hear this; pay attention to what I'm saying.
17 Kagrama antahinana fatgo avu'ava zanku'ma avesrama hiresina, Anumzamo'a ama mopa kegava hunora viresimpi? E'ina hu'negu Hankave nentake huno fatgoma hu'nea Anumzamo'ma refko'ma hania zantera, mago hazenke hu'ne hunka huamara huntegahampi?
Do you really think someone who hated justice could govern? Are you going to condemn Almighty God who always does what is right?
18 Anumzamo'a kini vahekura huno, mago zana huga vahera omani'naze nehuno, zamagima me'nea vahekura huno havi avu'avaza nehaza vahe mani'naze huno nehie.
He's the one who tells kings, ‘You're useless!’ or says to nobles, ‘You're wicked!’
19 Anumzamo maka vahera Agra'a tro huzmante'neankino, agi me'nea vahe'ene zago vahekukera nehuno, zamagi omne vahe'ene zamunte omne vahera zamage amne zanknara nosianki, Agri avurera mago avamenteke mani'naze.
He doesn't think more of the rich than the poor, for they are all people he himself made.
20 Vahe'mo'za osi'a knafi ame hu'za nefrize. Kenage amu'nompi friza nevazageno, hankave vahera Anumzamo'a zamahe nefrie.
They die in a moment; at midnight they shudder and pass away; the mighty are gone without effort.
21 Na'ankure maka vahe'mo'zama haza zana Anumzamo'a negeno, maka avu'ava zama hazana nege.
For he watches what they're doing and sees everywhere they go.
22 Hanima nehia zamo'a Anumzamofo avua resoa osanigeno, maka kumira amate kegahie.
There is no darkness so deep where people who do evil can hide themselves from him.
23 E'ina hu'negu tagra kna huhampri'neta ana knarera esanunkeno, Anumzamo'a refkoa huorantegahie.
God doesn't need to examine anyone in any greater detail that they should come before him for judgment.
24 Anumzamo'a mago hankave vahe'ma azeri havizama hunakura, vahera antahigeteno anara nosie. Ana'ma nehuno'a ana vahe nontera ruvahe azeri o'netie.
He brings down the mighty without needing an investigation; he sets up others in their place.
Knowing what they've done he overthrows them in a night and destroys them.
26 Hagi havi vahe'mo'zama zamavu'zmava zama hu'naza zamofo nona'a, amate zamazeri haviza nehige'za vahe'mo'za nezamagaze.
He strikes them down for their wickedness in public where they can be seen
because they turned away from following him, disregarding all his ways.
28 Ana zamunte omne vahera zamazeri havizama hazage'zama Anumzamofontega zavi'ma nete'zama, zavi krafama nehazageno'a Anumzamo'a antahi'ne.
They made the poor call out to him, and he heard the cries of the oppressed.
29 Hianagi ana zante'ma Anumzamo'ma nona huno havi avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'ma zamazeri havizama nosanigeno'a, iza huno Anumzamo'a havi avu'ava nehie? hunora hugahie. Hagi avugosama eri fra'ma nekisanigeno'a, mago vahe'mo'a keno eri forera osugahie. Hianagi Agrake mago'mago vahete'ene ama mopafima me'nea kumatamina kegava hu'ne.
Yet if God wants to remain silent, who can condemn him? If he chooses to hide his face, who can see him? Whether it concerns a nation or an individual,
a person who rejects God should not rule so they don't mislead people.
31 Hagi izaga antahi'nankeno Jopu'a Anumzamofonkura huno, nagrama hu'noa kumi'mofo nona hunka nazeri haviza nehananki, mago'enena kumira osugahue hunora hu'ne?
If you were to say to God, ‘I have sinned, but I won't do bad things any more.
32 Nagrama hu'nesnua kumira eri ama hunka nasamio. Hagi nagrama havi navu'navama hu'nesnuana henka'anena anazana osugahue.
Show me what I cannot see. If I have done wrong, I won't do it again,’
33 Anumzamo'ma Jopugama hugantea zankura kave'nosie. Ana hu'negu kagri'ma kave'nesiaza Anumzamo'a hunantesie hunka kagesa ontahio. Hianagi nagri zana omane'neanki, kagripi antahintahia me'ne. Ana hu'negu menina knare antahi'zanka'a huama hugeta antahi'maneno.
then should God reward you for following your own opinions since you have rejected his? You're the one who has to choose, not me! Tell us what you think.
34 Hagi ama' antahi'zama eri'naza vahe'mo'zane, knare antahi'zama eri'naza vahe'mo'zama nagrama hua nanekema nentahi'za amanage hu'za nagrikura hazaresine.
For people who understand—those who are wise who have heard what I said—will tell me,
35 Jopu'a agafa'a omane'nea naneke nehantageno, antahintahia osu neginagi naneke nehie hu'za hazaresine.
‘Job doesn't know what he's talking about. What he says doesn't make any sense.’
36 Jopugama kefo nanekema hu'nana zantera, Anumzamo'a tusi'a knaza kamigahie.
If only Job were thoroughly condemned because he speaks like evil people do.
37 Jopu'a kumi'ma hu'nea agofetu'ma, mago'ene kumi'ma hu'neana, azante rupro huno Anumzamofona kiza zokago ke hunenteno, tagri'enena keha'nereno, Anumzamofonkura huno fatgo hunora refkoa hunonante huno keharente'ne.
Now he has added rebellion to his sins; he claps his hands at us, making long speeches full of accusations against God.”
